So, several months ago my family adopted a kitten from a farm (some of you may remember, I made a thread about it and posted pictures of the cat). It's gotten older now and my dad took it to the vet today, to get its shots and find out how much it would cost to have it neutered.

The vet laughs at him, and tells him it doesn't need neutered. It needs spayed. That's right. Somehow, for all these months we have been mistaking our female cat for a male.

When we thought she was male we named her Gandalf, but obviously now we have to rename her. We're going to be discussing that tonight as my sisters are coming over for dinner. I need good name suggestions that I can use to counter the horrible names I am sure my sisters will come up with. Help me SWRP, you're my only hope!

P.S: I don't want to hear any jokes about me being a furry and still not being able to determine the gender of my cat. The irony has already occurred to me, tyvm. :CStern:

A few ideas from my baby bucket*: Diana, Ran, Kim.

Other ideas: Legolas.:CHappy: Any name that references Aerosmith

*Not an actual bucket, does not contain actual baby. is simply refering to a few baby names I thought up for no reason.

No longer Gandalf the grey, now it is Gandalf the tight.

Yes, I went and found the original cat thread to ensure (the cat previously known as) Gandalf was actually grey.

I'm serious. Pancake is an awesome name for a cat.

I ran it by my sister (who has the last word, as the cat was her bday gift) and she liked it. Personally I don't get it, but that might actually end up being the name.

Mona, Ulysesss???

No, no...

But it's a girl! Seems wrong to call her Gandalf now that we know that.

Right now it's between Pancake and Joan of Arc. I tried to push for Arwen, but my sister doesn't like it. I'll keep you all updated.

Those are two rather bad names.

Call her Kitten.

Or Miss Kitty.

Reminds me when I had a cat I named Kenny. Ironic enough, he had an orange fur coat.

Lol, that's an idea. Just go for the simple thing.

Miss Kitty? She's not a pornstar. :CDumb: And Kenny is an awesome name for a tomcat with an orange coat. You rule for doing that.

**** yea, I'm good, rofl.

My sister is suggesting we call it 'Joan of Arc'. Don't be too proud of coming up with a name she likes. =P
