Dark Cloud and I have been throwing together an Rp that could potentially involve most of the main factions and any indy character looking for a quick job. The basic rundown is that an unaligned Force sensitive was transporting quick the cache of crystals when the freighter carrying his shipment went missing. He traced its final location to Dxun and hired a few mercenaries to retrieve it. But there's a catch. Some of those mercenaries decided that they could get more if they kept the crystals for themselves, so they spread word of the shipment, looking for willing bodies to help their search. So the original search was split into parties, with potentially countless characters deciding to get involved.

The idea is to get as many characters as possible in as many parties as we can. I'm going to ask Santoro about having a team of Taung already at the site, dug in to prevent anyone else from taking a hand in the shipment, securing it for the Hutts. Then I want to see if Sree is willing to sign up a team of Jedi to go in, and then whether or not some Bogan would like to take a hand in it as well.

Depending on how many people are up for this, we can have either a single thread or a string of them. If we get enough parties then we might end up having a decent number of PC duels, which could either be incredibly fun or antagonizing if it devolves into bitchfests.

Unfortunately, the Bogan right now are in the awkward position of being between homes, so for awhile, for IC reasons, missions away from Conscio can't yet be authorized.

I'll have to talk to Santoro about that. There's a major security risk in them being allowed to leave Conscio for Hutt missions and battles (they have dual-faction membership and all). They'd either have to take a break from the Hutts for a little while or have zero knowledge of where the Bogan moved.

So that's a possible total of six. That makes two independent parties, awesome. Anyone else? I would rather not have to resort to a pointless fight against NPCs. It just doesn't have the same flavor as a PC duel.

It depends on how many members of each faction join. Some of the independent characters will have to group together with others if only because there's safety in numbers. I'm assuming that each party will have three to four members in it at least.
