Lea and Lei Swatts were busy performing repairs side by side on one of the border turrets which had recently been used on a pack of brave preditors which had attempted to rush the walls for a quick meal. Which had failed terribly with the newly repaired laser cannons. "You two, i need you to help me with a mission."

"Yessir!" they both replied at once. They were twins, and it showed. Over the walk to the rendevout point he explained the mission. "You two are fit, and capable of going long nights without sleep. Go, get ready with whatever you need, as well as a blaster rifle each, and meet me at..." He continued giving them the last details as he called the alpha unit and made his way to the drop off point.

Alexenander walked out into the meeting ground of a man he hadn't really met before. He was kind of edgy about the entire mission although a leasurely stroll was always beneficial. He didn't know his guards, which meant he wouldn't trust them entirely. Which kept him on a healthy edge. With the g-3 at his side, and himself fully stocked for a trip, he assumed they had the rations. They were the soldiers after all. Though the twins liked food. He'd almost be able leach a full meal from each of them a day, it was enough.

"Nice to see you guys." he spoke to the sergant once he arrived. "You'll know me as Alexander, head of the tehnilogical department. Are you the crew who will be accompany me an my crew?" he said as the two twins ran to catch up. Each of them were holding fully assembled Xion rifles. Alexander smiled. "So you finally made them... allright. Let's go." The twins smiled and nodded to each other, standing behind their boss ready to move out.

Staff Sergeant Torko had just finished reassembling his rifle when Alexander and his engineers arrived. Sergeant Torko was fully geared and ready for deployment, so he walked over to greet Alexander while the rest of the squad got prepped. "Nice to meet you. I'm staff sergeant Torko, and this is my squad. Private Jennings, Private Brander, and Lance Corporal Dirk. Call us Wolverine Squad." Lan said pointing at his squad. "Hey Sarge, are these the Tech pukes you were telling us about?" Private Jennings asked. "Shut your pie hole private. Without these men we'd be half naked fighting with rocks." The private put his head down and quietly finished putting his gear together.

A few minutes after the squad was all ready to go. The group marched over towards 2 dune buggies and climbed in. Sergeant Torko got into a buggy with Private Brander and Alexander, while the rest of them got into the second and larger buggy, which was made for transporting the stealth generator back to base.

Alexander jumped in the front seat with Torko, he wondered where the other man he gave the gun to was and how he was doing, but he couldn't for the life of him remember his name. "I suppose i've yet to create a standard blaster rifle for you guys!" He said speaking/ yelling over the roaring of the engine and the rush of the wind that was coming towards them.

"I should probably get on that... as well as some body armour we can mass produce...! What say you!?" He ended awaiting a reply. It was probably a good idea the cloak and dagger got a uniform, well, an armour that was theirs. Something easy to make, flexible, stealthy but strong. As well as portreying the ideals of the cloak and dagger with a professional look and style.

Alexander enjoyed the scenery, his g-3 was looking noce as they moved through the forest, somewhat keen to blast into something. He was slightly worried on how they were going to cart a stealth generator through thick forests. A hover platform would be wide, and if they couldn't get these buggies through, how were they going to get a ship stealth generator through...

This was a worry, but Alexander knew they'd find a way. Even if they just had to shoot some trees down. should be fine.

Sergeant Torko liked the idea of uniforms. "Yeah, that would be nice. But im sure command is more worried about getting us up and running over our clothing coordination. Were still a new agency as im sure your aware." Sergeant Torko stepped on the gas. He wanted this to be a fast mission. Unfortunatley tonight was a full moon, and the Acorek were especially dangerous around this time. God, they were deadly. Lan grabbed the radio and signaled the other car. Corporal Dirk was driving the second buggie. "Spped it up corporal, were on a schedual."

(OOC: Just got an idea. I'm gonna throw a HUGE monkey wrench in this. The story is gonna have a huge plot twist. Just warning ya now.

Flight captain carn suddenly jolted awake. There was a violent throbbing in his head. Carn looked around. He was in the cockpit of his transport, but the transport was stuck in thick jungle brush. All he could see out the window was branches and leaves. Carn sat there for a few seconds and looked around. He finally got up and hobbled to the back of the transport. He must have broken his leg, because he could barley walk. Carn tried opening the ramp using the keypad, but all the power was out except for 2 emergency lights. So carn opened a large box on the wall and pulled the manual release lever and the door squeaked open. Carn began to walk out of the ship but caught himself, because he was in a tree. A very very big tree. If he had taken one more step he'd be plummeting to earth within seconds. Carn turned around and hobbled back to the cockpit.

Carn began to realize the severity of the situation and began to panic. He sat down in his chair and calmed himself down. He decided the best thing to do was wait. So he went and closed bay door manually, which took alot of work, and then he went to the arms locker and got a pistol and vibroknife. He had little experience with pistols so it took him a moment to figure out how to use it. He completely skipped over the rifles because he had no clue what to do with them. He picked up a holster strapped it on his torso and put the pistol in it. He put the knife in his boot and then he walked back to the cockpit. All communication devices were out, but the ship sent an auto distress signal when it crashed.

After standing around for several minutes he realized that his co pilot, ensign lovell was missing. He checked the entire ship but he was no where. Then Carn realized that the only room he hadn't checked was the quarantine room, where the prototype stealth generator was. It had to be kept in the quarantine room because it released giant amount of unstable radiation.

Carn put his ID code into the keypad and the door slid open. There was electricity in this room because it had the #1 priority and the backup generators only had enough juice to keep energy in this room. If any radiation leaked out god knows what would happen. The room was completely white and there was white anti bacterial suits on the wall. He put one on and closed the first door behind him. Carn then proceded to open the second door. This room was small, and white like the first. In the center sat the Prototype stealth generator. The second set of doors closed behind him. On the floor lay Ensign Lovell, with his antibacterial suit on. Carn ran over to him to see if he was ok, but when Carn looked inside of the visor, Lovell's face was half fallen off and he his eyes were closed. Carn almost puked. Carn looked closer and saw there was a tear in Lovell's suit. Carn waited a comple seconds, trying to absorb what he just saw. He finally decided to try and move Lovell's body out of the room. Carn made a mistake. As soon as he touched lovells body, lovells eyes opened. Lovell had a nice shade of blue eyes, and ladies always commented on how beautiful they were. Not any more. His eyes were glowing yellow bloodshot now. Lovell's body twisted around 180 degrees and he looked at Carn. Carn was frozen in fear, he forgot he had a gun. Before Carn could even scream Lovell jumped on Carn with superhuman strength and speed. He began ripping through Carns suit and biting his bare skin, and the last thing Carn heard was the sound of his screams and Lovell eating him. At least the last thing he had heard while he was alive.

undoubtably they reached the area where they had to dismount the buggies and proceed on foot. As the distress signal they were tracking was only the automatic distress signal. It was clear to Alexander at the very least that by now, the chance of survivors was slim to none. It was the way of the world, and he had dealt with it. They should have asked to use a 'Clarent' to transport these goods, and then this entire fiasco would have never come to pass.

Sliding out of the buggy and grabbing his cane he looked into the denser bush as the rest of the 'troops' began to rally. His two assisstants came to him. They were uncomfortable around soldier types. Especially Lea, who as far as looks went, was a cut above just being pretty. Alas Alexander looked to Torko.

"Alright, no time like the present... move out." Alexander said walking for the bush, putting his weight heavily onto his cane as he moved. His two assisstants wondering wether or not he was going to wait for the guards first. But they chased after soon in hot pursuit. The alpha unit six steps behind at all times. Alexander wanted this mission done yesturday. So there woulod be no dilly dallying on his part.

Sergeant Torko grabbed the last of the supplies and ran after Alexander and the rest of the team. He sprinted to the front and jumped in front of the group. "Stop." Sergeant Torko said. The group halted. "I know we all want to get this over with, but rushing will only get us killed. Its a full moon" Sergeant Torko said pointing to the sky, "the Acorek will be on the hunt. We need a plan." Torko said. "Take a seat" He said pointing to a log and a rock. Most of them sat, a few stood. He threw a small circular projector on the ground and a map of this region of trammis III popped up. "We are here" The sergeant said pointing to the edge of the thickest part of the forest. The forest started thin, almost like a savanah but as you got to the center, the trees grew thicker and thicker. "As you can see the base is a few miles behind us, and the objective is a few hours hike from here. There's a hostile group of Bothian settlers here, and CAD has made a treaty to stay off there lands. Unfortunately they are in our way, so we will have to go around." The sergeant finished the briefing and picked up the holo projector. "Any questions?"

Keema and Forn sat on a rock. A young couple of Bothian settlers, they were to be married soon. The two sat on the rock, minding their own business. They were eating lunch. "And so, I decided to..." Forn stopped talking and looked at a patch of brush a few feet away. "You heard that too?" Keema asked him. Forn nodded at her. Forn slowly drew his shatter gun and aimed it at the bushes. For all he knew an acorek was stalking them. He slowly approached the brush, and when he finally got to it and started searching it, he found out there was nothing there. He slowly holstered his shatter gun, and turned around to walk back to Keema, who was waiting patiently on the rock. "All clea.." Before he could finish the sentence a body fell out of the trees and landed on Forn. Keema began to scream and shout as the body began to devour her fiancee. She turned and began to run, but the body moved at almost superhuman speeds. It jumped and landed on her back, and began to eat her alive. As keema was being eaten alive she thought of how her parents, siblings, and friends would miss her, but little did she know they were already infected.

Alexander sat ructantly and agreed. The plan was simple enough. He however had an order to commence. He looked to two of the soldiers and with a quick lip said quite bluntly. "Holster your rifles and give me your pistols now." thereafter he held out his hands to the two twins' weapons. They looked disappointed but they relented.

"these will blow a hole through any armoured carapace in this jungle. Trust me on that one. Give your pistols to them so they are still armed. I haven't got around to making them G3s yet" he finished handing over the two lethal rifles. "they'll pierce a tank, and operate like any other rifle." he ended but that's when the alpha droid span on alert. Alexander knew
What that meant and it was bad...

"alpha replay sonic recording at apt volume." the black evil gangan shaped droid replayed the scream of the girl. And then looked at the party. The scream was shrill and unexpected. If it were wildlife there would have been more panic. They knew what the animals here were. This was something else.

"well whatever caused THAT scream I doubt the poor girl was attacked by a large crab spider. Whatever it was, we should look for survivors. And find out what caused it. We may be under attack. Send a report, and call for backup, or I will." he finished.

Whatever that was, it's not acorek. Acorek aim for your jugular, giving you not chance of screaming. I have a feeling this mission just got a lot more dangerous. Sergeant Torko clicked the safety off of his rifle and signaled his troops to move out. The troops slowly got to their feet and walked foreward, slowly scanning the perimeter as they did.

As Alexander saw them move out, he opened radio communications to base. "This is Alexander Gando location... Requesting reinforcement. We have an unknown assailant of unknown number and strength." His Alpha unit stayed back a little, sensing through the forest as well as Alezander's eye, but whatever was in there was out of sight range. And the Forest was already rife with heat and movement.

"Sergant Torko, a friendly gesture..." He said throwing him a grenade. "Don't waste it." He laughed. It was intended to be a joke, though it may have fallen on deaf ears. But such was Alexanders' way, he was a bit of a dick in stressful situations. The twins seemed to be doing allright. Lea was paranoid and beginning to schitz out a little. But Lei was comforting her. "Don't worry, we'll be fine, Just cover these guys as well as you can, or give the blaster to me and i'll protect you."

She kept the blaster. Alexander looked back to her. "Good girl..." And they began to move through the forest, for the direct route. Perhaps they could help some of the villaige. Perhaps there were allready burning. But they would soon see.

Rhyan frowned as he listened to Alexanders distress call. Rhyan knew this would be a difficult assignment, but not so difficult that they would need backup. Rhyan looked at his holocomputer screen and slowly scrolled through images from one of the satellites orbiting trammis III. Rhyan zoomed in on the sector Alexander and Lan were in. After staring at the image for few moments he realized something out of the ordinary. The Bothian encampment was normal on the heat signature monitor, but when Rhyan switched to heartbeat sensor, there was nothing. At first he thought the satellite was in need of repairs but then he remembered a maintenance crew had just returned from their repair run not even a week ago. Rhyan frowned. Something wasn't right. Rhyan decided to send two agents to help the squad out. It seemed like overkill, but there was something terribly wrong. Rhyan tapped a button on his holocomm unit and a small blue image of his receptionist popped up. "Send up agents 9 and 14. Its an emergency." Rhyan said. " Right away sir" She replied.

Several Minutes later fully geared agents appeared in Rhyans office. They were ready for whatever mission they were about to be sent on. Agent 9, or John, a Human male around age 30 was fully geared in his jungle sniper gear, and Agent 14 Allison, a human female around 28, was dressed in her jungle combat outfit. She was covered in vibroknives and pistols and a shotgun on her back, she was a CQC expert. These two made up one of CAD's most elite operation squads, they either complete their mission or die trying, there is no failure.

"Delta squad reporting." Agent 9 said. "Very good" Rhyan replied. Rhyan tossed Agent 9 a datapad with all the information they needed about the operation. John plugged the information into his HUD, and Allison did the same. John handed the datapad back to Rhyan and noded. "You know the drill. Everything you need to know is there. Coordinates and all. Take speeder bikes. Get there fast, our men and women need help." Rhyan said. He dismissed them and Agents 9 and 14 left, proceeded to the vehicle shop, got 2 speeder bikes and left the base to go help the squad.

Alexander moved through the forest and brush. The Alpha unit beside him as well as the Swatts siblings. They began to push through, the scream echoed through his mind. What could possibly cause a scream of such unbridles horror. He didn't know what a group of people who lived so close to the wildlife here were capable of such fear. Though he was wrong.

He moved in closer, waiting for the reinforcements. As well as waiting for the blaster fire to begin. He didn't know if it would be coming toward him, or deep into the vacinity of the forest. They were only a couple of miles off. So an hours' walk at most. Less at a soldiers' pace.

"Alright, now that that's sorted. Torko, plan?" He asked, keeping the channels of communication open. He wanted to know exactly, what was goin to happen. Torko was in charge of their protection. But on the way back. Alexander was in charge of the device. The baton of power would exchange hands. And he would soon see just how different Alexander led soldiers...

"Just got a message from Rhyan, he said 2 agents will be meeting up with us soon." Lan pulled alexander aside and whispered to him. "Something's very wrong Alexander, we need these agents assistance. We still need to keep moving, but at a slow pace in hope that they can catch up before dusk."

"I agree commander torko... but i suggest we head straight for now, it's the most direct route and at the very least a path so we don't loose our footing. Got knows the tension around here is so thick if one of us were to slip we'd all die under his fire." his cockney accent playing up a little as he began walking.

"I'm already walking with a limp how much slower do you want us to go? They're hardly bringing in a tank for us are they." He began marching forward again, he doubted this supposed villaige was very far off. And at the very least it would provide with some cover and urban terrain to an otherwise scenic but boring route.
