Dawning Hour
"Is the planetary analysis complete yet?"
"Yes, General Krstic, the spectrograph sensors have begun planetwide sweep of Mandalore and completed their preliminary scans. The gravitomagnetic-pulse modulation scans have also completed their analysis, as have the thermal and life detection nodes. We now have full geometric dimensions and lifesign readings and locale of Mandalore and it's current inhabitants."
"Excellent. Continue with the moderation... alert me immediately if the scans pick up any unusual activity."
It was a memorial day for the Sith Imperium, one of many. They had dealt crushing blow after crushing blow to the Galactic Alliance and it's Jedi Order, they had culled themselves and their ranks of weakness and through infighting left themselves with the strongest to lead and worthy to take charge. And now it was in their crusade to take what was already rightfully theirs, consolidate their power, and emerge more powerful than before, ready to continue their expanse and growth. It was the inevitable way of things, and the hour was upon the Mandalorians for them to fall to the times.
Onboard the Pantheon-class Star Destroyer retrofitted for operations as a primarily non-combative mobile observatory, named the Entropy, stood the Sith General of the Imperium, Xesyr Krstic, hovering in the exosphere over the planet of Mandalore after recently entered it's gravity well. He was one of many dispatched across the Mandalorian's sector, sent to oversee the Mandalorian's evacuation from the Sith's newly claimed territory. They were a proud race of warriors, it was not unexpected that they may even form some formation of resistance. In fact, it'd be strange for it to occur on the contrary. And that was Xesyr's purpose, his directive. He was that prevention measure - they all were - each and every one of them that were sent to oversee the entire space region's mass exodus.
"Chief communication's officer?"
"General?"
Xesyr had been fully briefed on his mission and the conditions, or lack thereof, of the Mandalorian's retreat. He knew there was a message to be distributed to the populace, after their arrival, and now was a keen a time as any.
"Play the holo-transmission immediately, and distribute it's signal across the system. Make sure to synchronize the signal's frequency with the others in the fleet across the space region to maximize signal strength. Dispatch the projector nodes into the lower atmosphere."
The chief officer nodded his head accordingly and began operating his instruments for a moment, until after several seconds, when the hanger doors at the bow of the Entropy opened, letting out four small probes that descended slightly lower into the atmosphere above Mandalore. The nodes spun rapidly in place as they hovered in perfect formation, and large lenses ejected from their sides and pointed forward, forming a diagram like image of light, which quickly then took the form of the Sith Emperor, Darth Exodeus, roughly at the size of fifty meters, with the image of him sitting on his throne.
"Warriors of the Mandalore Clans, by now, you have well known your trespassing on these worlds. And you've come to know that I the Emperor, shall no longer tolerate the trespasses of you within the realms of my sovereignty. I trust that by now your evacuations have begun, as they should. However, warriors, know this, that the worlds you stand on now are mine, and mine alone."
"They are now property of the Imperium, and even more so, of I, it's Emperor. So know that I tolerate no one's destruction of what is mine. Any resistance to these orders will be seen as hostile - any interference to the envoys sent here to oversee your departure will be seen as hostile -- any detrimental thing done to these worlds you illegally stand on, pollute with your continued presence, will be seen as hostile... and understood as an act of war."
"Heed the gravity of my words, and do not mistake them. The time left is reduced and growing short. If you do not wish to soon lie in the graves where you all now stand, make haste and depart. Your Emperor has now spoken... so shall it be."
Xesyr stared down from the bridge of the Entropy's observation deck, staring down at the holographic image and hearing the broadcasted message, even as it began to loop and repeat, playing itself over and over. The Entropy was not a battleship, nor were any of the others, unlike those on stand-by at the edge of Mandalorian Space, but Xesyr was fulfilling his purpose. This was the will of his Emperor, and therefore, so was it his.
"Captain, realign the ship's scanners and continue with the observation. All continued activity from hereon will be delivered directly to me in your report updates. Don't let even a gnat pass by without us knowing."
