Simple. Post theme songs for your characters in this thread, and give reasons why said song fits the character. Links to songs and chars are a bonus, too.

Oh yeah, and if you want, rate the theme songs of the poster above you. Or just rate the themes if you'd rather.
No idea if this was done before, so apologies in advance if it's already been done.

Anyways, on to some themes!

For Ayda, I'd have to say Cold's song, With My Mind, is a pretty good theme. You'll see why as more of his history is revealed. Granted, Ayda can't exactly screw with things with his mind, but a good theme nevertheless.

For Jiang, hmm... It's kind of tough to pick something for him, really. Right now the best theme I can think of for him is the Battle Adagio track from the Rambo Soundtrack. Why? Because it's a very powerful, moving piece that somehow manages to convey a sense of strength without being loud or too bass/percussion heavy or action-y. And so I think it kind of matches Jiang's character; powerful without being overly loud and fast-paced.

Poknor - Hmmm, this was hard. But I think his theme song is Money, by Pink Floyd. Poknor used to have the 'money's not important' attitude, and was even generous. But as an older Cathar in the new timeline, he's developed the attitude this song portrays so well.

Od'xai - I'm gonna have to go with Dreamcatcher, by Andy McKee. It's a gentle, patient and somewhat sad-sounding instrumental acoustic guitar song. Suits him perfectly imo.

Okokeeza - Definetly The Rage of the Skullgaffer, by Týr. Another instrumental song, this one is more powerful and even overwhelming. It has a lot of anger in its sound (go figure, look at the title :p) and for some reason it's always made me think of ruthlessness and/or determination, which is what Okokeeza is all about.

Dmivotiktokalalakee - This one took some serious time to decide. But I finally decided on Don't Stop Me Now, by Queen. It has Dmivo's optimistic energy.

I would say, for my character Yirrm, it has to be Dance with the Devil by Breaking Benjamin. It matches, not just him, but almost the entire story i made up for him. His transition from young padawan learner, to knight, to a double agent for the council, betraying his task force, assassin for the council, and finally his redemption. Wasn't able to RP him until I stumbled upon this site. :CHappy:

Most of the themes for my characters are mostly just tunes from movies/games with no lyrics, dunno if that really counts or not.

Soundtrack tunes count. I did use a track from the Rambo soundtrack as Jiang's theme, after all.

Ah yes, forgot about that. So anyways...

CDR-382 - Majini III from Resident Evil 5. I dunno why, but this track always makes me think of 382, a man who is slowly distancing himself from everything that makes a man himself and more into a monster.

Valek Dagger - No Games by Breaking Benjamin. I was originally going to go with Blacken Sabbath from The Umbrella Chronicles. Yes, another RE track, sue me. But I decided that I feel more intune with the character, one who walks the middle road away from the Jedi and Dark Jedi.

Durtrak - The world that never was from KH: 358/2 days. This tune just seems fitting for the Trandoshan Jedi who thought the Ospions were a better people and eventually fell to the Dark Side and gave into his murderous Trandoshan instincts.

Thats all I can really think of so far for my major characters. Need to find one for Gorrbag.

This is always hard for me, but here we go.

For Aevis especially. I got "I Will Hide Myself Away" by Cartel, mostly because I can't figure the meaning of the song, but it's on the right track, with the loneliness and hiding from people, only to try and save them. Another is "This Is The End" by She Wants Revenge. The audio in that track is sped up and bad on it's own, so boo. Either way- about not making connections, which fits.

For Tetin, it's a little easier. Since he's into lots of technology and computers, it's pretty fitting something from Daft Punk would go nicely, with this mix being one of my favorites. Clicky. Something more serious though would be "Who I Am Hates Who I've Been" by Relient K. Not a fan of Gospel, but it reflects his regrets on his past.

And finally, for my upcoming member of the Danderfluff line, not many songs fit better than "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?" by Rod Stewart. Even better though is one of my favorite bits of movie music- "He's a Pirate."
