Delaney is very open about who she is. Or what she is. She does not need a motive to go out and start a fight with someone other than the fact she enjoys the adrenaline she gets from it. That's her fatal flaw, her addiction to adrenaline and the rush it gives her. When she is fighting is when her adrenaline is greatest, driving her to fight more. Delaney does not charge into any fight, she will analyze her target until she can tear you apart from the inside then out, she takes her time. Almost to the point of torturing herself by putting a withdrawal on her addiction and meditating what she will do before she attacks. The best way to define her once she is in combat however, savage and brutal.

To her close friends and comrades, namely Mr. Kariya, she was called "Lala", likely due to her almost constant humming and possibly a childish nature when not in combat. She has very laid back view on life. Nothing is serious with her it seems, everything is a game, and death is a joke.
One of the few things that Delaney kept quiet was her past and her family, Liv could very likely not even be her true surname. It has been suggested that she grew up on Tatooine with her father who may or may not have been abusive, she's never mentioned siblings or her mother. Delaney has a mild form of PTSD and breathing troubles, her trouble with breathing happens rarely and was likely developed from living on Tatooine. Her entire past is skeptical at best and she prefers it to be kept that way. During her time with the Galactic Alliance, she followed orders loosely and with little care for the consequences of her actions. In the year 1003ABY, Delaney was working on an operation that had her sent into intensive care and discharged her from military services. Though her location became unknown after her release from the hospital, it's best figured she will be found with (or looking for) Nathaniel Kariya, an old comrade and lover.
She enjoys singing, studying language as well as culture and setting large buildings on fire.
