Metallica's upcoming Album, Death Magnetic has some Cover Art now. It's pretty Kick Ass, and it's gone back to the original Metallica Logo, which is even more Epic(Though, I can't say I didn't like the one they used on St. Anger. That one ruled, too.).

"Death Magnetic," the entire album, available for Guitar Hero too!
It's a first in both music and gaming . . . the same day that "Death Magnetic" hits the streets, you'll be able to download every song from the album for "Guitar Hero III!" We are so psyched that we'll be the first out of the gate with this simultaneous release . . . who knows, maybe a few years from now this will be the norm when your favorite band's new record comes out.

And for those of you who are anxiously awaiting the next Guitar Hero, "World Tour," we're ready for that too . . . you will be able to experience "Death Magnetic" for drums, vocals, and guitar when that game emerges this Fall.

I can't believe people can still be excited about Metallica after St-Anger.

St. Anger was a good album for what it was. But this time, they've got a new producer and are going for a different sound than Anger, so there's just that 'What can we expect' feeling about it....


That and I've heard one of their new songs and It blew me away.

I've never really been into Metallica as a band. They have some good songs, don't get me wrong, but they're just OK in my book.

They had one of their new ones on their Myspace for a bit. It didn't last long, though....

They'll have some of those songs on RB2 as well. I might listen to the songs before buying the album though.
