Cat began vigorously looking over each patron, making sure not to look nosy. He tapped one particular man on the shoulder, at the bar.
"Excuse me sir-"
"UNITED WE STAND
DIVIDED WE FALL
WE'RE TIGHTER THAN PANTYHOES
2 SIZES SMALL!"
"Ok. well that's nice.
He obviously had too much vegetable soup."
He scanned as much of each person's face as he dared before they started to stare. He didn't really know what to look for - his master had not provided an adequate description of the man they were looking for, it was likely he had only chatted with each other over the holonet and not seen each others faces.

Cat tried to look for anybody out of the ordinary, somebody anxious or somebody who looked like they were looking for somebody, expecting somebody. He noticed one man at a table in the corner of the room whose eyes darted around at everybody. He moved over to the table casually; Cat hoped his master noticed the man, too - he didn't look very friendly..

Waiting for his young companion to execute the task Casval had given him, the former Imperial Knight once more averted his attention to the catina's dedizens. Sweeping his crystalline gaze across the room, he immediately noticed something that wasn't happening when he looked just seconds ago. There was someone approaching him!

With patience gained through training, Casval stayed calm and pretended not to notice his new visitor. The boy looked to just be a teenager, but he knew by now that appearances had little to do with anything. As soon as you were old enough to know what a blaster was you could be a potential assassin.

From first glance he committed the boy's attire to memory. He was wearing a simple cloak, common to Jedi, but equally common to assassins alike as it could easily hide a blaster in its many billows. Both possibilities unnerved him a little. If it was an assassin then the Empire had tracked him down. They might think he was as good as dead, but he wouldn't go down without a fight! If it was a Jedi, well . . . he wasn't sure what that meant exactly. He had no idea why a Jedi of all people would be approaching him.

Finally turning his piercing gaze to the approaching boy, he held the teen in a deathly stare, with his eyes silently daring him to come closer.

'Gormack! Remember me! You were my contact eh, I presume you remember me, of course you remember me!''

He sat down pulling the chair out, he always liked to act as if he was completely oblivious to grumpy and unhappy, it tended to rather annoy people even more and if Christian's presence annoyed them so much then that really was there problem.

Gormack grunted his acknowledgement and gave him a datapad before going back to fondling the rather unattractive lady next to him as he gave the datapad a look over.

'Why thank you Gormack you have given more then I asked for, so the reason I was arrested was because the Epicanthix are trying to move closer to the empire so thought arresting a jedi would help, I better stay away from them.

Gormack grunted as he moved down from the wall of text.

'So there are a few of the Followers of Palawa left but there still not fans of Jedi, oh well I'm sure they will like us, right I'm off Gormack, a pleasure.''

More grunts as he stood up and had a quick look around, Cat was no where to be seen, hmmmm. Oh well, they had some time and he couldn't of got too far.

Walking up to Casval, thinking he was Gormack, - not knowing that his master had already found the man in the other side of the cantina - Cat stuffed his hands in his pockets. The man he was approaching made him nervous - he was looking at Cat straight in the eyes. As he came closer, he wished more and more he just wouldn't stare. It was certainly enough staring to make anybody uneasy.

"Um, hi.. are you by any chance, Gormack? My friend and I are looking for him. My mas - my friend, didn't really explain what he looked like, so I do not know what to look for. I've asked alot of people here and nobody knew anything about Gormack."

The man sitting there certainly looked unfriendly. Cat tried to look as casual as possible. He wondered if the man knew if Cat was a Jedi by his robes, or his manner, or anything else Cat did. He was just thankful, again, he didn't have a lightsaber.

After hearing the nervous teen rant on about somebody named Gormack and how he was looking for him, Casval simply continued to stare and let the uncomfortable silence hang inbetween them, as he thought of how to approach this. Who was this Gormack and what would masquerading as the man gain him? It was possible that if this boy truly was an assassin and the nervousness was just a front, that pretending to be Gormack could get him killed. Well the boy would try at least. Casval was formly an Imperial Knight and had more than enough weapons to defend himself hidden underneath his ebony robes. So the danger of being Gormack didn't really deter him from assuming the role, but the benefits were hazy. He could be put in a position to gain a lot just as well as he might stand to gain nothing. Oh well. Here went nothing.

"Assuming that I was Gormack, who would be asking and why?" As he spoke, Casval let his hardened gaze sweep up and down the boy's frame, sizing him up. Compared to Casval, who was a intimidating six foot four tower of pure muscle, the teen was a twig that he could snap between his fingers. "You must understand that a man in my position stays alive by not taking risks."

Even as a young Padawan, Cat could sense the man was sizing up Cat as a weakling. He didn't like that. He WAS only fourteen, and was not at all a master at Teras Kasi - after all, that was why he and his master had traveled to Bunduki - but he could surely hold his own. He didn't want to make a scene here, but he would sure set the man straight.

"I know what you're thinking. I'm no weakling, whatever you think. I don't think you're Gormack, so I'll just move along. Perhaps my friend has found him elsewhere."

Moving away from the table, Cat spotted his master near the entrance of the cantina. He brushed shoulders with several beings before getting to the side of Christian.
"Well, master, I didn't have much luck on my side of the canti - say, you didn't have that datapad before. Did you get that from that Gormack fellow?"

''I did I did my friend and now I know where to go which has made this trip worthwhile in the end. Who were you chatting to over there?'

Christian stood on his tip toes to look over the crowd, sat down on the table where Cat had just come from was a most interesting fellow. He looked the same height as Christian whereas while Christian had a wiry strength this individual was strong in a much more obvious way and he clearly knew it and had a certain arrogance about himself.

Still, he was intrigued and he seemed to have annoyed Cat judging by the flustered nature of his apprentice.

''Let's go talk to your new friend'' He moved through the crowd until he stood infront of Cat's ''friend'.

'Hello there sir, may I inquire as to your name? I see you have already met my young friend'

Just as suddenly as the young teen had come up he was gone. Obviously his search for this Gormack character wasn't that important since he gave up on it so quickly. Then again his approach could have just as easily been a test. Maybe Casval was supposed to have given a pre-selected response and failed to do so. Who was this Gormack fellow anyways? Perhaps it was worth looking into.

Before he could chase the thought any further however, the boy was coming back with someone else. Damn being cut off from the Force! Those nice little danger warnings would definitely come in handy about now. But there was nothing to say that they meant him any harm. Two mysterious people garbed in loose flowing robes capable of hiding weapons approaching him - a man wanted by the Empire - in a "high class" catina like this filled with the worst kind of criminals in a system known to be anti-Jedi and wanting to get closer to the Empire - what could go wrong?

"The name's Thomas Cruise." Looking the man right in the eyes as he spoke, he extended his hand out in a friendly gesture. "You can just call me Tom. But I must remark on how inappropriate it is to ask for a name without first offering your own." Even as the words cascaded down his thin lips, he observed this man before him. He was tall, but he was hard to discern his body type due to the cloak he wore. He had a confident air about him though, and to be in this kind of environment it told Casval that he could probably handle himself in a fight. That could be trouble.

He didn't want to, but his master insisted they go back and talk to that man. They had completed their objective and he was eager to meet the Followers and determine if they would teach him or not.
The pair walked back up to the table, Cat looking eager to get out of the place.

"Don't let's take this to be too long, master, we've got the things from Gormack,"

After Christian introduced himself plainly, the man, apparently Thomas Cruise - Cat somewhat sensed he was lying - replied. Cat was eager to see how his master would handle this situation, he might have to use the tactic someday, and more importantly, eager to see if his master would tell the man off or not. The young padawan was still irritated, himself, about being thought of as a twig, easily snapped.

Ooc: Tom cruise......Really!? LOL

''Ah, well some would call me inappropriate, some would call me overly friendly but some would just call me a pain so I do beg your pardon. I see you have net my young friend Cat, he is a fine fellow isn't he?''

There was certainly something about this individual that didn't quite hit the spot, it was like his presence in the force was like an echo. He couldn't quite put his finger on it but his inquisitive nature got the best of him as it normally did.

'Do not worry Young Cat, we will get there in time'' Christian turned and gave Cat a quick wink before turning back to Tom Cruise..

((It had to be done. lol.))

"I see." Casval replied nonchalantly before taking a sip of his drink. "They obviously wouldn't call you by any actual name." Indicating that the man still had yet to offer his name, he set his drink back down at the table, as he watched the brief exchange between the two men.

He had an uneasy feeling about this. His earlier concerns had yet to dismiss themselves and now they were purposely acting mysterious. Were they just trying to spook the former Imperial Knight? He couldn't see what they could possibly have to gain by that other than wasting their - and more importantly his - time.

"So tell me what I can do for you gentlemen?" Like a lightsaber slashing through cloth, he decided to cut right to the heart of the matter.

"Nothing much. We found Gormack and he gave us what we needed.
What are we still talking to him for, Master?"

''Yes, Cat I know you are eager to get going but this man before us offers something of a mystery. You see under his cloak unless I am very much mistaken he has a lightsaber but from my feelings he is not attuned to the force in a way you or I are. So he could be a few things, a old jedi who has cut himself off from the force.

He looked at Tom /cruise trying to gauge the success of his guess and moved in.

'A sith who has done the same thing, a very talented individual who has killed a jedi or sith and kept the saber as a trophy or as we are on Bundaki perhaps he is a practitioner of Teräs Käsi. My name is Christian by the way my good man. Were any of my guesses accurate or was I completely wrong and you found the lightsaber rolling down the road?'

He said this with a gentle chuckle as he looked around the cantina, he did not think this gentlemen was a jedi hunter, one of those non force users the sith had taken to employ with such aplomb but it never hurt to be cautious.

Lifting the corner of his lips in an amused smirk, he simply looked down towards the table and shook his head. The Jedi was good. He somehow gauged that he had some history with the Force. Despite his guesses being somewhere off, the fact that he got that much was impressive nonetheless.

"I'm afraid that I must disappoint you." Standing up, he let his ebony robes fall from his shoulders. Standing in all of his glory Casval wore a suit of ebony and ashen gray armor shaped in the image of a demon. Holstered at his hips were twin blaster pistols. Loosely wrapped around his waist was a belt with a number of thermal detonators attatched to it. Various throwing knives were tucked away in a variety of places on his body. And lastly but not least roped around his back rested a katana safely hidden away in its sheath. But nonetheless no lightsaber. "I don't carry weapons that I can no longer use." Letting the hint hang in the air, he stood motionless looking at the two men before him.

'Oh blast, I could of sworn that was a Saber or maybe you were just astonishingly happy to see me! So now we are a bit more open about each other I must ask you a question of some delicacy. You see you have enough weapons to kit out a regiment of soldiers and we are on a world that has a past of having interesting aspects to force users.''

Christian paused for a moment, wondering whether it was a good idea to continue but it was a calculated risk based on small things this gentlemen had given and guesses that Christian had running through his head, oh sod it!

'Now you mentioned weapons you no longer use, your odd presence within the force makes me wonder if you know anything about the Followers of Palawa?''

((Have to go somewhere. Had to cut the post short.))

Crossing his muscular arms over his broad chest, Casval simply nodded, ignoring the remark about the saber. Under normal circumstances he would have ran with the joke, feigning homosexuality for the sake of humor. However, these weren't exactly normal circumstances. This man before him could still present some danger, not to mention that they were in a place filled with the worst kind of scum and the fact that he was a wanted man. Danger could come from any corner and he didn't exactly want to let his guard down.

"I know a bit about them. They're actually the reason I'm here on this planet." To go any further into why he was looking at them was a risk he wasn't quite willing to take just yet. So he left that at that, pondering what Christian meant when he said his odd presence in the Force. Casval thought he was cut off. Was it still there? . . .

'Well, we have some information as to where they are now located on this but I can see you aren't the chatty type so I will leave you to your own thoughts as myself and my good friend here have a trip ahead of us and some rather scary looking guards after us''

Christian said this as several of the local garrison had entered through the front door. Thinking on the layout of the floor that he took in when he came into the cantina he grabbed Cat's arm and pointed towards what looked like the entrance to the kitchen, he smiled at Tom cruise before he went through the crowd with his padawan with him.

''We must get back onto the streets Cat, whether that gentlemen wishes to come with us we shall see, we could perhaps use another set of eyes thanks to our status as Jedi, they really don't like us these people eh?''

Before he could say anything to the man about his equipment, Cat's master Christian grabbed his arm, trying to him something. Glancing casually at the door, Cat noticed five or six of the guards who were at the prison-tower enter the establishment. And they were asking questions - perhaps even showing pictures. It certainly would be best to get out of there.

Shuffling through the crowd with his master and trying to make sure his face wasn't seen, he entered the kitchen. The place smelled of beer and various other alcoholic beverages, but Cat wasn't quite sure how to pronounce those kinds of things.

"You're right, master. One of those patrons might tell us off to the police. We'd better get going."
Moving to the back door of the kitchen, where, near, a poshly looking Feeorin with a puffed chefs hat on sliced some vegetables, Cat looked out the door for any police. The coast was clear, and he signalled for his master to follow. He wasn't eager to go back out in the water-splashing streets of the city.

Tracking Christian's concerned gaze, Casval immediately spotted the small police patrol emerging into the catina. Shifting his eyes back, he watched the back of the two Jedi's heads as they quickly made their way out the back. How interesting. He wasn't the only wanted man here. At last - and probably a bit late - he deduced that they were actually Jedi as opposed to a couple of assassins. It was truly a relief to learn that some Dark Jedi or Sith hadn't tracked him down yet. If he was lucky, hopefully that would last for some years.

Waving his cloak back over him, he approached the guards. "I have information on a Jedi that recently came through here." The words were carefully planned. If they knew that there were two of them, it would immediately cause some confusion. An eventual conclusion to reach would be that they split up, directly misleading any pursuits. Then again, this would only be helpful if they remembered what he told them.

Before the head officer could get a word in Casval was within range. Like a viper uncoiling to pounce on its prey, the Knight's arm struck out, paralyzing the man's throat before he had time to blink. The other guards reeled back in startled shock. To their benefit though it took only a second for them to recollect themselves. Unfortunately for them however, that tiny second was all that the Imperial needed.

Twenty seconds later Casval was out of the door and rounding the building with the young corporal at his heels. It was a nice, little warmup, but that's all that it was. Six guards vs an Imperial Knight? He had them outgunned and outnumbered from the start. As he reflected upon earlier, it was not for himself that he was looking for the martial artists.

Turning the corner he spotted the Jedi pair emerging out of the rear exit. "High Commander Casval Bright." He called out to the men, as he approached. "Former Imperial Knight, now leader of an independent group of Imperials fighting against the Sith." With the proper introduction off his lips, he once more extended his hand out for the older of the two to shake.

Christian looked himself up and down the street subconsciously. Up and down the street there were a few speeders and Christian knew he would have to borrow one and do it quickly before other guards turned up, but before he put any of his plans into motions ''Tom Cruise'' was back and this time with a friend, Christian listened to his words with a smile on face.

''Now, I cannot say I am surprised even with such a unexpected story, I knew you had more to you then just your everyday walking regiment, a pleasure Casval''

He took the mans hand warmly before pointing towards one of the rather large speeders, obviously this planet didn't have much crime or the speeder bike belonged to someone who the people knew not to steal off but Christian would return it....Hopefully. The speeder had no defensive measures as Christian walked around the outside giving it an intensive look just incase before turning to his small group.

''Cat get in and fly my friend, go north from the city then we can get more specific. As you for you Casval, I'm guessing my friend that you have some interest in the followers of Palawa and I must say, you are welcome to join us in finding them.''
