The blaster bolts seemed to stop in frequency as the young female force user got closer to Shaw. Well they didn't seem to be too braindead, realizing they could easily hit her by accident after her charge. Speaking of which that didn't seem to be very well for her, Jaster could feel the fear rolling off of her. The interior of wall would be filled with Jaster's laughter as he let their fear fuel his power...they should have kept firing at him. Now that their opponents seemed to be focused primarily on Shaw it was time for Jaster to have some fun.

Using the force he gathered earlier and fueled by the fear of his foes Jaster focused on the 2 blaster wielding opponents, letting the dark tendrils of the dark side snake into their minds. At first it would be prodding finding the weaknesses in their minds. Once found they would begin to hear laughter...never ending laughter. At first they wouldn't be able to tell where it was coming from Jaster himself or in their minds. Then Jaster would raise his hand and begin a full assault on the 2 minds. He would bring their worst memories to the for front of their minds and amplify them.

For Mark it would the the abandonment by his father. Mark would hear jaster voice in his mind and flashes of his memories.

Ah poor little Marky! The old man never seemed to have time for his wittle boy. Well I know why you're father was never around mark...want me to tell you. It's because you were a disappointment Mark. You could never be strong enough, brave enough to follow him into battle...admit it kiddo...you're NOTHING!

Jenton on the other hand would feel all the emotions of when his mentor was left crippled.

Oh Jenton sweet ride your mentor's got there! Traded out those useless old legs for it too. Now why would that be I wonder...Oh I know why. You failed Jenton him Jenton...you should have been there to help him. You abandoned him Jenton!

He wasn't sure the willpower of either of his targets, but from what he could tell they didn't have much in the way of mental barriers. He laughed as he continued to toy with their minds. Even trying to break the Jester's concentration would prove difficult as Shaw still stood between the republic forces and himself.

the grinning skull on the man's face was a perfect depiction of how he felt at that moment. he was death, destruction and the end for this girl. she was afraid and he didn't have to be force sensitive to know it. every line on her young face depicted her feelings and her companions felt similarly. she was a dozen meters away but he had his blaster leveled at her face and to him it may as well have been pressed against her unblemished forehead, right between her eyebrows. they threatened and commanded him to stop but that was just as bad as begging. she didn't look to be like a normal jedi, which meant she probably hadn't had much experience considering her rookie mistake at charging into the line of fire as she had.

the armored man doubted she would be able to deflect one bolt from the double shot blaster, she probably didn't even know it fired more than one. her friends wouldn't be able to save her, she still stood between the two of them and they had in fact exposed themselves even more so now trying to call her back to safety. he had made up his mind, and pulled the trigger, twin bolts of energy leapt forth from the emitters of the weapon, headed straight for the head of Eris. the human male wondered how her friends would react.

Mark watches as the Sith fires at Eris's head. Without thinking, Mark furiously squeezes the trigger and let's his rifle release some bolts right towards the Sith who most likely won't be able to block it - not easily.
Suddenly, before Mark could do anything else, Mark receives a sudden head ache and hears laughter. He can hear a voice tormenting him and calling him a failure to his father.
However, Mark has a feeling it is the other Sith and aims his rifle at him. He yet again squeezes the trigger but his bolts being released from the rifle go everywhere as the headache is causing him to have a worse aim than usual. Mark hopes Jenton will be able to do something to help.

Jenton directed a wave of energy at the blaster in the man's hand. Just as it pushed his hand down, Jenton's head started pounding. A voice rang out in his ears, yelling at him that he had failed his former mentor. He pushed it to the far corners of his mind to focus on the situation at hand, though it was still present.

A sharp, burning pain shot through Eris's neck. She stood still for just a moment before falling backwards. A distant voice screamed her name. Her hand moved to the wound on her neck.

Jenton aimed a telekinetic push at Shaw, with the intention of getting him away from Eris. He then used the force to pull Eris up and out of the trench. Once he had set her on the ground, he ran over to her and fell to his knees beside her. She looked up at him, breathing heavily.

"Eris, c'mon, you're gonna be alright," He said, "Look at me, it's okay, you're okay." He looked up at the soldiers. "GET A MEDIC!!" He screamed, "WE NEED A MEDIC OVER HERE!!" He then turned his attention back to Eris, "C'mon, Eris, hang in there!"

Eris stared up at him, rendered mute by her wounds. She breathed in short, sharp gasps, like she was drowning. Then she fell silent, her eyes fixed on the sky.

"Eris? Eris, c'mon," Jenton shook her once, "No, no, no, no, Eris, c'mon, don't do this," He started to shake his head, furiously, his voice cracking as he tried to deny it once again.

Jaster smiled from ear to ear under his mask, as he felt his manipulations beginning to take hold. He knew it was only a matter of time before their minds would be mush, but then little solider boy started firing wildly at the 2 Sith. Most of the bolts could be deflected by shaw or slam into the surrounding walls, but one bolt managed to get past. The bolt slammed into his right left shoulder and he takes a step back, his concentration being broken for a moment. Anger fills his being.

How dare that little runt I'll make hi...oh what's this

Just as the bolt hit the Jaster, Shaw released his own attack against the pretty young jedi girl. He watched as she fell and laid there, bleeding out. Oh how Jaster laughed. He would laugh and laugh feeling poor Jenton's rush of emotions, the pain, the hopelessness. The Jester would feed from him and his own pain radiating from his shoulder; and he would focus his mind manipulationg 100% on the jedi as he held his sister. Amplifying the negative emotions and adding telepathic taunts as he did so. He would hear Jaster practically screaming in his mind.

It's your fault Jenton! She will die because you couldn't protect her! She will die hating you! Hehehehahahahah!

All the while the laughter in Jenton's head would grow louder and louder until it was internally deafening. Now all he needed was time, which he figured Shaw could by him plenty of now that the girl was down for the count.

there was a surge of feeling, fear and instinctive protection that emanated from the larger and older male that opposed the sith. but that was only registered as Shaw's brain had already pulled the trigger, sending twin bolts into the girl's neck. not the shot he had intended on taking but she would still die. even if they got her out in time she would unlikely be able to recover if submerged in bacta.

a blaster bolt glanced off of his right pauldron armor, not even making him stagger but it snapped him out of the murderous focus he had acquired. a blink later he sensed opposition from the same one that attempted to see to the wounded girl, Eris, her name was Eris. meanwhile Jaster laughed behind him enjoying the scene. the armored man raised both arms across one another in an X to ward himself against the force push which made him slide a dozen meters back but his feet stayed grounded. now he stood only a few meters in front of Jaster. recovering from the emotionally fueled offense from the jedi he fired the last few shots toward the younger male only to keep him in cover as well as bat the only blaster bolt that came close again to hitting him as he was firing blindly from cover.. if he popped out he would risk taking the shot but he too seemed to be worried about the state the young girl was in.

"If you're done with your party toys why not set up some of mine for me?" he said maniacally indicating his own explosives which he hadn't yet set up because of the distractions from the enemy. they resided in his backpack that was still on the floor from where he has let it when he had been setting them up. his current focus was on continuing to cover his cohort as well as terrorize the remaining opposition.

Mark, who is too busy keeping his eye on the Sith, notices that the Sith has certainly taken the shot at Eris. Jenton runs to the scene and takes care of Eris who is probably alive especially judging on how Jenton screams: "GET A MEDIC!"
Mark, for a moment, stops firing and briefly turns to check on Jenton and Eris - Jenton seems to be taking care of Eris. Mark suddenly isn't able to fire his gun anymore. He squeezes the trigger a few times but nothing comes out. "Dammit!" mutters Mark who grabs cover behind some of the wall's frame - it isn't awfully large as far as they go but enough to keep Mark in good and safe cover.
He then searches through his pockets to soon enough, and too his luck, find some fuel. He then opens up a container within his rifle and puts the fuel in. He then closes it and then turns around back to the fighting.

Mark peers round the corner of the cover to find some charges having been launched at him from the Sith. He winces as one of the bolts hits his shoulder and, partially due to him getting to a safer position and partially due to the impact of the hit, Mark returns to cover to see to the wound.
A hole has been created within his uniform right on his shoulder to show enough of the damage Mark needs to see. Some smoke is coming off of it and it has clearly been burnt. Knowing there's nothing he can do about it in the meantime, Mark peers round the corner again and finds it a bit trickier to aim down the sights due to his shaking arm (due to the pain).
"If you're done with your party toys why not set up some of mine for me?" the Sith maniac says.
Getting a bit annoyed and desperate to get this all over and done with, Mark yells, "Down with the Sith!" before firing multiple bolts directly at the Sith maniac.

Jenton knew Eris was gone. "No," He begged, "No, no, NO, NO" His voice crescendoed, filling the air. But no matter what, nothing would change the fact. The Jester's voice rang in his head. He winced and squeezed his eyes shut. What if it was right? What if she had died hating him? He shouldn't have let her come here. He should've just told her to wait in the ship as soon as the battle started. Now, she was dead, and it was all his fault.

Shaking, he closed Eris's eyes and bowed his head. He gritted his teeth as a tear ran down his face. He wiped it away with the back of his hand. Mark's rallying cry grabbed his attention, and Jenton looked around, then back at Eris. There was still a battle to fight, and there was nothing he could do for her, so he got behind one of the blasters. Angry and determined, he directed his fire at the Sith who had killed his padawan.

Ah now they were having fun! Jaster was impressed with Jenton's ablity to fight off his mental assault...ah that one had training no doubt. He had to have lost his saber, thus he was firing at them with a blaster rifle. Well still just Shaw, which was making Jaster a bit annoyed. They didn't seem to see him as much of a threat...he needed to fix that.

He began to gather the force to himself again, this was going to be a much more concentrated attack on Jenton, one not designed to break his sprit. More of a blast of telepathic energy directly to his mind designed to confuse and stun him. Jaster raised his hand and let the mental attack fly, a splitting headache and blurred vision awaited Jenton if the attack was successful.

the man's blaster pistol was spent for the time being though he had more ammunition he decided it would be best to not reload one handed and instead focus on defending against the flurry of attacks. the opposition had waited a moment to reload he assumed by the gap in fire. now he focused more of his attention on the damaged walls and ceiling of the hall that was at the corner of the access-way. "Really? can you be any more cliche?" he responded to the young man's battle cry.

he was attempting to pull down the already loosened and weakened structure which current state was due to the handheld explosive he had cast earlier. now all he needed was a moment of sufficient strength and focus to cause a cave in at the corner's location. again this wouldn't likely cause any death if the shifting ceiling gave away the following events but it would fill a few meters of the hallway all the way to the top so the enemies of the two sith wouldn't be able to continue attacking them. not only this but they would have to find a totally separate long way around to their position meaning they would have to give up time trying to find the dark siders while they finished setting up the explosives, at least that was what he assumed they would do unless they wished to attempt a rescue of the too far gone youth. if they stayed at the corner's location they ran the risk of being caught in the cave in and either death or entrapment, not to mention all the dust could have long term effects on their respiratory systems since they lacked respirators.

Suddenly, the weakened structure of the wall starts to slowly topple down - not doubt the work of the Sith who looks as though he is concentrating hardly. Mark, who is having to decide very quickly, comes to a conclusion. As the structure begins falling down, he yells at Jenton, "Follow me!"
Without Jenton he can't do this after all he doesn't exactly have a lightsaber of Force powers which will be required to fight the Sith now rather than just blasters.
Mark, knowing he is doing something extremely risky, jumps out of cover and charges down the corridor. He pretty much prays Jenton is following for if he isn't, life as Mark knows it will be over. Mark continues sprinting as fast as he can down the corridor, keeping his head down in case he got hit by a bullet or anything. Mark then dives forward. He lands with a decent distance between the destroyed structure behind him. He looks up briefly before jumping up onto his feet. The Sith are a few metres away from Mark and hopefully Jenton who Mark has yet to check he has followed him.

As the wall started to crumble, Jenton tried to hold it up as long as he could, to buy himself and Mark more time to escape. He walked backwards as he kept it just inches above their heads. Once he was to a certain point, he turned around and started sprinting. He didn't bother to look back, he could hear the structure coming down behind him. He got away just as the last of it fell. He checked for injuries he may have been oblivious to in the spur of the moment. After finding nothing, he turned around. The two Sith were not far away. Jenton found himself seething. It was a very acute anger, directed at the masked Sith.

"If we happen to get the upper hand here," He said, quietly, to Mark, "Skull face is mine,"

This was what the Sith did--they killed. They destroyed. That was why they had to be taken out. Jenton no longer doubted this. So many lives were at stake because of them. Jenton made a decision: he would bring down the Sith.

And he'd start with Shaw.

Before Jaster could complete his mental attack against Jenton, Shaw just goes ahead and brings the ceiling down near their opponents. Jaster laughs and puts his arm around Shaw's shoulder.

"Oh good show old boy, not often you see a performance that brings the roof down hahaha."

The Jester's mirth is cut short as he see's their 2 opponent's somehow made it through the rubble. Ok now these 2 were getting annoying. Before either could recover from their near escape from the rubble, Jaster would pull 2 of his razor sabaak cards and both at the solider boy Mark. They would be coming incredibly fast and almost impossible to see in the dimly lit and now dust filled corridor. They would connect with his chest if not avoided.

the soldier bolted around the corner as the ceiling weakened though he didn't increase the intensity of his manipulation of the structure. but he was surprised when he saw the older gentlemen put up some resistance to stave off the cave in time for them to make it through. apparently the girl must have died since the man doubted the girl would have been left. now they were separated from means of escape unless they wished to go through the sith.

once again dust had filled the corridor and he felt the act of camaraderie briefly from Jaster only to be given up as the jester saw their opponents had survived the destruction behind them. it didn't matter to the morbidly dressed man who resumed smiling. if they had fled then they would have been left to the two sith would have been left to their devices but the courageous characters before them had decided to rush them instead.

he hated fighting droids or indifferent people, but these individuals smelled of frustration, anger, fear, pain and desperation. it clung to them like the sweat in their clothing fibers and it was like succulent. sensed the motion of Jaster's exasperated throws as he cast something down the hallway to the gallant duo. meanwhile the armored man stared down the bearded man only to throw a blunt force push towards him to knock him back more so as an immaterial punch and not to kill. he liked the feelings emanating from his foes, to which he just took absolute delight. "Looks like they want an encore."

Mark is surprised they have made it and is rather terrified upon the sight of the nearby Sith. Assuring himself, he starts thinking, "Think of making Onderon a safer place again. Think of how proud dad would be-"
Quite hard to see, two razor sort of cards come hurling towards Mark. Mark dives over to the side, luckily avoiding the cards before getting up and shooting at the Sith who threw them. It appears Jenton is more than happy to deal with the other Sith: the one that killed Eris.
After having released a few rounds of gunfire towards the Sith he notices the bombs that are already set out. To find a way to get to them would be extremely useful. The only problem is that he'd have to be weary of setting them off with his shooting - something he didn't do and was lucky to have not done damaged the bombs earlier.
The only thing/person that stood in between him and his objective was the Sith. The Sith seemed to have some tricks up his sleeve and had the Force along with a sword that could cut a limb off without any problem. Mark just keeps firing and awaits to see what the Sith has to do next and if there is anything Mark could do to either use that against him or counterattack.

Jenton stumbled backwards just slightly at the force push from Shaw. He regained his balance and stared at him, watching his every move. He held his hands out and directed a strong push at the Sith. If it hit him, it would shove him into the walls with enough force to crack a few bones. Once this was done, he looked at the other one, whom his instincts told him were the source of the mental assaults. He casually aimed a flick that, if successful, would send the jester flying into the air.

He noticed Mark shooting his rifle at them, then he noticed the bombs. "How hard would it to be for them to rebuild these walls?" He asked Mark.

Well he was quite the nimble fellow wasn't he, little Marky. Jaster ignites his saber, the violet blade deflecting Marks fire, as Mark didn't seem to be aiming at any part of Jaster in particular. This was getting him nowhere. He got an idea, as it seemed that mister Jenton was fully focused on Shaw, his delightfully evil cohort. As Mark fired his last shot Jaster would now concentrate as Mark fired his last shot, calling the force to himself and angling his saber to reflect the shot at Jenton. The reflected bolt would hit Jenton just as he threw the force push at Shaw, if Jenton didn't move the bolt would strike him in the stomach.

Dodge that one Jenton ol'boy hehehahahah, Jaster thought to himself.

After the Deflected shot Jaster would keep deflecting more of Marks shots, even he knew he couldn't keep this up forever so Jaster sends a quick wave of phsycic energy toward Mark, just enough to disorient him making him feel a bit of vertigo.

the same as before, the man responded to his own force attack in kind though with much greater ferocity. what the skull faced man had done was a force equivalent of a punch but Jenton had attempted to do a full body slam. it was slower and more obvious his intentions but as before he warded himself with stability and grounding himself, skidding back a few more meters with his arms crossed.

now jenton would be extremely tired, he had used a great deal of energy using the force to ward of Jaster's mental attacks as well as try to overpower the human sith with shear force of will. but this was draining and this man didn't understand that the body couldn't use the force without repercussion. the cave in as well as his own more direct attacks and the loss of his comrade were any more hindrances he was surprised he was still standing with such stalwart determination. but again he would not be able to go toe to toe with either of the sith since they had both been using their influence minimally, especially the armored sith who hadn't been playing mind games as Jaster had.

the soldier seemed wounded but equally determined. his only strain was physical but the remaining jedi was mental, spiritual and physical as well. he was a fool if he thought he could keep it up. it would literally be the death of him in this case which the alabaster masked man would happily reap. after blocking the brutish force push he would draw a second lightsaber from his belt, igniting it and charging into the one known as Jenton. the blaster bolt that Jaster had deflected would catch the jedi before he got to him even though he seemed to be ready to use more force energy toward the jester. if he wished to go through with flicking Jaster he would most likely take the deflect blaster bolt and be unprepared for the ghoulish sith ready with two blades to dice him up. but he was not a complete berserker, he had his blades ready to also protect himself if Mark wished to stop directing his attention towards the jester and towards the morbid marauder that was heading towards his older comrade.

Mark's partial gut feeling was right. His dad had certainly underestimated the Sith. Mark slightly did too. Mark had finally come to discover the Sith were more than he'd thought. With one of them pushing forward and aiming for Jenton and the other deciding to harshly torment them whilst fighting many would lose hope. Mark, however, won't.
Admitting to himself that this could be a move he regrets or may even not have the chance to regret, Mark stops aiming at the Sith and moves his aim towards the unfinished bombs they have set out. It'd be risky move to shoot them but, if the gods of luck were in their favour, the explosion could keep to minimal damage and not take out the entire structure.
After the bolts had reached the bombs, some of them at least had gone off. Some explosions started being set off and caused the ceiling down the corridor to collapse along with the walls. Mark dives back slightly in hope of avoiding some of the explosion and hopes Jento will follow. He may have let the Sith won but as far as he could see he'd destroyed the part of the structure - maybe enough for this part of the wall to collapse slightly but not the entire wall to blow up therefore creating a psaageway for monsters which he assumes the intent of the Sith mission is.

Jenton dove to dodge the bolt which the clown-faced Sith had reflected from Mark's gun. He rolled once before jumping to his feet. Almost immediately, he staggered. His legs turned to lead, and any ounce of energy was fading fast. Then, Mark started shooting at the bombs. Though Jenton's energy was compromised, his awareness was not. He got behind a rifle and shot at the bombs as well. When they went off, he lept out of the way of the explosion. Some debris hit him, but it wasn't enough to cause any serious injury. He lied on his back for a moment before getting back to his feet.

Suddenly, Jenton had an idea. "Can you call in reinforcements?" He asked the soldier.
