[CLOSED] The Basics

[Undine]

Jade knew she was having an effect on Decki, and he seemed to be moving in the right direction, even opening himself to the force. "I can sense you have opened yourself to the force, well done. Now focus on it ask yourself what are you feeling, what are you seeing, and what are you thinking. Let the force provide you with your answers." Jade paused, letting her words sink in, she then moved on to the next part of the Jedi Code.

[Hank Beast]

"I feel calm and serene it feel kinda weird and as for what I thinking of nothing at the moment" Decki said to Jade.

 

[Undine]

As Jade listened to Decki's reply, she smiled, "He is doing very well for his first time." she thought to herself. As she prepared to finish the mantra, she spoke, "Now listen to the last line of the Jedi Code, and after some thought on it, tell me what you feel it means." She recited the last phrase of the Jedi Code.

"There is no Death; There is the Force"​

 

[Hank Beast]

"I think that this means even after you die you are still part of the force" Decki said with a questioning tone as he was still calm through meditation.

OCC: I changed the purple to lighter colour tell me if you can see it.

 

[Undine]

"Correct, death is nothing more than an observation and as such does not exist. We can feel the force all around us, when a person dies they are still part of the force. It is true that the body may no longer be functional, but the spirit lives on, becoming one with the force." Jade opened her eyes so the Jawa would know she was looking at him. "Now, do you have any further questions before we continue?"

(OOC - I could see it just fine, but now it doesn't hurt the eyes to read, I'm gonna go sleep, be back on later)​

 

[Hank Beast]

"No I have no more questions and I wish to continue with the training" Decki said to Jade he bizarrely had fun doing the meditation but he wanted to see what the next training was.

 

[Undine]

Jade stood up and beckoned Decki to do so as well. They moved over to an area with more room, as Jade told the Jawa. "Next we will try to use force sense, I will move around you at various distances, speeds, and directions. Try to use the force to sense where I am around you."

As she readied herself for the exercise she noticed the presence of an Amaran, near them. She paused, "Decki give me a second.". Jade walked over to where the Amaran stood waiting. As she made her way to him, she twisted her head so the the small furry sentient could whisper in her ear. She nodded once and he left, as Jade came back to the Jawa, she hoped he hadn't recognized the Amaran from last week.

Jade stood ready to continue, "As I said before, try to use the force to sense where I am around you. Now are you ready to begin?"​

 

[Hank Beast]

"Yes I'm ready so what you're going to do is run round the room and I have to find you" Decki said to Jade while also thinking "What was that alien doing back here and what were they talking about was it about last week" Decki stood ready for the training to start.

 

[Undine]

Jade smiled, Decki seemed to be ready, and she knew this would be a lot of fun for her, although probably a bit frustrating for him, at first at least. She turned away from him, and said, "Good, now close your eyes and listen to the force, clear your mind. We will only do this for a few minutes until you've gained the knack for it. Then we will move on."

As the Jawa closed his eyes, she could feel him searching for her. She silently walked right in front of him standing a few feet from him, and controlling her breathing. After a few seconds she started to move silently to on of the trees, jumping onto a branch, she made her way higher and higher. When she found a branch that hung over Decki she ran down it till she was just over him.

With a pleased smirk, she waited for him to tell her when and where he had felt her.​

 

[Hank Beast]

Decki calmed down thinking about his surroundings and where she was sense her right in front of him a few seconds ago and the she dashed to the far end of the room going up what he thought was a tree and then she stood still.
"First you were in front of me and next you are right there" He said pointing to where he thought in the tree she was and then opening his eyes then he felt embarrassed as he was pointing at the wrong tree

 

[Undine]

Jade laughed, "It's okay, this is your first go at it, and you were right about the former. Would you care to try again, or do you want to try something else?" She jumped down from the tree, landing next to him, and waited for his response.

Jade was enjoying herself and wanted to go again, but was also looking forward to teaching him a bit of force empathy, which she had planned to do next. Both of these skills, force sense and force empathy, when combined were extremely useful for what she had planed for later.​

 

[Hank Beast]

"Wanna try it again I will probably get it right the second try" Decki said determined to get it at least once.

 

[Undine]

Jade smiled at Decki's answer, she did enjoy this. It was fun and she was helping someone she hoped would one day join her and the Order. "One of these days, we'll both be Jedi Masters, with our own padawans, telling them of how we met. I'm looking forward to the adventures well experience together." Jade thought to herself.

But she had forgotten herself, as Decki closed his eyes again Jade ran over to a boulder in the corner of the garden, she jumped on it's side using it to propel her into a nearby tree. She jumped and climbed using the skills Master Von Raythe had taught her on Arbra. She continuously moved from tree to tree, never staying in one location for more than a moment.

Jade jumped from the tree in a light drop kick intended to land on Decki's shoulder, if he didn't dodge it she would twist her body to miss him. She wanted to see if he could keep up with her movements.​

 

[Hank Beast]

Decki had his eyes closed as he concentrated as hard as he could as he noticed her running round at a fast speed he tried as hard as he could to keep up as she was jumping from tree to tree Decki just realized that she jumped off the tree and moved towards his shoulder and without thinking he moved at a fast pace to the other side of the room in a a couple of seconds "What just happened" Decki said as he opened his eyes realizing that he was at the other side of the room now.

 

[Undine]

Jade was impressed, "You dodged my attack, pretty well I might add. Not that I was trying to hurt you or anything. I was just testing your reflexes." She beckoned him to come closer again, "The next ability I want to see if you can do is force empathy. It is a Force power similar to Force sense, but involves feeling the emotions of another's emotional state. This ability has many applications, mainly whatever you chose to do with the knowledge of others emotions." She gave pause, to let her words sink in.

Continuing after a few moments, Jade spoke further explaining, "However in combat you can combine this ability with that of force sense. Together they can bring a greater understanding of one's opponent. This is a highly useful advantage which can be used to throw an opponent's mind off, unbalancing them and disrupting their focus and self-control." She stopped to see if Decki had any thoughts or questions.​

 

[Hank Beast]

"So basically when I learn this ability I can understand other people's emotions and when this gets combined with force sense it can be a really useful combo" Decki said in a short recap in what Jade just said.

 

[Undine]

"Correct, however not all Jedis can learn this ability. If you are able to use it then your ability with it will grow naturally over time, however if you can't utilize it, then that is no matter." Jade sat down and motioned Decki to do the same, "Sit as close as you can, and put your hands over mine." She instructed the Jawa, with outstretched hands, palms to the sky.

"Try to feel what I feel, ty to understand my emotions, you will know when you feel them, a force empath is someone who is naturally gifted in this area, do not be discouraged if you cannot feel my emotions. Telepathy while a much more advanced force ability, can also afford you great advantages in combat." She spoke in soft tones relaxing and clearing her mind, letting her calm nature seep out into the force, as she waited to see if he could sense her emotions.​

 

[Hank Beast]

Decki placed his furry little hand on hers and he concentrated as he was trying to sense her emotions as he was calm he thought he sensed something that was happy and another which was calm. "I don't know if I'm right but were you happy at one point and then just calm for the rest" Decki said with a questioning tone.

 

[Undine]

"Well done, and remember while this is a useful ability during a confrontation, it can also be used to avoid a fight altogether." Jade stood up and stretched, flexing her lean muscles and preparing herself for what she intended to teach Decki next. "You'll want to stretch for this next exercise, I'm gonna show you some basic hand-to-hand techniques."

Jade looked in the Jawa's direction, and asked, "Now, I can either go easy on you and we can start off slow, or we can do a free for all and I'll teach as we go. Which do you choose?" She moved into a defensive pose, her right hand drawn back at the elbow ready to strike, while she used her left thigh and forearm to shield the major areas of her body. As with her hand, her right leg was drawn back, ready to perform a backwards spinning kick. Her left leg and arms were to distract Decki, while her right leg was the real threat.

She waited for him to choose and to make his opening attack.​

Decki looked at Jade with a weird look "You're going to do Hand-To-Hand combat with me" Decki said with a cocky tone "But anyway I will choose a sparring match" As he calculated what was the priority to dodge right leg he quickly did so and he made for one of his punches aiming for her left leg.
