Character Replacement

So, long story short, I made my Jedi Master character on a whim...and he's simply too difficult to RP, so I plan on canning him.

Now, It's a little unfair I think for me to just be able to replace my master with another one a whim, so I wanted to pitch this one to other members of the faction in regards to what I should do. Regardless of rank the new character will still follow the lore specialty but will be a little easier to rp and more approachable, so i'll still maintain the Archives rp thread.

Haha, clever.

The main issue I have is his speech patterns and behavior don't really fit the character backstory, and it's very difficult to get into his mindset to RP because I have to think in such a convoluted way. If he wasn't a Jawa things would no doubt be easier, but....yeah.

Joking aside, I get your dilemma, and as your main responsibility was the maintenance of the Archives, I'm sure the librarian could be replaced without hurting many RP's. If someone's RP is contingent on you being a Jawa, you should ask them... otherwise, personally, I wouldn't be offended by a Master character being replaced by a Master character, so long as the replacement is not adjusted to counter a specific enemy or other such cheese. Which is not your intent.

I hope it's at least possible for you to not leave me hangin' in the Archives, as doing so would completely break continuity within my training (my char would have no reason whatsoever to drag his Master off to Kamino otherwise).

Don't worry - I'll at least finalize that before I replace Ixxim. The last thing I want to do is leave anyone high and dry.
