C0-MDY is 2.1 meters tall and 5 tons, as he is still mostly a stock model. What is different is that, internally, he has been quite updated. He was given a new vocabulator, updated audio and visual receptors, updated I/O socket, replaced data card slot, as well as brand new (for the time) processor and personality unit. He is still a pristine silver color, with a red speech indicator light on his chest and red, blue, and yellow lights right under his eye slit. Right below the box for his speech indicator light, he has a magnetized clip-on tie almost comically hanging off his chassis.
ATTRIBUTES:
C0-MDY is a funny guy, able to make any TV audience or whoever he interviews laugh. He is quite a charmer and is always a go getter, but he is always wanting to improve. He is quote intelligent and a good investigator. C0-MDY is quite slow movement wise, only able to get up to a fast shuffle. He also does not have very human hands so he is quite limited on what he can hold or manipulate. His combat programming has also been long lost to time, and he seems to be a pacifist. This is ironic considering his chassis has been rebuilt with duranium, which has made it nearly impossible for him to do anything stealthily.
PERSONALITY:
On air, he is simply jolly and bubbly. He loves to laugh and crack wise. C0-MDY is a fun loving droid. He also is very happy with his job and is always greatful for where he us at. He loves his audience, always going off script to show support for his fanbace. He also always love to get a juicy piece of information out of someone, but won't make too much of a pull to get it.
Off air, he is still a fun loving droid, but he is not satisfied where he is. C0-MDY wishes to be more than a side show late night host. Instead, he wishes to get stories out in the field and work his way up to a famous news anchor. He is tired of giving the masses fluff pieces, empty news. He does genuinely love his fan base, and wishes to actually give them genuine information that may effect them. All he feels he needs is a chance; a chance to break out of his cage and fly.
BIOGRAPHY:
C0-MDY had started life many thousands of years ago as a war droid. His history is quite fuzzy, as he was passed around from owner to owner every few hundred years or so. He remembers vaugly he once was owned by a crime boss before said boss went down due to who knows what. He has been wiped, had new programming installed, and then had the process repeat all over again countless times. The current programming he has had is one built around a comedy personality, bought cheaply from some junk vendor or something, he didn't really ask, by a news station looking for a draw to its late night show. With C0-MDY at its helm, viewership has raised over 500% and the "The Rather Late Show" show has become one of the most popular late night broadcasts in galactic history.
SKILLS:
He is very charismatic, always able to charm anyone into liking him when he talks with them. He is also quite funny, able to make almost anyone he talks with into atleast cracking a smile. His newer aged processor has made him much more aware and perceptive, able to actually investigate what before he would have just glossed over. He is determined to get to the bottom of things, and has an unbreaking will and unbending morals. He also has pretty good dance moves too.
