BIOGRAPHY:

Cen Tane was born on the planet Molavar, a hot desert planet located in the Outer Rim Territories. At a young age he began to work on his families' moisture farm, showing an aptitude for minor mechanics after getting his hands on one of the farm droids. He would spend most of his spare time maintaining the droids about the farm, receiving further instruction and guidance from his father when it came to speeders and moisture vaporators. Though the planet had shifted in and out of occupation over the years, criminal groups looking to take advantage of the hyperlane trade routes that were accessible from the Molavar system were still a common sight. Transports carrying people and cargo alike were often boarded in orbit by pirates, and the small settlement where the Tane family lived had seen it's share of extortion at the hands of Molavaran gangsters.

During the first months of his teenage years, Cen's father held a meeting with many of the other leaders of the town, seeking to recruit them in a collective effort to fend off the most dangerous of passengers and pirates.

"We should work together to defend against this common threat." He told them. "They took my wife. When I lost her, I knew I had to do something to make sure I never lost my son as well. We have all lost someone, friend or family member, to the pirates and bandits that pass through this system."

Cen had been too young to truly remember his mother, but he received many stories of her in his youth from his father. She had been an incredibly intuitive woman, the main one who had encouraged and advised his father to further invest into the business, which had led to the Tane family owning more than one, but three successful moisture farms in total.

"I will not lose my son as well." He had said. "We will stop them here. Then, we can all start again."
That was the last time Cen had seen his father. For some years afterwards, the small community of humans and alien alike had mild success in deterring the pirates and extortionists, but had suffered many losses in the process. Eventually, the pirates and bandits simply moved on, leaving the planet for long periods of time until they felt like visiting again.

Now older and with a basic education earned in a slightly more developed Malcraan city, Cen continues to work on the moisture farms once owned by his family, having been claimed by the settlement leaders upon his father's death, until he comes of age.

With that time nearing, the coming events may determine the fate of the young farmer, for better or worse...
