BIOGRAPHY

Corvus Thawne (kor-vus th-awe-n) was born to the well-off Thawne family on Serenno, not quite nobility but hardly worried about money. Corvus quickly gained the nickname "Wolfe" as a child due to his fascination with the howling of spine-wolves at night in the forests near his parent's estate. Both his father Faust and his mother Aynoor were high profile lawyers, often travelling and leaving Wolfe without a strong relationship with either. As a result he became very lonely and disinterested in his "boring" life, leading to a penchant for getting into fights at school. The young boy cycled through several private schools because of this, despite being a fairly good student when he was engaged. Wolfe finally settled down during his later teenage years, instead frequenting bars popular with bounty hunters as he looked for a way off world. When he was 18, he met a seasoned Zabrak bounty hunter named Dovar Uata who agreed to take Wolfe under his wing; the young man promptly left Serenno without a word, leaving his family and old life behind.

Wolfe trained with Dovar for just over 5 years, tracking down bounties and taking the occasional mercenary job when opportunities arose. Dovar was eventually killed on a job tracking a rogue bounty hunter who'd swindled the Hutts, leaving his ship and remaining gear to the Serennian. For the first time, Wolfe felt the pain of losing the one person he'd ever really cared for and felt cared by, resolving never to allow himself to feel that way again. Striking out on his own, Wolfe became accustomed to running single-man jobs so as to avoid becoming attached to anyone else.

Personality

Wolfe is naturally charismatic and has no problem engaging with others on a surface level, but keeps anyone he meets at an arm's length. He's generally suspicious of others and untrusting, whether he truly believes nobody could ever care to have his back or if it's a poor coping mechanism he's developed to push people away. He finds politics and philosophy to be boring and mundane, instead engaging with any mercenary work that sounds like it might be a challenge to keep himself engaged. Wolfe enjoys the thrill of a hunt and the feeling of danger, the only times he feels truly excited.

Skills

• Blasters: Wolfe has trained himself to be as accurate as possible with blaster pistols, his weapon of choice, and continues to use any opportunity he can to hone his craft.

• Piloting: Wolfe would never be considered a truly exceptional pilot, though he's had to develop the skill in his line of work where dogfights aren't uncommon.

• Swordplay: Wolfe's mentor, the Zabrak mercenary Dovar, favored vibroblades in combat and took it upon himself to train Wolfe in the intricacies of melee combat. He's about as good with a blade as an experienced Jedi padawan.
