Gotta leave in a few, so I won't touch on all those characters but I do see your point on a lot of those issues. I'm particularly sad to see Vodinh go since he had potential to be an awesome factor in this timeline and an awesome buddy of Yuri for future arcs. About the whole Initiative thing while I am busy atm I'm not sure if I should step up once more and offer to lead it with whomever is willing to help out.

Or if to make one last arc where the Initiative falls apart and some of its members can start the next part of the story of their characters rather than archive them.

I haven’t read all the replies, so apologies if I’m retreading on already-covered ground.

To begin with, I’d suggest avoiding creating characters in the future who you feel are dependent on someone else’s characters or just them being on the site in general. Even outside of bans, you never know when someone may quit unexpectedly. It’s always good to have a back up plan, or a story in mind that involves more than one person. Ultimately, unlike writing a novel on your own, one of the biggest parts of RPing with other people is making sure that they can be dependable in the long-term. That’s not always easy to judge, given that people don’t always see other members’ bans or unexpected personal issues (for example) coming, but that’s why you want to make sure you’re involved with other people.

Now, what I generally suggest with characters like the first two is to use your newfound uncertainty as part of the character. Make that part of who they are. You could have your character take over the Initiative, or you could say that your character is watching the Initiative crash and burn and now they have no idea who they are anymore. That provides you with an opportunity to go out into open threads and RP with other people and find a new story, changing the trajectory of the character in an organic way. That can lead to new and fun opportunities that you hadn't thought of before.

The same goes for both of the first two characters you mentioned.

As for a buddy for Yuri, refer to the new Clan Fett leader: Anastasia Louella. I think the two of them would have pretty good potential to get along.

Aye, I know to avoid that now. It was actually my first time making a character in such a way, and seeing that it was a miserable failure I have no more intentions of doing that ever again, for any reason at all.

I could consider doing that. I suppose it's the actual mystery of it all that sort of drives me away from the idea, though. The factor of present unknowns is a bit of a turn off for me. I always do appreciate the advice though Brandon, so I thank you for it. It's rather refreshing to see administrators take an active, honestly interested role in the members.

I will think about it. I haven't retired her, so it's possible.
