The lightsaber is the tool or weapon of both the Jedi and the Sith, however if you wish to transcend the simple titles of these two groups you have to expand your horizons when it comes to weapons. And when one is not only a Sith but an Emperor you must look towards the grandest and most prestigious of weapons 'The Sword'. Brightsword is the sword that was hand crafted for the Emperor Elix the First, many millennia ago.
Description
A pure marvel of design, engineering, vision and power, the combination of Sith Alchemy, Swordsmith, lightsabre technology and pure Force Energy. The Blade is a combination of physical blade and plasma, giving it the ability to not only cut through almost anything but also be casually placed against an enemies neck without removing there head.
The blade travelled with the Emperor throughout his crusade against the ancient Jedi, the pacification of the Cartel's and the many battles that surrounded both of these events. Like many Drast family heirlooms it was passed along to his preferred child not his direct successor, the blade this time following Andraste's Pendant. Though the pair were soon seprated amongst the vast bloodline of the Empress.
When an item this powerful and ancient has been surrounded with the strongest Sith Bloodline to have existed, the blade has seen countless wars, a plethora of death and an ocean of blood shed with its blade. As such the Darkness as slowly seeped into the blade turning its once polished silver surface to black.
With the fall of the Sith the blade disappeared into the deep dark depths of the Outer Rim, long forgotten to all who knew its name and its lineage. But like all things of the Dark Side, it does not wish to sit ideally by and watch the galaxy pass it by, no for its call for blood and carnage blazes hotter and a rampant Rancor. From the depths of its hiding place it calls out to all those who wish for power, a hundred times the blade has been lifted by a lifeform and a hundred times it has led to blood, death and misery. Until that man had been killed by the very blade it once picked up and so the cycle continues until someone stronger than the blade grasps the hilt and the darkness within.
Intent
To create a new weapon for Raze who is currently on the hunt for something to make him look cool.
