"I got nothin' for you Dahle. Contracts are scarce these days" the man seated on the other side of the table stated, as he tried to make eye contact with the pilot. With a sigh, the pilot turned to her acquaintance. "Oh please, you gotta have something for an old friend. I saved you twice back on Bespin, and I could really use the creds y'know.." she didn't buy his excuse. This was Junkfort Station, if there was a place that would never run out of sketchy jobs, it was going to be this place.

"Well, I got somethin', but you're not gonna like it." he responded with a sigh. "Simple transport mission. Bunch of slaves need to get back to Zygerria." But upon hearing the mention of slaves, Neri already shook her head. She didn't oppose the slave trade, but she sure as hell wouldn't join in on it. "That's not gonna cut it Mason, you know I don't wanna get involved in that stuff." The pilot had gone to Junkfort Station in hopes of finding a new job. She had to make a name for herself somehow; and visiting old acquaintances seemed like a good start. Taking another sip of her Corellian brandy, Neri's gaze slowly shifted to the Sabacc tables neatly placed in the middle of the casino hall. There were, of course, other ways she could earn credits. Although gambling wasn't really her specialty, it seemed like a solid option right now.

"Well, if you've got nothing available right now, I won't be able to call it quits just yet. See you in a few months or so." the pilot exclaimed, as she stood up from her chair. Mason simply shrugged and leaned back in his. "See you around Dahle."

A tad annoyed that she was once again stranded without a job, Neri moved over to the gambling tables. Either she would earn some credits here, or find someone who did, and could get her off this station. This would've all been so much easier if she just had a starfighter, a freighter or even better; a cruiser. Taking another sip from her beverage, Neri joined the audience and decided to observe the gambling tables for a while.

Segri had heard about Junkfort Station a number of times from people coming through Underworld. Usually it had something illegal involved, but for the most part she heard good things about Junkfort Station. It was a place a person could lay low, resupply, get work and move on. In all honesty, it sounded like an ideal place for her. She had a number of locations in mind to hop around with. But for now, Junkfort was fine.

The Quad-5 landed and Segri hopped to her feet from the pilot's seat and made her way towards the exit. BG-7 was close behind her, beeping away with a bunch of questions. "Don't come with excuses now. I asked you to tag along six parsecs ago and you agreed." she said to it with a finger pointed to its dome. BG-7 merely kept beeping away. "Oh, stop worrying. Besides, you'll know if a person's a good pilot or not. I can't rely on you to do everything, I need to learn somehow as well." she went on as she exited the ship. She checked her blaster and knife on her hip, locked her ship, and walked deeper into the station.

She immediately went towards the cantina and gave a look around, giving a faint smile. It felt quite welcoming for her, being among fellow degenerates again. Despite how much she hated it, living in Underworld had its highlights.

She walked through the crowd, her hand resting on her blaster just in case. BG-7 was rolling along behind her with its dome spinning around to keep an eye on everyone. Segri's pink eyes kept jumping this way and that as she looked people over. She arrived at the bar right behind a gambling table. Sliding onto a stool, she ordered a beer and turned to look at BG-7. "Start asking around, see if you can find any pilots...just keep a low profile. Not sure yet how these people feel about droids." she instructed and the droid gave a nod before looking at the crowds of people. It whined and started to roll off to try and ask around without getting shot.

In the meantime, Segri spun around to get a look at the crowd. Already she could feel eyes on her as people started checking her out. She dared any of them to try something...

Another day another headache as is usual for Sera. Still atleast she wasn't in deep hutt space like Nar Shadda this time. Hanging out in a dusty corner of a bar that also had some unsanctioned gambling going on. She was smoking a cigarette and enjoying her quiet seclusion in the corner. No eyes were on her just how she wanted things. She was actually trying to listen to the conversations going on hoping to maybe score in on something... hmph that may have actually the first time in a while she actually thought about something like that.

Some work and a bit of pay would be a nice change of pace from the normal scav and dash affair she was used to. Her eyes scanned the tables looking around at the various people that were around from down on their luck slobs to mobbing braggarts. Her eyes however locked onto a woman and man talking at a table. It wasn't anything they were talking about but rather the energy or aura just wildly whisking around her. Faint but noticeable. Sera had to look down at her drink and back up again and did so a few more times just to make sure... great another hallucination. Atleast this one was minor.

Sera mulled about as her mind just wouldn't let go of the strange woman as she noticed she was heading to the gambling tables to spectate. A large part of her was just content to go and have some more drinks and bail before the tab came up but repeatedly a whisper was telling her to just go. Her curiousity overpowered her as Sera downed her drink and made her way over to the Sabacc tables.

Making sure to keep a few bodies between and the strange haired woman she tried to have the appearance of paying attention to the Sabacc game. She didn't participated in any Sabacc when she was younger but her time under that hutt bastard showed her what happened to those that racked up a debt they couldn't possibly repay. She knew better than to risk anything she couldn't repay but being a spectator was a much better affair. As she set her sights on reading people. Analyzing the small little moment to twitches and furrowing of brows, all the way people betrayed themselves. She sadly needed to learn in her childhood.

Her eyes kept looking back towards the woman though never making direct eye contact. She looked like she really needed to get off this rock. Sera did have the ship to do that but at the same time she would at first study this person before making a decision. This was junkfort and scum of all types resided here. It was only a matter of finding out if This person was the right type of scum she could work with.

Finally, as one of the games came to an end, a spot opened up. And with that spot, came an opportunity. Neri swiftly took place on the chair. "I'm in. Not feeling the Corellian Gambit today." Neri exclaimed, as her opponents shrugged. "Fine. You okay with the Cloud City Casino?" one of the participants asked. Neri nodded in response, as she leaned back in her chair, taking the two card displays in her hand. No matter what her hand would be, she had to remain confident. She glanced at her opponents. None of them seemed dangerous, intelligent or unique enough to pose a threat. Neri gave them a slight nod, before she turned to the droid dealer.

"Commencing Cloud City Casino." The droid dealer repeated, as her cards sprung to life. A two of flasks, and an eight of coins. A ten in total. Could be worse. Her primary objective for now would be to not bomb out, build the Sabacc Pot a little, and somehow take the game. Yeah, that should be doable. Somehow. A quick glance at her opponents got her nowhere either, all of them had put on their poker faces. "Draw." the man next to her began, pushing his credits in the direction of the droid dealer. Seems like he was gonna stay in. The droid dealer responded with a simple "Acknowledged", shoving a card in his direction. It was followed by a bit of swearing, as the man threw his cards on the table. Bombed out.

Next, it was her turn. Sitting at a ten, she had some room to breathe. "Draw" she stated, reaching deep in her pockets to get the required amount of credits. "Acknowledged". Neri bit her lip as she accepted the new card. The Commander, with a value of 12. Almost a pure Sabacc... A winning hand.. "Heh. So anyone else feeling lucky today?" She was getting cocky now; but that was all part of the plan.

As Segri sipped her drink, she started to watch the Sabacc table behind her. The woman that just sat down seemed curious, definitely not a regular. Another person joined the table as a spectator...and Segri recognized her immediately. A frown spread across her features as she eyed the woman. She wanted to up and leave, but there was something about the sabacc player drawing her. She took her drink and moved towards the table to join in the spectating. She saw the girl's hand among the rest and a small smirk spread on her features. She had a decent chance of winning.

She kept watching in silence, finishing her drink and pulling out a cigarette to smoke while watching them. As soon as the game wrapped up she slid into the seat of another player that left the table.

She glanced at the other players and ashed her cigarette. "Deal me in." she ordered the droid and it obliged. "Don't have much on me, but that's alright. Your credits will definitely solve that issue for me after a round or two." she quipped with a smug grin, her amethyst eyes darting between the players and settling on the woman.

Sera's eyes watched with impunity seeing the game begin and observing all the faces of the Sabacc players seeing what strategies were employed to hide their feelings. She could relate in a way. It always felt like she was putting on a face, hiding what facets that could expose that she was vulnerable to an opportunistic opponent. Though as the game would go on she would feel a splitting headache begin to take hold in her. Grabbing the top of her forehead as she shut her eyes her ears would register the unmistakable and loud tone of tinnitus strike through until with what sounded like a simple deep bass tone would usher in complete silence.

Slowly opening her eyes she could see that the world had disappeared in complete darkness. It seemed to swallow any piece of light around becoming a void that she was trapped in. There was only two other people present in this new realm and that was the woman she took curiosity in and a Zabrak... The one that punched her in some seedy party on coruscant. What was she doing here? Still what caused her throat to tighten and her mouth to almost dropped agape was the energy] that the two carried. She was seeing things again but with so much more clarity now. It seemed to swirl and entangle with everything that they interacted with like spider's silk from a web that tugged and pull to makes happen in just the right way. It was chaotic but beautiful. From the Sly smirk and false air of confidence the woman was radiating to try and intimidate to the Zabrak being entranced by that and wanting to join in.

"Like what you see, my precious?"

Just then Sera's entire body tightened up, her leg muscles preparing to spring into action and her heart started to race. With her eyes now wide open trying to absorb what little light existed in this weird world. Sera slowly turned her head to the right and what dominated and towered over her view was the most disgusting and dreadful sight that she had ever seen. A hutt, NO The hutt. Her breathing becoming fast she wanted so desperately to run away right now to some place she could just quiver in safety but her body refused to move.

The first round went exactly as she expected; no Sabacc shift, a small raise and a quick call to test the waters, ending in her victory. Neri knew, for a fact, that the first few rounds were what separated the experienced players from the amateurs. The few who were new to the game raised with absurd amounts, while the more experienced players played on safe until the pot-building rounds were over.

With her ever-present cocky grin, Neri studied some of her new opponents. Like last round, she doubted any of them would pose a challenge. Except for one. The Zabrak woman with the vibrant tattoos. She was gang material, definitely. "You sure sound confident sugar. Do you honestly think you can beat your's truly? Cause this is Cloud City Casino we're playin' here, and this lass happens to hail from that colony." she exclaimed confidently, just as the droid dealt all participants two cards again. Leaning back in her chair, Neri analyzed her new hand. "So I'm wondering, what brings a woman such as yourself to Junkfort station, miss...?" part of her strategy was to keep the Zabrak busy. Give her little time to focus on her hand, and she would probably end up making mistakes. But their round wouldn't even get that far. Out of the corner of her eye, Neri noticed a subtle movement she recognized all to well. "Oi, since when do we bring our own cards?" she exclaimed, as she turned in her chair to directly face one of her opponents. The bulky Dowutin gave her an angry look. "What? You think I'm cheating?" The tone of the Dowutin was threatening. "Well prove you aren't and raise your left arm" she nonchalantly replied. "Listen here you lit-" Neri cut him off mid sentence. "Unless you're afraid to show us that cardholder, of course..." It didn't go unnoticed to her how uneasy the crowd was getting, as tension started to build. The Dowutin likely had some trigger-happy friends among them, ready to interfere. Aware of the danger, Neri's placed her left hand on her upper leg, ready to draw her holstered pistol in one swift motion.

Segri took another long drag of her cigarette then blew the smoke out over the table, eyeing the woman with a smug look on her face. "I've always found Bespin gals to always have their heads too high in the clouds. Most of the time they forget how to cope if they hit rock bottom again." she fired right back, clearly only having a bit of fun with the back-and-forth. As Segri checked her hand, the woman asked about her purpose and she gave a quick glance up. "Looking for a pilot. And a good one. Though I doubt this is the place to find them." she quipped, sliding a look at the rest of the spectators, and chuckling at their grunts and glares.

The game was playing out nicely and her hand was solid. Nigh untouchable. All she had to do was play the table a bit longer to milk them of some more creds without losing her hand. Easy plan with an easy reward. She couldn't wait to see the look on the Bespinian's face...

Her eyes shot towards the man being accused of cheating, causing her left hand to drop to her holster while her cigarette hit the ground. While this wasn't anything new...the feeling she was getting was. A cold chill through her body. It was unnerving. Something was way off all of a sudden. To make matters worse, the round was up. "Cheating or not, read 'em and weep, ladies." she said smugly, hiding the discomfort behind her grin. The cards hit the table, showing her winning numbers, and she reached out towards the credits to start dragging the pile closer to her.

She didn't doubt that this would only worsen the tension. And that cold in her spine was getting to her. Behind the smirk, her amethyst eyes were already assessing who she'd have to go for first. Already, her hand loosened the strap over her pistol and drew it out slightly. Luckily she wouldn't need to clear it to start firing at the rest of the table if things went south...

"I see you still have good taste, that black and white haired delight is a devious little one isn't she... The Zabrak... well under those awful tattoos I'm sure there's something salvageable. They always got to ruin their beauty... like you have done"

She heard the words in her minds play out as the Hutt kept an unnerving stare on her. This isn't real, this isn't real, this isn't real. Was all that could play through Sera's mind. He couldn't be here, she was safe, she didn't have to go back. A battle was starting to be waged in her mind. One over what truly was reality.

"Get rid of those piercings, dye your hair and change out of that tacky attire and you can be juuust how I like you again." She didn't want to go back, not again, not to be a doll propped and played around for someone's sick entertainment. Sera was nearly hyperventilating at this point as her mind traveled back down to the past, she was different now, she couldn't go back no wouldn't go back.

"You look so adorable like that dear. She heard the boisterous words come from followed by the hutt leaning in to be mere centimeters from her face as he whispered to her. "You act like you hate it but deep down, you know you like it.

A little voice seemed to be speaking to her right now and echoing one fact. He doesn't control you. He doesn't control you. It got louder and louder slowly building into a chant that seemed to radiate energy from within. It reasonated all across her body as she could feel her hand start to numb.

"In fact I would be so delighted if you give me a nice little dance with them. You with the usual 'special moves'.

You don't control me, you don't control me, you don't control me, you don't control me... Was now chanting more and more in her head now feeling like it was her voice saying as her hand started twitching. He would not own her, He will not use her, he would not control her. She was dead set on that train of thought as she seemed to lose herself in the moment now with so much energy that felt like it could rip out of her and tear the hutt asunder.

Just as that chorus was roaring in her mind she felt something brush against her lower leg, something foreign.

YOU DON'T CONTROL ME

The thought screamed from her mind and the air seemed to crackle like a thunderbolt had just exploded and there was a blinding light.

And then as the light faded she found she wasn't in the void anymore, she was back at the sabacc table. She saw a BG series droid stutter and spasm out from the current of electricity. She felt ice cold and that there was eyes all around her staring at her. In fact any onlookers would see that her eyes were now a sickly unnerving yellow. In that silence there was only one thing that Sera's mind could register.

Oh shit

Neri glimpsed at the Zabrak opposite of her. She had a great hand, but that wasn't gonna solve the issue here. In fact, it made the Dowutin even more angry. "What now, I'm a cheater and she isn't?!" his outburst was enough reason for Neri to move her hand up her leg, until it found the trusty handle of her DL-18. Her eyes scanned around the room, observing many of the spectators do the same. She was in a really, really bad spot right now. She had no cover, just her DL-18 and no surprises ready. "Now hang on a minute, I never called you a cheater." she responded with a calm tone. She only partly kept up with the conversation, however, for the pilot knew that something was amiss. She often referred to it as her sixth sense, but she knew when things were about to go down. And now it grew colder inside the room, she could tell that that moment wasn't too far away.

Her eyes scanned the crowd again, looking for a possible source of this 'danger'. Her gaze eventually fell upon a black haired woman, who seemed to be spacing out. Neri watched a single astromech unit approach her and by putting two and two together, she suddenly realized that she still had cards to play. A smile formed on her face, as she adressed the Dowutin again. "You know what? I am gonna call you a liar, fraud and cheater." it was all she needed to say. The Dowutin was faster on the draw than her, but the pilot had timed it perfectly. The loud screech of the filled the room and the Bespinian could taste the electricity in the air. She couldn't care less about what happened though; since it had already served its intended purpose. The Dowutin was faster on the draw, but the pilot shot first. The iconic sound of her DL-18 blaster pistol initiated the shootout, as suddenly everyone reached for their holsters, filling the room with deadly laser fire. Laser fire she didn't want to get hit by.

Mere seconds after she fired, the pilot threw herself on the ground, evading the five blaster bolts aimed at her head just in time. Swiftly taking cover underneath the Sabacc table, the pilot took a deep breath. Getting out of here alive was going to be quite a challenge.

Segri glared at the man. "What's the matter, buttercup? You wanna search me?" she retorted, angling her leg for an easy draw. But things weren't getting better, and that unnerving feeling she felt was getting worse...

Her blaster left its holster when a scream and the sound of wild electricity filled the air, raising the hair on her back. She didn't even have a chance to see what happened before blaster fire started to fly all over the place. She fired a bolt at another man at the table and rose to her feet, but she didn't get far before a bolt hit her in the right shoulder and slammed her flat against the table. She slid down to one knee and braced her injured arm on the table for balance before raising her pistol to keep firing.

Three more rounds left her pistol before a shot tore through her left thigh. Not even a second later she was knocked onto her back when a bolt hit her square in the chest. The blast vest held up, but the pain was still there and the wind was thoroughly smacked out of her lungs. She laid flat, bringing her hands up against her chest as she struggled to regain her breath. On the ground, along with a few dead bodies, she spotted the Bespinian hiding under the table.

Mustering what strength she had left, she crawled closer to get under the table as well while still holding her blaster at the ready. She watched from under the table for anyone who tried to take aim at them. Thankfully the attention seemed to be a lot higher than their current level.

Things went to hell faster than Sera could process as the silence was now broken by frantic gun fire as the bar soon became a chaotic light show of death. Everyone seemed to be packing and unloading. A stray blaster bolt would be sent sizzling into her right shoulder causing her to start to twirling around from the impact. Thankfully the the blast vest seemed to be holding up. Though that first impact would be followed up by blaster bolt that impacted her in the lower back pushing her back as she lost her footing. Her brain not thinking and operating in fight or flight meant that her left hand quickly extending out and sending a bolt of lightning to the source of the bolt which was a rishii that looked to have crapped his pants.

He started spasming briefly stunned and dazed and with her right hand Sera reached inside her jacket and pulled out her dl-44. Drawing it she would send a bolt straight into his gut. During this process Sera had fallen and drifted back to under the Sabacc table barely aware of the bespin trouble maker who also took refuge under the table. Sera's eyes were more fixing on the prime selection of leg presented to as she unloaded a few a rounds into anything that moved. Adrenaline was now pumping and circulating around her body as she went hyper, quickly cranking her head and eyes around looking for anything that could pose a threat and now finally noticing her company underneath the table and a new guest joining in on the under table survival council. The karking Zabrak. Whatever she wasn't shooting at her so she didn't give a kark about it for now.

It was just now that the pain from earlier was starting to come through as she felt the burning from the residual heat left from the impact and the wind was knocked out of her as she just rested on the ground. She took a few deep breaths as she tried to recollect her thoughts and form a plan for getting out of here.

All her life, Neri had lived by a single rule. Do not get caught up in kriffing bar fights. Neri hid behind the solid wooden table leg, not firing a single bolt in the hopes that the others would forget she was here. So far, it was working. She was just going to wait until the blaster fire faded away, so that she could take care of those who remained and walk away unscathed. At least, that was her plan. Until the Zabrak woman crawled under the table.

"Why hello there, welcome to rock bottom." she stated with a cheeky grin. "For the record, I think I'm coping just fine down here." Just as she prepared to fire a few bolts of her own, Neri noticed how a third woman joined her in her little hideout. When Sera finally noticed her company, the pilot raised her hands the best she could. "Don't do that taser thingy on me, I'm not in the mood for static hair.." she said, as she glimpsed at the Zabrak. In a swift motion, Neri aimed and fired at a man behind Segri. "So... you were looking for a pilot right? Name's Neriya Dahle, gal for hire who happens to be a very good pilot." Neri exclaimed with a confident smirk. It was absolutely not the time and place to do this, but she couldn't care less. "So ladies, I suggest a temporary truce for now. Us girls gotta stick up for each other after all" Neri fired at a second man, this time one that had been floored by one of Sera's shots. She missed the head, hitting him in the shoulder instead. Not that it made much of a difference; the man would still no longer pose a threat to them. "So whaddya two think? Truce?"

The Bespinian might have been having a blast, but Segri wasn't nearly as chipper. Especially given the fact that she had two new holes in her. "Glad you're having fun." she mumbled through gritted teeth as she crawled in under the table. The woman shot past her and downed a man behind the Zabrak, though Segri didn't pay attention to that right away. "Yeah, I'm looking for one. Let's get out of here, then we can talk." she grumbled as she aimed to fire at another man.

The other woman joined in under the table, much to Segri's annoyance. But sadly she couldn't be bothered to boot the woman out at the moment, she was in way too much pain. So when Neri suggested a truce, Segri nodded in agreement.

The fight shouldn't be going on too long now. Hopefully. Segri's shoulder and leg were sending waves of pain through her and the spot over her chest was really getting on her nerves. And now she had to lie back to back with the crusty woman that now seemed to actually be a space wizard. Not that it changed anything for her. She still wanted to punch the woman.

She brought her pistol up and fired at anyone who looked like they wanted to try their luck and fire at them. But her accuracy was somewhat off to say the least. She glanced over her shoulder at the other two women underneath the table with her. They were still there, thankfully. As much as she disliked the space wizard, she was quite handy in this moment...

The table was nice almost comforting in it's own way as she looked at the tacky alcohol stained wood. Still it's safety was merely temporary someone would eventually catch on to the fact that a bunch of assholes were shooting from underneath table they needed to change that fact. Cranking her head around she notice a nice wall who's only company was a bunch of dead people. Good that would work. It was only now she realized she was being ask to truce.

"Sure. Anyways I suggest we take us and this table over there. Sera quickly pointed over to the safe pile of dead people. "On mark we tip the table over and pull it back to there, I'll blow out the lights to cause some confusion. Lets hope they wired this place in series.

Sera already started moving towards the edge of the table and braced her hand against the edge ready to push herself out. She waited for the others to get into position if they decided to go along with this idea granted in this chaos there wasn't much of a choice now. Still she waited and once they were ready and able she called.

"Mark!" Quickly pushing her body out and then using her free hand to send a concentrated bolt of lightning that lasted for several seconds. The lights quickly surged brighter and brighter before bursting and soon the entire room was now caked in darkness as Sera finally relented feeling like she had a splitting headache. She would try to get herself up but it would be sluggish as it felt like she had just woken up with a hang over. Needless to say repeatedly use of electrical current coming from one's body wasn't the most easy going thing one could go. She would have to rely now on her truce 'buddies' to now handle the fighting.

Take the table over there... Cause why not? Neri thought, seemingly being the only one who realized how heavy the table was going to be. Glancing over at Segri, who seemed distracted by her two brand new holes, Neri shook her head. "I don't like your plan sis... But we got nothin' better." she stated, reluctantly agreeing to follow Sera's plan.

Once Sera gave the signal, Neri burst into motion. Placing both hands against the table, she tipped it over and with some effort, moved it to the corner. Luckily, the thugs were distracted and Segri was with her; otherwise the pilot would've most likely been shot in the back.

With the lights gone, all that illuminated the room were the red flashes of blaster bolts flying around. With her new cover, however, there was little the pilot had to fear, as she unleashed volleys of blaster bolts upon the few men and women left standing. Once only four others remained, apart from the three women, Neri stopped firing. "Alright everybody let's hol' up for a second!" she yelled, grabbing the attention of the survivors. To her surprise, the few who remained did stop firing. "I think about 18 people just went down cause someone had a band hand in cards, okay? That's not really worth riskin' our lives over, is it?" Neri had something persuasive about her, as she explained the situation. "So if we can all just stop fighting and return to our daily business, that would be very much appreciated."

Segri had little choice. With her injuries, she didn't have any other options other than to stick close to the other two girls. So when the word was given, she tried with all her remaining might to help out. The group slowly made their way towards the wall with the bodies. Segri grunted and clenched her jaw all the way, feeling the pain pulsing with every bit the table moved. She tried to shoot a few times as they moved, but her bad arm made shooting accurately very difficult.

They finally reached the spot and Segri fell back against the bodies with a grunt. The room was dark, save for the blaster bolts flying around. Segri's glowing amethyst eyes scanned the area, trying to pinpoint where people were. But before anything could be done, Neriya called for a truce. She was thankful for her words and hoped the remaining people would see reason. "I hope my credits are still around here..." she mumbled to herself as she kept her pistol at the ready.

"Let's just stop shooting and go home! How about that?" She called out with some effort, supporting Neri's words. She just wanted a bacta pack already...

Hiding behind the table with some haggard breathing and her best attempts to assist Neri left Sera with nothing more than a desire to just fade back to dream land and hope she would win the 'don't get a horrific nightmare' lottery. Bracing on hand on the edge of the table and the other gripping her pistol. Looking outward at the crowd or rather what was left of it. The smell of blood and viscera reaching her nose as she realized just how much carnage she managed to spur with one uncontrolled outburst. Why did this stuff have to happen like this?

"If you don't want to die I'd sugge-" Sera tried to speak up and continue the chorus of reason before she found herself cut off by someone who was still alive.

"Ah hell naw! Y'all can go feth yerselfs if you done think I'm going to give you a free shot at me. You's especially crazy witch-bitch. Naow Y'all put down yer blasters and keep yer hands up, maybe I'll let you git." A Heavy outer rim accent shot back demanding the reverse from them. A current of anger shooting back up within Sera as she wanted nothing more than to eviscerate him especially for the witch-bitch comment. She looked towards Neri and Segri.

"Can we make an exception for him? Sera whispered trying to get her companions to just sponsor this one bit of murder before they can finally have peace.

“Can we make an except-“ before Sera could finish her sentence, a flash of red lit up the room. The blaster bolt traveled in the general direction of where Neri presumed the accent was coming from. A short thump was all that followed; she apparently hit something living, since someone collapsed. “Of course we can sweetheart.” Neri responded with a light upbeat tone. She hadn’t been injured by the shootout, nor was she tired. From the three of them, she was by far in the best shape.

“Anyone else gonna complain?” She threatened, hearing a couple of no’s in return. “Glad to know we’re all on the same page now.” She continued, grabbing Segri and Sera by their arms. “Ladies, we gotta leave before the other boys stumble upon this mess.” The pilot lowered her voice as she spoke, leading her two companions away from the makeshift casino.

Segri remained quiet as she laid there, clutching at her wounds. She was in pain. She listened to one of the survivors refusing to back down, which only added to her irritation. Thankfully Neriya silenced the sleemo before he could do anything more than run his big mouth.

She grunted as Neri grabbed her injured arm and yanked her to her feet. She stumbled and struggled to maintain her balance with her injured leg, but luckily she managed to keep up with the woman as she led them out of the establishment. She kept her pistol close to her chest, ready to fire if any of the survivors tried to take a cheap shot at them.

Outside Segri leaned against a wall, training her pistol on the door as she regained her breath. "We need to get out of here...and maybe find a doctor." she spoke curtly, a scowl firmly plastered on her face. "My ship is on the second docking bay around the corner. You say you're a pilot, right? Let's get out of here." she glanced at Neri, pushing herself off the wall. With a final deep breath she was ready to move once more. She felt like crap. She probably also looked like crap. She just wanted to get out of the blasted station and maybe get a proper drink without any more shootouts. BG-7 better be ready to play bartender...

"Wait! Where's BG-7?!" she suddenly perked up, her scowl turning into a deeply concerned expression as she glanced around.
