So we have a skype chat up and running, anybody who wants in, add my skype so I can add you to the chat > abbie.aileen

or let me know your skype name.
I'm not online atm but you should add me to that. If/when I make another character outside of my indie it'll definitely be a Sith. I'm pretty sure that I already have you on teh skypes. :3

@Dakota Are you able to update the OP to show the characters which have been designed thus far?

Alright guys, I put in around 3 hours worth of time into this reading through every workshop thread for Sith characters. Recognize that by being on this list you are not obligated to join this faction. But remember, your work is recognized! I especially liked the diversity that the Sith have, with numerous non-human races and a fairly balanced gender makeup, even some transcending the traditional gender dichotomy.

To those who follow this thread actively and seek to see the Sith flourish, reach out to the names you haven't seen on this list before. Comment on their works in their workshops, get to know them, make this faction into a community. I also strongly recommend that all Sith actively try to get involved in the
Six Degrees of the Force project @Aberforth is working on; this fantastic project really encourages people to try to diversify the number of people they know. To those who have not created a character, check out other people's stuff, I'm sure it will help you decide where to go eventually!

If you feel you are on this list in error, respond to this post either through quote or tagging me, or message me some other way and I can remove you.

Now, by the numbers; the Sith currently have 23 characters designed, 2 people have created both Sith and another faction, and 21 people have expressed interest but have not put up a character in a thread within the DOTR workshops. This compares with the Jedi, who have 24 characters linked on their respective OP and 8 people who have expressed interest but have not posted characters to their thread. This may not be updated and is certainly not representative of the total interest - they also have two threads for pre-DOTR RP currently underway in the Diverse RP subforum.

Also, inquire about our Sith Skype channel!

Remember, undecided guys, you are recognized and loved <3 Go Sith, we have chocolates and passion.

The Sith vs Jedi numbers are a lot more even than I had thought, at least in terms of posted characters.

@Saul Def count me and Samar Karnus in.

Edit: Also looking to touch out to see if anyone would want to work with Samar, apprentice or otherwise.

@Saul stop doing any kind of work to make the Sith a community. Just let us sit around complaining about how each other aren't Sithy enough or too Sithy.

@Saul FYI I already have my Sith character ready in my workshop thread and I expressed many times that I'll keep going as a Sith next timeline. Plus I'm in the Skype chat. Why would you think I'm undecided still, is beyond me.

Oh it's in the regular workshops section in case you didn't check btw. Not DotR.

Will do :)

I'm fairly sure the Jedi have more people that their thread suggests. That said, the Sith have far more people than are active in this thread alone.

"Undecided" would probably have been better written as "Undetermined." I initially was working on this in Notepad and sifting through this thread and that was my catch-all phrase for people that hadn't posted links to characters. I also wasn't going to distinguish people based off level of commitment, because then I'd invariably misrepresent many people. I'll go find the character and link it up in the post. I also realized after I had a dream about it that I didn't go through the Character Showcase thread, so I'll do that, too.

I might change idea about making a Jedi Padawan and make a Sith... |X

There are way too many Padawan with the same backstory... It is getting ridiculous. -.-"

Furthermore, I feel like there would be a lot more fighting and action RPing as a Sith than a Jedi.

And you people really do look more active... :')

I'm actually looking into doing the same. Turning sides yet again.
My Jedi was going to go rogue anyway.

You can go ahead and take me off this list unfortunately. I've decided that I won't be joining the Sith this time around. Clara will be an indie to fit my schedule better. Sorry, boys ;P

That's unfortunate, but good luck to you on your adventures!

Added Haro's Sagara Misaki to the Sith character rost and removed him from Undecided, although it's still a WIP he let me know he's on for the Sith :)

POSSIBLE SONG IF I GET AROUND TO IT
NEW%20NEW_1.jpg
TYCHUS VOX

NAME - Tychus Vox
NICKNAME - The Mountain
FACTION - The Sith Lords
RANK - TBD
CLASS - Warrior
HOMEWORLD - Korriban
FORCE SENSITIVE - Yes

SPECIES - Human and Cathar Crossbreed
GENDER - Male
AGE - 28 Standard Years
HEIGHT - 6 ft. Exactly
WEIGHT - 210 lbs.

PERSONALIY

The one word that would describe the man best would be driven. Tychus holds himself to a high standard even more so in recent years. Prideful and confident in his abilities Tychus can be prone to being arrogant, cocky and brash. While not often outwardly rude, Tychus enjoys taunting opponents and never fails to remind those beneath him of their place. This has often led to altercations between him and others within the order, something he looks back on and chuckles about from time to time.

The face that he presents the world is cool, calm and collected. While his biggest ally lays within his physical strength Tychus is viciously intelligent and is just as happy solving problems with his mind as he is solving them with his fists, Lying comes naturally to Tychus, not through fear, but through necessity and while he understands the need to talk to others he does not enjoy general conversation. Finding it both pointless and cumbersome Tychus sees time wasted as potentially missed opportunities.

Tychus hides his true self well. A man totally devoid of emotions such as love, compassion, kindness, generosity, mercy, warmth, guilt, remorse and sadness. For all intents and purposes, Tychus falls under the bracket of a secondary psychopath who finds more negative emotions such as anger come much easier to him. While he is not intentionally cruel Tychus has a low tolerance for nonsense and weakness, this combined with his low threshold for discharges of aggression and violence causes him to sometimes changes from the calm Tychus he shows the world, to something much, much darker.

Obsessive, compulsive and meticulous in his training of body and mind, Tychus devotes and exceptional amount of time throughout the week to self-improvement. Eclipsing even the most committed and mindless zealots of the Sith Order. He finds moments of clarity in lightsaber practice and tests his willpower through rigorous trials of his own physical strength. A bold, brave and courageous warrior Tychus displays no fear when facing his enemies on the battlefield. Believing battle to be the epitome of strength, there is no place for weaklings. A platform in which only the strong survive he relishes in the dominance and destruction of those who challenge him.

Tychus fully believes that with his drive to improve himself, that it will inevitably result in his ascension to powers beyond the average could dream of, maybe even to the pinnacle of success where he would lead the Sith into a golden age, reclaiming the known galaxy where he could rule with an iron fist.

So this is the starting point of my Sith. It still needs a lot of work, I haven't don't anything other than the personality yet! however I was hoping to get some critique regarding what I have done. I wanted to move away and challenge myself by writing a larger section on personality and appearance if possible.

Anyway! hope you all like it!

I intend to create a crude but powerful Sith Lord for my story. I will need a master however.

Okay, so I spent my day actually writing down the ideas I had for Misaki, even though I'm sleep deprived, so it all might just suck.

Would like some feedback either way, so please tell me what you think. Or don't. I'm not a cop.

Oh, and I'd love if someone could put me in the Sith Skype chat. ferreira.grp is my username.

edit: This is all still a wip, of course.

Personality and Appearance
Charming and graceful, Misaki could be mistakenly described as the embodiment of the beauty and elegance of the Yu people, attesting to the traditionally proud mannerism seen as ideal for the ones of noble birth. Quite the sight, the young Sith was gifted astonishing beauty, uncommon even among the typically attractive women of her lineage, her dark hair clashing against a soft, paler skin, gentle features enhanced by the attire, carefully chosen and of utmost quality, combined with cosmetics. A great deal of detail goes into her makeup and garments, with special attention to the hair, usually replete with those. But looks are not all that important on their own, and Misaki, coming from one of the many noble clans, has received training on and still retains the maybe overly-courteous ways of the higher castes, respectful and polite whenever required, her movements gracious and elegant, yet still concise and confident, as if thought of beforehand.

MicVcwj.png
Contrary to the tradition of honor and morality strongly present in most parts of Zhenxing since times long gone, the Sagara woman is deceitful, some of her more considerate, thoughtful moments being almost a mask over what years of training as an operative to her clan taught her. A time of conflict and instability, it was only natural for the warring clans to evolve, to adopt tactics seen as corrupt and unworthy by some, as trickery, espionage and assassination, and it was to this unforgiving and competitive world Misaki was brought, bearing the name Sagara, one of the clans most well-adjusted to this new type of shadowy conflict. The girl served since early, using and seeing the Force as a tool, something giving her and edge, with duty to one's house always in mind, at first proud of her position as an asset in the many plots of her family.

While that pride to be called a Sagara still stands, during her life, Misaki shifted from altruism to borderline egocentrism, wise to the nature of the political game she took part of. But her past blindly dutiful ways did indeed take a toll, as her intense training and a plethora of amoral operations, which more often than not included death, messed with the girl's head, molding a landscape as unstable as Zhenxing's clans.

Innocence long gone, behind her elegant and collected mask is an overly emotional face. Manipulative and ambitious, rage is a common symptom after something does not go her way, but her pride still stands strong against displaying those more aggressive emotions for all to see. However, that tends to change based on the situation, as she values respect for power above all else, well, towards her own power, anyways, and does not hesitate to put someone she finds inferior in their place. That is most definitely not to say she enjoys senseless bloodshed, or even direct combat and gratuitous violence, for that matter, and most of these reprehension tend to stay in the verbal zone.

Growing as the second daughter, fourth child, dreams of attaining power withing the Sagara clan were never there in the beginning, but with the death of her two brothers, it became clear she should be named heir, not her sister, but tradition prevailed over what was, in her opinion, the logical choice. Misaki's envious nature showed for the first time, going hand-in-hand with her vindictive tendencies after the actions her sister took, destroying her last strong familial bonds, bonds she held in great esteem.

Although some of her cold, maybe even ruthless characteristics tend to take the spotlight when shown, the key word would be instability. Her outside, save for the rare occasions she truly snaps into fits of rage, is usually disconnected from true feelings, a skill quickly acquired when dealing with enigmatic, unreadable courtiers, which ends up adding a layer of mystery of her own, a layer that even her get lost in at times.

Cynical and untrusting to the root, her time working with spies and other two-faced courtiers, sometimes plotting against their own clans, also left deep marks, as she learned few are worthy of trust, furthering even more her insensitivity towards others. It is also a key point impeding most, if not all, personal relations, as that hardship to trust on someone else, reflex not only of her operations, but also from actions took by her own family, also means closure towards the outside. There were few people that Misaki was truly open with, and none of those are still alive.

Loneliness is a giant aspect of Misaki's existence. There is no one left to share her life with, trustingly share her interests, thoughts and dreams, share her sensitive side, one suppressed for the greater part of her time in the universe. Aggravating the issue, along with the obvious lack of trust, is the disconnection she had with that side, and how she would much rather show aggression than passion, however plentiful the latter may be, after all, she knows the outcome aggressive behavior has, she can stay in full control of the situation, while the same can obviously not be said for other.

Voice sample.

Character Alignment: Lawful Evil
A lawful evil villain methodically takes what he wants within the limits of his code of conduct without regard for whom it hurts. He cares about tradition, loyalty, and order but not about freedom, dignity, or life. He plays by the rules but without mercy or compassion. He is comfortable in a hierarchy and would like to rule, but is willing to serve. He condemns others not according to their actions but according to race, religion, homeland, or social rank. He is loath to break laws or promises.

This reluctance comes partly from his nature and partly because he depends on order to protect himself from those who oppose him on moral grounds. Some lawful evil villains have particular taboos, such as not killing in cold blood (but having underlings do it) or not letting children come to harm (if it can be helped). They imagine that these compunctions put them above unprincipled villains.

Personality Type: ISTJ
Their defining characteristics of integrity, practical logic and tireless dedication to duty make ISTJs a vital core to many families, as well as organizations that uphold traditions, rules and standards, such as law offices, regulatory bodies and military. People with the ISTJ personality type enjoy taking responsibility for their actions, and take pride in the work they do – when working towards a goal, ISTJs hold back none of their time and energy completing each relevant task with accuracy and patience.

ISTJs don't make many assumptions, preferring instead to analyze their surroundings, check their facts and arrive at practical courses of action. ISTJ personalities are no-nonsense, and when they've made a decision, they will relay the facts necessary to achieve their goal, expecting others to grasp the situation immediately and take action. ISTJs have little tolerance for indecisiveness, but lose patience even more quickly if their chosen course is challenged with impractical theories, especially if they ignore key details – if challenges becomes time-consuming debates, ISTJs can become noticeably angry as deadlines tick nearer.

Four-Temperaments: Melancholic
The melancholic temperament is fundamentally introverted and thoughtful. Melancholic people often were perceived as very (or overly) pondering and considerate, getting rather worried when they could not be on time for events. They are also highly emotional, meaning it is easy for them to get offended or insulted. Melancholics can be highly creative in activities such as poetry and art - and can become preoccupied with the tragedy and cruelty in the world. Often they are perfectionists. They are self-reliant and independent; one negative part of being a melancholic is that they can get so involved in what they are doing they forget to think of others.

Melancholies may be calm and quiet on the surface but they are often angry and resentful. They tend to keep those feelings to themselves until they build up and eventually the anger explodes.

I will update the OP in the morning. Also, whoever can add people into the Sith skype chat, let me know and I'll give you my user.

While as a Sith my character will be involved in combat and fighting, I will going the more subversive, malevolent puppeteer archetype in this timeline. That being said, I would be happy to establish mentor relationships with Sith who want to get involved. I may end up establishing some kind of Sith Cult that revolves around the more spiritual/religious overtones of the faction as well, if anyone's interested. I'm interested to see what the ranks will be like this time, if we'll get the Darth title back, and how that'll all stack up.

So I'm little bit disappointed to see so many Sith characters starting out over 25 years old. Anyone planning to play a young Sith? Because my two dumb kids could sure use some buddies. Andro is 23, Serebin is 21.

I personally couldn't imagine RPing a character from mid-adulthood, I like to RP out their whole lives and make them grow up through threads D:

I recently saw TFA and I absolutely loved Kylo Ren. I adored how ill-tempered and poorly trained he was, and how he just spazzed out with his lightsaber instead of staying controlled. It was so delightfully realistic and human. So I'm looking for my Sith to hang out with more inexperienced, ill-controlled youths, to get in trouble, whinge about their fusty old masters and go on strange adventures.

Please do let me know if this interests you.

I am committed to the sith so if I can handle a third character after Samar and Marcus I was going to go sith again and this time it would be a crazy late teen sith with issues.
