Oh the excitement of traveling to the ass end of the galaxy.

Well it was exciting to Christian at least. Truly is there anything more interesting then going to a new place and having a good old fashioned chat. Sadly, he probably should of trained in the diplomacy arts in regards to the jedi but people seemed to get rather annoyed with him if they spent too long in his company so his master had told him to take the lightsaber and become proficient in that.

So he had and here he was, going to a distant backwater to try and find a lost race all to help his brand new padawan, truly the life of a jedi was amazing. He tried to concentrate on the wonderful blue swirl of hyperspace but sadly the child behind him kept kicking him through his seat.

''Now Cat, always always travel when there are the most ammount of the public nearby. Now there are two reasons for this....First...''

The Ship jolted out from hyperspace, this only seemed to enrage the children on the large and ancient correlia transport ship even more until the noises reached an impressive crescendo.

'First...Always good to have people around you because a Jedi is about people. Never forget that our task in this galaxy is to help people, first and foremost behind everything else. The second reason is because it's a damn sight cheaper!'

Christian chuckled to himself as he looked out of a nearby window, he could just see Bunduki coming into view.

''Now, tell me if you found out any new info on Bunduki or would you like to rack my brains some more!'

The speeding blue blast of stars shooting past the transport was unlike anything Cat had seen before. He had been in a starship before, but it was inside a room with no views, so he couldn't see the spectacular display.
Leaning back in his seat, the young Knightly hopeful pulled out his palm-sized datapad from the pockets of his short-sleeved tunic(which he had just cut the sleeves off of prior to the flight)and scrolled through it, reading about the latest happenings on his home planet of Dantooine.

It seemed like centuries from when he had last been there, but rather, it was only really 2 weeks. He wondered what his friends were doing right now - probably sitting on their favorite hill which he had sat with them on so many times, gazing up at the beautiful night sky of Dantooine, or running in the fields of berries that they had marked their prints in so many times.

His Master had been talking to him about something, but he had only paid half attention, watching the blue tunnel of hyperspace dissapear as they arrived in the Bunduki system.

"I see, Christian, but what if the people around you are murderous crooks intent on robbing the captain of the ship and, eventually, bounding and gagging you, and then throwing you out the airlock? That wouldn't be very good company at all."
Cat chuckled at his own reply to his master's advice.

"As for Bunduki, master... I've been doing some research on my datapad here, and I learned that it was, of course, once the homeworld of the Followers of Palawa.. who of course were the developers of Teras Kasi. It was taken control of by the Epica.. Epicanff.. whoever those folks are pronounced like, during the Clone Wars, and there's not much said about it after that period.

So, master, what's our plan once we reach the surface?"

'Ha! Well if that were to happen then you do what Jedi do. Keep the peace and be a thoroughly nice gentlemen to all the people on board, people do love a good hero and you got the look of one.

He stood up as the ship began it's descent towards the planet, his knees were feeling a bit rough around the edges after being sat down for so sodding long.

''Yes, got it in one. Well the world has a few such transports going there once in a blue moon, quite literally as I'm sure somewhere in the galaxy there is a blue moon that shows up somewhere once every 6 months. Anyway, the plan my dear lad...''

The ship rumbled as it broke through the atmosphere and below him he could see a large city, it seemed friendly if a city could be friendly.

''Is to find remnants of the followers of Palawa and see if they can teach you some of there amazing little technique, if they can then we have success and if they can't then we have got away from the over crowded core for a while'

"I do hope you're right about the existing Followers being kind to -us Jedi-, master. But if they are hostile, it'd be a good as combatant as ever to hone my Teras Kasi skills.. defensively, that is."

As the transport drew closer to the ground surface of Bunduki, the young Padawan wondered what kind of adventures it held in store for he and his new master, Christian. It was his first -real- adventure, nothing like exploring caves with his friends back home on Dantooine. Cat hoped it would help him advance far on his road to Knighthood.

"It looks like we're about to land, Christian."

Securing his datapad in the pockets of his tunic, Cat finished his bag of chips which were supplied to him at the Will of the Force cafeteria - which were actually better than you might think. They were crispy, and had just enough salt. Cat's stomach still grumbled still, but the majority of his hunger was cured.

'Defensively indeed young sir! Remember we are the guardians of peace and justice, not the guardians of having a barmy every chance we get!'

Christian walked towards the ramp as it lowered onto the ground, he stepped out into a large open space, it was a docking ring with a small open roofed corridor into street, he gave the place a quick once over and knew he had made a mistake straight away. It was a combination of things, the first being that the street infront of the ring was empty, the second being that the cannons were all directed onto him and most worrying that a rather large group of men armed to the teeth were coming towards him.

'Oh dear'

It was pointless doing anything as he would be dead before he got a chance to pull out his saber and deflect a few blows, he was a good swordsman but no one was that good, the soldiers made a beeline right for him and grabbed him roughly.

''Come with us Jedi, you are under arrest'

''Oh dear, I am not a...Well ok I am a jedi but I have done nothing wrong! Please, I am merely here on a fact finding mission with...by myself and I really haven't done anything to deserve this''

''Shut it!'

Bugger, well atleast his padawan hadn't got caught. Thankfully he came out first as he had a feeling Cat wouldn't of taken being man handled away towards a very large and intimidating tower complex as well as he had.

As the transport landed in the circular docking bay and the boarding ramp lowered, Cat's master had gone out first - to take a look at the surroundings, I figured - while Cat recovered his backpack which was in the small cargo hold at the back of the ship.

After he recovered his pack, Cat strapped it onto his back and went down out of the shuttle with the rest of the passengers - a small crowd of people who were minding their own business, shuffling out of the ship and bumping shoulders with the others. Cat came out last, looking for his master who seemed to have turned to thin air.

Then, he spotted Christian - who was really in a predicament .. It looked like he was being carried away by men in black armor and holding blasters!

"Mast - "

Cat realized it would do no good to yell out for his master and probably compromise their lives, and instead decided to follow the armed men to where they were taking his master. If he could rescue him, he'd do his darn best to do it.

It looked like they were taking him to some sort of giant tower or skyscraper. Cat figured there must be some pretty mean dudes in that building, to have such a gloomy exterior. He stowed away in the alleys and passageways behind his master's captors, trying to stay out of site or look like a local as much as possible.

It looked like the young boy from Dantooine was going on an adventure after all.

Sadly even a jedi was fairly useless without his eyes, he could sense what was going on around him but as he was dragged higher into the building, going up numerous lifts and staircases co by the end he could say with some certainty that he had no idea where he was.

'Now, is this really needed gentlemen? I mean this is surely all just a terrible misunderstanding............'

He didn't get to finish his sentence as he was thrown into a cell. They had taken his lightsaber and belt sadly so he was stuck behind a very rudimentary but no less effective shield. The guards looked at him for a moment in distaste before they left him alone.

Atleast he had a window to look out on, as he looked out at the city he could still see the ship he had come in on, it seemed as if the guards were giving it a good once over but why? He had never been here before and no jedi had been here for a thousand years.

The people were Epicanthix but that didn't explain why he had been taken hostage.

'Well Cat, it's up to you now.''

He said as he slumped to the ground.

Cat, out of breath, stopped behind a corner of an alleyway, trying to lean out of the corner without falling over. There was the building - he was just a few hundred feet away from it. The guards had taken his master inside - it must be some sort of detention center; he was sure of it. Two guards stood their post outside the building, guarding the revolving doors which entered into the main lobby.

Cat made a quick walk out of the alley and down the cobble road to the entrance of the building. The guards let him enter without much trouble; Cat told them he wanted to visit his dad who was on guard duty.

Going up to the granite circular desk, where a lazy-looking Epicanthix was snoring. It looked like he was dreaming, but Cat couldn't tell.
"Uh, excuse me, sir.."
"Wha - huh- *snort*.. -*sniff*.. oh, uh, yes Mr. Roper, the deathsticks will be delivered.. don't you worry - OH! hello, young man. Uh.. what can I do for you?"
"I want to visit my father.. a friend of his told me he got arrested for stealing. I wanted to go up and talk to him."
"Well, little kid, uh, this is my first day on the job, and I don't really know where everything is - "
"If you'd send me up to the level where the criminals in the last.. uh, 30 minutes or so, were taken, I can find him from there."
"Ok. That's.. level 4. The guard over there by the turbolift will take you up."
"Thank you."

It was times like this that Cat was glad he didn't own a lightsaber. They would have recognized him right away as a Jedi with one, and even with his tunic, some other civilians he had seen were wearing something similar.
Cat walked over to the turbolift, where he explained to the guard his situation. He let Cat into the turbolift and accompanied him in it, as the lift shot up to Level 4.

Cat exited into the detention block with the guard, and Cat looked around for his master.. and instantly spotted him.
"If you don't mind, sir, I'd like to be alone with my dad.."
The guard mouthed a silent reply, and walked back into the turbolift which shot him back down to the lobby.
Cat ran over to the cell which his master was in, and pressed his fingertips against the forcefield. It was warm, but Cat could hold his hands in place on it for a while before they started to burn.

"Master! Master, we've got to get you out of here! Master!"

Brushing his thick, ebony locks from his crystalline eyes, Casval looked around the dimly lit catina in hopes of spotting someone that would just jump out at him. Unfortunately, his search was as futile as woeing a Twi'Lek dancer. The worst of the worst were gathered here: bounty hunters, smugglers, criminals, snitches, mercenaries, et cetera. It was the catina nearest to the jail tower so this place became home to many of the criminals who recently got out or escaped - and would soon be going back chances had it. Having served as an admiral in the Empire before its decline into darkness, he hated having to be in the presence of these scums, let alone interact with them, but regrettably he needed information.

The reason why he was on this planet was in the hopes of finding a willing Teras Kasi master. The former Imperial Knight figured that although these low lives were worth less than the dust blanketing the floors here, they would be the best sources of information on this planet. These people were like roaches. They were everywhere. Their ears caught words only the wind was supposed to hear and saw sights only the dead could speak of. If anyone could direct him to one of these Teras Kasi masters, they would most likely be in here.

Casval himself was proficient in many martial arts and combat styles. He had little use for the Followers of Palawa himself, but he wasn't searching for the opportunity to better himself. He commanded a legion of Imperial soldiers who defected away from the Empire after the Sith got their filthy claws on it. They were determined to cleanse the Empire of those that defiled it. He figured that if Teras Kasi - a combat style meant to fight Jedi - was so proficient, surely it would work against the Sith as well.

If they were going to gain an edge against their enemies, this made for a great starting point.

"What do you think," He spoke to his companion seated beside him without turning. "Do you think anyone here would know anything?"

He was like a shadow, though it was hard to avoid the piercing silver optics that lay dormant behind the pitch black locks of hair upon his cranium. As usual, he was following his new leader around, being as inexperienced as he was, he took any chance to get experience he got. Just because he trained to become quite the fighter, doesn't mean in particular that he was as good as any experienced fighter. He could feel the soft skin still on his fists, he knew nothing of true battle. The hood of his black cloak pulled back, he stirred over his drink, ravenous eyes darting calmly left and right, taking a peek over the bar.

The place smelled, first of all. It wasn't just the smell of the cluster of different races, it was the smell of the many whom haven't bathed in god knows how long, or the smell of rotten food. This place was crawling with some of the worst known criminals, and some of the most notorious kinds of humans and aliens. However, Casval said this was the best place to gather information when you needed it. Thus, he took his eyes, and made sure to keep an look. Regardless of who or what he looked at though, it all blended together, nothing really stood out to him. Young palms gripped the cup in front of him, and he took a small sip of the water that was in it.

It was when Casval spoke to him that he looked up, eyes not looking directly at him but behind him. He didn't have anyone in particular to look at, but it was his reaction; being a Corporal was tough work, he had to claw his way up if he wanted to show his worth, and the worth he had wasn't amounted to much at this moment given how he joined. He spoke in a calm tone, just low enough so Casval could be the only one to hear him. He'd been looking where Casval wasn't, but not once did he see anyone that particularly stood out.

"No, not a soul..."

It would be a while before he could get used to this. Though he was used to traveling as a Matukai, he was hardly used to this kind of travel. He was sure, his life following this man was the right choice. With what was going on, maybe he would be able to find out things in this world he didn't know..

"What should I be looking for?"

Relief washed against Christian's face as he saw Cat come into the room, he had thought of a few ways of getting out of the room as it was about as advanced as something the Republic used thousands of years ago but he didn't fancy his chances without a lightsaber, didn't fancy them one bit.

'Well done Cat, well done indeed. Find a way to shut off this thing and we can get out of here. God only knows why they so desperate to get me under arrest. I guess the ship captain must of sent a message ahead and warned them about me. You clearly got lucky, an advantage to not having a lightsaber hanging off your belt clearly!'

"Yes, Master. It surely was a lucky break. But I'm more glad that you're alright. As for getting you outs of theres.."

The young padawan did not know much about forcefields in his days on Dantooine and they certainly didn't hold lectures on them at the numerous Jedi establishments. At first, he tried to dissipate it with the Force, but it was no use.

And then he found the all-mighty button. It was encased in a small box with a hinged lid. The button was red, and reeked of something that would have the text "DO NOT TOUCH" above it. Despite that, the button proved to be worthwhile of pressing. The forcefield lowered, and Cat walked in to help his master out.

"You know, you could've mind-tricked the guy.. ah well, - be careful, Master, there is a guard around that turn. We definitely can't escape the way we came in - through the front door. What're we going to do?"

''I could of done, yes. They were exceptionally weak willed but then I'm not here to test my skill, we are here to test yours! I thought this could of been a good exercise for you, and whether you showed restraint or fought. You most certainly choose the right option'

He brought his lightsaber and his belt towards him using the force and swiftly put them on, with a smile at his padawan he turned towards his cell moving back inside before it was illuminated with a snap hiss with his lightsaber, the bright green blade stood proudly before it was plunged into the wall, it cut through the metal as if it was made of treacle.

After he had made a large circle through the entire wall he used the force with a wave of his hand that dislodged the cut metal that promptly fell towards the ground.

'Come here Cat, in front of us we have a rather large jump towards the next building. How do you think we will get on? do you believe you can do it? All you have to do is control the force, feel the force throughout your body and channel it into a physical thing, namely using your legs to make that jump to the nearby building''

"I will try my best, master.. if it means getting out of this sleemo's nest.."

Channeling all of the Force power inside of him to his lower body, Cat gently closed his eyes and pulled all of the energy he could from the air around him, focusing it into his legs. Walking backwards out of the cell, the young Padawan ran forward, gaining momentum, and pushed his heels against the edge of the hole in the wall, to gain even more momentum, and then released all of the energy in his legs to propell himself over the gap, just barely landing on the roof of the other building.

"W-whoa!" he almost lost his balance on the ledge of the roof, but focused the force into his upper body to keep his stance, then hopped off the ledge.
"Ok, master, it's your turn!" he yelled across the crevasse.
"We had better hurry, those guards are going to notice that hole in the wall, I figure!"

''Most Likely!''

He ran forward and leaped across the divide landing next to Cat with a huge grin across his face.

''Nice Cat, never forget that despite everything that happened there no one was injured, no one lost there life and all that happened was a a rather large hole in a wall and a guard who will most likely get a golly good telling off!

Now, before we got here I had the joy of talking to the gentlemen via the wonder that is the holonet in regards to where we could locate any Followers of whatever they are called. Now he is located in a nearby establishment so let's get down to street level, blend in and find this cantina, my fellows name is Gormack....Don't ask''

Before letting his padawan take all that in he walked to the edge of the building and began to nimbly jump onto the window ledges moving quickly and safely down to the alley way below and no doubt giving several bystanders a real scare outside there window.

((Posting from my phone. Apologies for any roughness.))

"Unacceptable." The lone word fell from his lips with an air of disappointment. For a few more seconds Casval let the silence hang around them before speaking again. "I brought you with me because of your ability to use the Force. You're capable of feats that most others couldn't even imagine. You can see without your eyes and hear without your ears." Gathering his thoughts, he laughed inwardly at himself. He - someone who no longer had faith in the Force and closed himself off from it - was instructing another in how to use it. How hypocritical could he get?

"I want you to look one more time. This time however, don't use your eyes. Close them, they'll only distract you. I want you to use the Force. I want you to get the mental image of reaching out a finger and touching my head. Once you get the picture in your head, do it. Let your thoughts map the way and allow the Force to guide you."

Taking a deep breath, he gathered his ebony cloak around his muscular frame and waited. If Kimoru could reach out and touch his mind, there was no reason why he couldn't probe the others here. Of course he didn't expect the young corporal to be able to delve in and read their thoughts, but he didn't need him to be able to do that. If he could learn just to brush them with the probe they could achieve their goal.

"Yes, mast-"
Before he could finish, his master was jumping off the sides of buildings. Oh, what happened when Cat's master wasn't watched..
Climbing up to the ledge of the building, Cat stepped off and dropped straight down for a distance, and landed crouching on a fire escape. He figured a fire escape would be better than swinging around on balconys and ledges and poles, like his Master did. It MIGHT make him look a little more like a civilian, which was their goal.

Reaching the street level, the young Knightly hopeful joined his master walking the sidewalks of the city. There looked to be quite abit of bustle around them. One speeder in the street turning a sharp corner almost sprayed a bucketload of water in Cat's face. He grimaced.

"I hope all streets in the galaxy aren't like this one, master. It'd be dreadful to get soaked every time some dummy messed around with his speeder."

''Ha! One thing this galaxy has a mass never ending amount of is idiots. Now let's walk together and do try to walk very nonchalantly, Yes'

He wrapped his great coat around his body hiding his lightsaber, he put his head out form the alleyway looking for anyone of authority but happily he saw no one but normal people so he moved out into the city smiling at the passers by.

''Now, where is the bloody cantina?'

He pulled out a datapad from his pocket and looked it over, bloody technology how he loathed it in most of it's forms, waste of time and money, but he soldiered on with the pad until he found what he was looking for.

'Ok, it is about a mile down this road so all we have to do is go for a brisk stroll my young friend. Now, tell me about your family Cat, if you learn about someones past then you learn about where they are going!'

"Uh.. well, my family.. I don't really know. I mainly grew up with my friends and their parents. I never lived with one family for a long time, and always popped in and out. That way, it seemed like I had alot of brothers and sisters. Which I sort of did. They were like family to me. I played with them, ate with them, slept with them, looked up at the stars with them. Probably a better bunch of family than I could ever get by birth. They also had no idea I was Force Sensitive, and I didn't either. Until the Empire and the Jedi clashed on that plain below the hill. Then I was told, that I had potential. I didn't have much time to say goodbye to my friends, but it was good enough for me."

Cat had a stern look on his face. It was obvious he missed his friends, but he was glad to be on the path of a Knight..

"So, master, now that I've told you about me, why don't you tell me about you?"

''Well I'm sure the Order will not begrudge you going back to your family to see them once and a while. Thankfully the order takes a very mature view in regards to seeing your family.''

Christian tried and gloss over the question that was asked to him, luckily he spied the cantina with a rather burly and unhappy looking gamorrean outside, so they weren't the only off worlders on the planet. He briskly walked to the front door, nodding at the gamorrean who gave him a look that could melt a face, he stepped through into the cantina and was engulfed by the numerous smells and sights, people flogging drinks, men playing games and all sorts. How wonderful!

'Ok, let us split up to try and find Gormack. You go left and I will go right. Off you go!'
