Jace quickly searched the first floor room by room, once he was sure the floor was clear he moved on. He clears each floor up to the seventh floor, the building has 9 floors. He hears movement off to his left, he knew that the door would be watched. So he decided an appliction of the Force was needed here, Jace stood off to the left side of the door. He slowee his breathing and visualized that the door was exploding inwards, raining shards of plastiod into the enemies. To insure that everone was done he tossed in one of his impact gernades to finish them off.

"Sir I have cleared up to the seventh floor, of the sniper building. I encounter some resistance but I took care of them. Give me another few minutes and I should be up there to take csre of the sniper."

Arritef moved with the pack for a time, surveying and memorizing the path they were taking. This way they would be able to later infiltrate the barracks, and ensure that any stragglers would not cause further problems. Seeing an opportunity to slip away, he ducked into the cover of a dilapidated building, He waited until the footsteps passed before he continued. He carefully walked through a mess of broken buildings until he could see the systematic firing of the turbolasers. He broke into a slight run, pulling a thermal detonator from his pack as he neared the target structure.

Arritef leapt up and grabbed onto the side of the side of the laser, using the momentum from the jump to swing up onto the top. He had to be quick, or someone was going to see him. He heard a smattering of laser fire — too late then — and he threw himself flat on the roof of the cannon, sending deadly shots flying overhead. They kept firing, missing and sometimes hitting the sides of the laser instead. He crawled along the surface towards the barrel, activating the timer on the thermal whilst he did this. The timer was short, so he would have about eight seconds to get off and away before the entire thing was blown to high hell.

He heard the steps of the man on the ladder to get up onto the structure, and he pulled himself forwards, tumbling off the top of the laser. His momentary raise in height got the reaction of a burst of fire, but it was too inaccurate in its haste to actually be accurate. Arritef swung from the barrel in one motion, and loops to the front to throw in the detonator. He then released and allowed himself to free fall the short distance to the ground. Knowing he had only a few seconds left, he put on a quick burst of speed, closing his eyes and drawing a knife as he did so. He heard the blasters that he knew would signal his opponent's location, and he threw the knife with deadly accuracy. It flew directly into a blonde man's neck, killing him instantly. Arritef called on the force in a practiced, though simple way, pulling the knife back to his outstretched hand.

Arritef went into a full sprint as he heard the sound of the timer reaching it's endpoint, and threw himself behind the closest building as he felt an intense wave of heat ripple through the air. He covered his ears, knowing the blast would be shocking to his overly sensitive hearing, and the blast went full force just a moment later. Pieces of shrapnel flew past him, but Arritef was safe behind the wall.

"The first turbolaster has been destroyed." Arritef said monotonously into the comms. "I will be moving on to locate the commander." He stood up and took off in the direction of front.

Noah watched as he jumped off the ramp, his men were already firing into the enemy. These men were fighting with everything they had. They felt
Like more than mercenaries. They felt like true soldiers. They fired and ducked and rocketed from cover. A man bumped into Jacen and took a sniper round for him. Noah was at first shocked, then he was furious.

"THAT BUILDING!" He pointed to the building Kuro and Sal had jumped into. "I want an FOB, now!" He watched as a plex missile arced at the heavy repeater speader, striking the ground near it and throwing the crew from it.

He saw that blaster cannon shot from the last blast strike the building and threaten its integrity, but no more shots were being loosed from the cannon. He ran towards Kuro and Sal, picking them up out of the crater to their feet as he fired with his blaster pistol.

"Who gave you permission to lie down?!" Noah yanked them off the ground, pointing to the building once again. "We gotta clear this LZ! COME ON!"

He activated the jump rockets on his armour and hopped across the small square onto the roof of the tenement. The building was obscured enough to avoid most artillery but large enough to support the strike force's ground teams. The Alabaster-Class Freighter Krakka circled overhead as it lent its firepower for air support. The Nu-Class Shuttle took to lifting back off the ground but staying below rooftop level, unleashing laser fire from their cannons. He saw Mitchell in his hungover state and mildly regretted bringing him, but ignored the feeling as he knelt down and began unleashing fire into the onrushing insurrectionists. One by one they fell as flames licked at the charred and blackened holes in their bodies.

"Push them back! Secure this area! Rally on my position!"

Kuro was pulled out quickly by Commander Jacen.

"Who gave you permission to lie down?!"

"Hmm, it wasn't really my fault." He grinned underneath his helmet. He quickly activated his jetpack, following Noah up onto the large roof. "May, I ask why you brought Mitchell, he had to borrow my gun!" he opened fire upon all the insurrectionists before jet packing his way down. He walked along the empty street, now littered in corpses. It was rather depressing. "Sir, what are the rest of your orders?"

"May I ask why you brought mitchell, he had to borrow my gun!"
Murray grumbled as he overheard what Kuro said to Jacen via his headpiece. "Ey If ya gunna talk smack bout me you better tell it to my face". He could feel his anger rising or maybe it was just his adrenaline, but suddenly the world seemed to slow down. Shots where moving at half their normal speed as Murray observed his surroundings. He began to sense the beings in his surrounding. Jacen, Kuro, and the remaining members of the ADI squads; in addition he sensed the enemies. He felt their presence in numbers the enemy is trying to ambush us he thought.
"LLL-LLLOOK OOOUT"
He overheard someone say, breaking his mental trance. He jumped up just to see one of the enemy troopers aiming at his head. Fortunately, Murray had enough time to dodge the head shot... only to have his right mechanical forearm blasted off. "SHIT. I JUST GOT THIS!" Murray yelled at the soldier who fired. Murray activated the vibro-blade he was given and threw it at the man. Purposely aiming low Murray watched as the man ducked straight into the blade; pierceing between his helmet and body armor. He chuckled as he started walking to the now dead soldier "always watch your enemy. I learned that the hard way too bud" He began to scavenge the body for weapons to use. In the end, Murray was able to get a working blaster rifle off of the soldier's body.
Alright lets have some fun, he thought as he started heading towards the left flank of the enemy.

"Hold this position!" Noah commanded as the last of the division retreated into the building.

Heavy repeaters were mounted into windows and the shuttles set down on the roof. Supplies is unloaded from the ships as the Krakka set down on the roof. The long-range hyperwave transmitter began transmitting as he called his officers together. Sal, Mitchell, Kuro all gathered around. Arritef was off in the city, doing his best to create chaos. The building stood as a bastion now; the insurgents weren't coming in full force, and the weapon emplacements of the ADI Marines kept them at bay for now. Jace had run off on a game of cat and mouse with a sniper.

"Mayday, mayday: this is Commander Noah Jacen of Aegis Defense Marine Forces. We are currently engaged with insurgent forces on Randon. They have overrun much of the city. If you can here me, please respond." He switched the channel over to an open planetary frequency and recorded his next message while the hyperwave one bounced off the orbital buoy on repeat. "Mayday, mayday: this is Commander Noah Jacen of Aegis Defense Marine Forces. We are engaged in Sardonis with insurgent forces. Our landing zone is 'secured', but is at risk of being overrun. To any Police or PDF, if you can reach us, we need you to try. We have called for help. We are digging in."

Upon hearing noah begin his radio transmissions, he glanced around the roof top looking at his comrades Jace, Mitchell and kurro nodding to each one of them in assurance of 'what ever happened next, it was an honor to have fought at your side.'

Unable to see Arritef he went over the comms "hey good luck out there brother, see you soon."

Sal reloaded his rifles, ensuring his blades were there he questioned. "Have we established artillery yet? And if not is there a possibility we can create ann LZ for the artillery pieces? After we clear the area of course??"

Arritef had been successful in taking down the forward turbolaser position, but what he hadn't thought through were the repercussion doing that. He had lit a flame, and now came the moths. Within a moment of the detonation, the roar of hovertrucks could already be heard. A few minutes later the troop door opened and insurgents began pouring out. They were lead by a man, Gorgo, who had a heavy repeater in his hands and a mottled collection of blast proof gear on. On his back he had a vibroaxe as well.

Gorgo lowered his repeater, and began pouring blaster bolts towards Arritef's position, the bolts burning through whatever they touched.

"Come out and play little man. If you're so tough."

He felt the rumble of blaster bolts on the concrete concealing him. shots pushed through the barrier in a few places, and Arritef moved just in time to avoid one that could have gone through his back. He rolled into a crouch and drew two knives.

"Come out and play little man. If you're so tough." He heard. Arritef would have laughed if he had a decent concept of humor. If this man was thinking a bait like that would work, then this ought to be an easy fight. He rose to his feet and immediately sprung into action. Throwing two knives, he disabled two oncoming insurgents. They hadn't even had time to pull the trigger before they were dropped.

Recalling his weapons, Arritef locked eyes with the man who had taunted him and threw both knives deadly straight towards the man's chest and neck, before drawing four more, two in each hand, and throwing them on either side of them man in a deadly web. As he completed this action, Arritef drew his vibroblade from his back. This too was customized, with a blade some length greater than the standard. He shot off to the side, using the rubble and bits of building as cover, and attempted to flank the soldiers pouring from the trucks.

Jace quikly cleared the 8th and most of the 9th floor not meeting much resistance at all. Jace quickly searched through the 9th floor, hoping to find that sniper. He heard movement off to his right and he dropped to the floor. A volly of shots flew over his head, singing his hair. That was close, way to close. Too much distrubance in the force for me to sense to far ahead. What should I do? I need to eleminate the sniper now.

Jace quickly lined up shots and dropped the three shooters. He got to his feet and went down the hallway they had attacked from. He quickly searched all the rooms, he found the sniper's nest but no sniper. He centered himself and entered the force, looking for any trace of her. What he saw made no sense, she seemed to be covering every inch of the room in her presence. There was not an inch of the room untouched by her, she felt like a corruption. This Sniper was evil and was touched by the Dark Side.

Reese Everett huddled in the remains of an apartment. Not even hours ago, he had been on a courier ship with his friends. Then there had been a blast that rocked the whole ship, and it was all downhill from there. His chosen home smashed through a building and into what was once a popular street in the city, but now it was a concrete wastelands. Rocky spires of broken asphalt rose from the ground. Cars were everywhere, either broken apart or as burnt skeletons.

Reese had survived the crash with only minor injuries. His portion of the shop caught on fire, and was also within a dangerous proximity of the gas tank. He escaped the rubble immediately. When he did, he had heard voices and footsteps. Taking cover, he saw armed men charge the ship and drag out his crew mates. He saw nothing more, running further from the street for his own survival.

He had chosen his new position at random. A kitchen table had survived a pile of rubble falling on it, creating a perfect alcove. Reese now sat with his knees tucked to his waist, listening to the gunshots and cries of dying men, all the while with little idea what was happening. His half-broken com crackled to life from his metal wrist.

"Mayday, may-...Commander Noah Jacen of Aegis... currently engaged..." In a sudden moment of clarity, like a break in fog or the first light of dawn, the message came in with perfect clarity. "Our landing zone is 'secured', but is at risk of being overrun. To any Police or PDF, if you can reach us, we need you to try. We have called for help. We are digging in."

He had heard a large amount of men charge up the building next to him. Should he join? To a commander, whyever he was here, he would be nothing more than a civilian. But they seemed to be in trouble...

Reese acted, he had a plan.
He wiggled out from his hiding spot, scanned the room, and quickly skittered across the house and into the street. He headed straight for the house across the street. HIs blast hung at his hip and his sword on his back, both remained where they were. He ran towards the building, but put up his hands to show his clear, non-threatening intentions.

Kuro stood on the building, which was finally secure. He couldn't help but notice all the chaos all around the city. It was horrifying to Kuro as he witnessed a
ll the destruction around him. It was scary, listening to all of the gunfire around him. He turned to Commander Jacen, when he heard all the gunfire. "Commander can I go on a reconnaissance mission, to see where various other groups are? I'm the most mobile and I'm the only one with a Jetpack." He turned around to look at the chaos all around him.

"Sir sniper is down, I repeat sniper is down. I will see if she has any intel and then return to the squad."

"Good job Jace!"

He heard that Arritief was after the Commander "Do you need help establishing a location for him or do you want reinforcements in order to kill him?"

The two men flanking Gorgo had been assaulted by the attacker via thrown weapons. One of them had been a lucky shot, hitting the man in the throat. The other had dropped lower and hit him in his flak vest, lodging in the layers of it, but not doing him any harm. Knives had been thrown at Gorgo and men behind him as well, all of whom had been given time to duck and weren't knocked down by these attacks.

"Focus fire! I want that mother fekker taken down!"

Gorgo raised his own repeater and was pouring fire towards Arritef. It would either force the man to take the rounds, or veer off and take cover rather than continue his escape.

"Focus fire! I want that mother fekker taken down!"

Gorgo raised his own repeater and was pouring fire towards Arritef. It would either force the man to take the rounds, or veer off and take cover rather than continue his escape.

Arritef saw the incoming fire and knew he was in trouble. These people are actually trained. They weren't the uncultured and raw specimen he was most used to handling. That didn't mean he would be unable to accomplish his task, but it would mean he actually would need to take care, so as to avoid getting injured seriously or becoming a liability.

Arritef used his impressive agility, leaping into the air and using a hanging floor support from a nearly-collapsed building to supplement his motion. He swung and just barely cleared the fire. He actually felt a blaster bolt clip one of his boots. Releasing at the precipice of his swing, he fell rapidly into a small group of rather unprepared soldiers. He used one of them to break his fall and knocked the man unconscious, landing on his head. As he landed, Arritef took a wide sweep with his vibroblade and felt it connect with flesh and armor. The first two men took the brunt of the strike and were downed, but the remaining four were merely knocked back with some damage to their armor.

Knowing they were all too close to attempt blaster fire, lest they risk hitting allies, the closest man stepped forward and into Arritef's guard, throwing a powerful swing at his abdomen. Arritef blocked the strike with the hilt of his blade and pulled it across his front to slit the man's throat. As he dropped Arritef was faced with two men just behind him, both swinging for different places. Arritef blocked a quick strike towards his throat, but took a powerful strike to the head. He felt warm blood begin to flow down his face and he threw thrust his blade blindly in the man's direction. It caught him in the stomach and the man went down, but another stepped forward to replace him. Arritef pulled his last knife from his pouch and threw a punch to the chest of the man directly in front of him, with the blade in between his fingers. The man's eyes widened as he slid to the ground, and Arritef dashed away to avoid an incoming kick from the last remaining man in the group, throwing himself behind a pile of rubble.

Knowing he was faced with too many opponents, Arritef tossed a thermal detonator blindly over his shoulder and began to move again, stowing his blade away on his back as he did so. There were only five seconds on the timer, and he had to get away from the blast. He turned to face the throng of soldiers and he began backpedaling away from soon-to-explode detonator. He was faced with a storm of blaster fire — far too much to avoid cleanly. Arritef threw himself to the side, moving towards the far end of the incoming fire. Once he was in the slightly less densely grouped rounds, he twisted in the air, attempting to fit between the rather widely-spaced bolts. These were the more inaccurate of the variety, and gave him a greater chance of success.

He felt two bolts connect solidly with his left hip, and his left shoulder, his light armor doing little to prevent the penetration. Other than that he had a rather bad graze to his abdomen and a light burn on his thigh. Those wouldn't inhibit his performance too much, but they would probably scar without quick treatment. The grazes wouldn't change his performance, especially as his pain tolerance had been trained to breaking point when he was raised. The hip and shoulder were potentially problematic, as they would significantly inhibit his speed. He would definitely be limping until he saw a medic, and he would have to rely on his right arm for the majority of his power, not that his style relied much on that anyways.

Arritef landed sloppily on his left side, and skidded to a stop. He didn't take any time to reaffirm the position of the enemy as he threw himself behind a larger pile of rubbish to prepare for the blast.

The insurgent men were completely taken off guard by Arritef's agile about face. Trained relatively well in blaster combat, but containing little to no blade or hand to hand combat, the men were quickly dispatched by Arritef. The man quickly began retreating, however, due to the overwhelming numbers of the crowd. A thermal detonator was rolled into place, and the rebels began to run. Few escaped the short fused det, and most were atomized on site. Gorgo went to focus fire on Arritef again, but found his weapon out of ammunition. Not wanting to spare the time it would take to reload, he threw the weapon to the side and began running towards the man's position, axe in hand.

Gorgo stood at a little over two meters, and was large and muscular. Axe drawn he spouted more taunts to draw the man out

"Puny little man, throwing a bomb to do your work for you. Come face me like the coward this government has bred you to be!"

Yool had seen the man barely even drop a beat from her shot,

"Frakking hell. They've sent one after me." She had been standing on the balcony of one of the interconnected buildings. She turned and scurried onto the roof of the building. Moving at a full run, she climbed several more roofs, before she heard the door kick open to the balcony she had been standing on. Turning around and dropping into a crouch, she fired another round at the solider, who was now roughly 17 meters away. This one was aimed at his chest. After she fired she didn't wait around and began her running and climbing more away. On her back was secured a long slender vibroblade.

"This is Yool" she began panting into the comms, her voice a hiss, "I'm being perused."

Arritef took a deep breath, calming himself and dipping into the Force. He felt the familiar sensation of his throwing knives and worked on bringing them back, one by one. With the distance between them, he didn't have the skill to bring them all back at once. He discovered that all but two of them, those lodged in the first two men he had killed, had been completely destroyed when the detonator went off. He stowed away the ones he had managed to recover right as he heard the leader's guttural tone bite angrily through the air.

"Puny little man, throwing a bomb to do your work for you. Come face me like the coward this government has bred you to be!" He said.

Arritef reached into his back pouch and drew a smoke grenade. Injured as he was, Arritef knew he didn't want to engage someone without knowledge of their abilities. Arritef rolled the grenade, waited for the sound of its activation, and took off towards the front, intending to meet up with the team.

"I am on the way now." Arritef said into his comms. "I took out most of the group I engaged, but a few stragglers survived. I disengaged due to.......unfavorable circumstances."

Jace saw her flee, she was jumping from roof to roof. She turned and crouched, he only had a second to react. Not enough time to draw his sabers and defend from the bolt. As he dived forward to avoid the shot he took a few pot shots at her, because of taking the shots he was not able to fully dodge the shot. He took the shot on the top of his left shoulder, his vest and jacket lessened the force. It hurt like a bitch and he knew he would not be able to use his left arm much.

He took about a minute to gather his wits and strength and struggled to his feet. He followed her across the roofs at a slower pace do to his shoulder. He knew that with his two injuries he would have to ketch up to the sniper quick and finish her off quick.

"Commander can I go on a reconnaissance mission, to see where various other groups are? I'm the most mobile and I'm the only one with a Jetpack." Kuro said to the commander. Noah turned absent-mindedly out of reflex, trying to hard to focus on too many things at once. He heard more activity pick up in the distance, as PDF and Police no doubt were trying to rally to his position. The tenement they were using was pretty shelled out, and more resembling the shell of a parking garage with stairs and walls rather than ramps and lined parking spots. Most of the internal walls were gone, and every floor felt like one giant space, and the 5-stories were still luckily short enough to be below most of the skyline, avoiding direct fire from the defense turbolasers. A column of bright green smoke carried from two of the roof's opposite corners, signalling the rally point. He thought for a second and pinged a simple indicator to show up in Jaceson's and Arritef's HUD, telling them to return to the rally point immediately.

"Do you need help establishing a location for him or do you want reinforcements in order to kill him?"
Again, Jacen was straining and his head was reeling. Gunfire around him overwhelmed his hearing while he was trying to think through the visual puzzle of both the supplies crates being unloaded from the Krakka and the holo-tables providing a 3-D schematic of the city based on preliminary recon scans. His head was spinning as he once again turned his head and half glanced at Kuro in the corner of his visor. He looked at his men. It had been almost 10 minutes since he'd set the Hyperwave transmission to loop, and no response.

"Look..." He met the eyes of everyone around him (as best as people can when wearing full-head helmets). "We did not come out to the ass end of space to get trampled on by some fanatics with guns. We came here to kick ass and save lives, and that's what we're gonna feckin' do!" He walked to the edge of the rooftop and looked down.

The insurgents had backed off, and landspeeders and trucks were streaming towards the tenement, one by one. A few individuals walked right up to the men downstairs, arms raised, and were brought into the structure. Noah felt a Force presence down there, a strong one. He made a mental note to go down and check on it later... or maybe they'd find him. He prayed they wouldn't say anything about it, as he tried to keep it as under the rug as he could. His presence was dark, that much he knew. He was afraid of himself at night. His memory flicked back to his night terrors he had at least 3 times a week, and the times he'd almost killed himself, both consciously and while in his sleep. He remembered the scars on his upper arms, the ones that could normally be covered by short sleeves, and how hard it was for him to expose himself in anything more than ambient lamplight. His attention was brought back to the present.

"We'll wait here for a couple of hours... See how our numbers go up as more people poor in. I'll stay up here and monitor the situation. Someone needs to go down and help set up refugee areas for people to be taken care of while we do our jobs, preferably on one of the upper floors. I want someone else to go downstairs and start getting a warm body count. If they're alive and able to fight, put a blaster in their hands. We need people to help fight for their freedom." He paused, thinking for a second, his expressionless helmet hiding his looks of concern and consternation. "Get us a count on those trucks and speeders. If there's anything we can strap guns to, I want it bolted on and loaded." He gave a last look around at the men before him. Their lives were in his hands. He checked his mission chrono; the time was 1843 Hours. "Unless someone can find me a good bottle of vodka, we roll out at 2000 hours. Dismissed."

Well if we are hunkering down here, im gonna go few roofs over scout out a good op and pull guard. We need to build a decent perimeter around us and these refugees. If anything shall happen il comm everyone.

Sal mentioned as he stood up. Noticing the sun was going down he muttered.

This is gonna be fun.

Sal knew how this worked. At least he thought he did. He thought to himself 'hhhmmm if i were attacking id wait for either everyone to be sleeping or wait till 0600 hhmmmm hopefully im wrong on this end'

He headed down the stairs to the first floor passing some of the refugees and worked his way a few blocks over. Slowly he crept just incase it was a trap or if there were stragglers left to shoot at him. Looking to a radio tower he slowly but surely made his way up to the top. Building a small canopy/swing inbetween the top metallic poles and cables, he sat still and quietly using his species night-vision to help aid in seeing any movement in the ever so darkening night.

Jace you got me?......kurro you copy?.....noah?.....Arritef you there?....anybody copy?

He spoke quietly and clearly trying to establish comms with an outside source.

Reese was welcomed by the sight of many others doing what he was. He wasn't an outlier, and wasn't doing anything wrong. As he neared the building, the green smoke on the roof disappeared. He assumed they made their rally point and current BOA up there.

It had always been like him to, when knocked off the train of life, simply reach out an arm and grab onto a passing one. It had happened when he was exiled, and it had happened when he was fired from his first three jobs. His crew was either captured or dead, that was for sure. He felt little remorse for them. Most of them were rude and brash towards him, hardened old pilots. They weren't his style. But a bustling war zone, with death around every corner, battle-hardened soldiers, and heavy artillery?

This was even less his style. He was tall, 6'2" and built enough, but he was by no means a warrior. He wore leather gauntlets, a vest, and a forest green cloak that wrapped around his upper front.

Regardless, it seemed his only option at this time. As strange as it sounded, he was probably safer with the soldiers. He scanned the area for anybody that might be sent in to count or greet the newcomers. If he saw one, he would approach them.

He spoke quietly and clearly trying to establish comms with an outside source.

Arritef was nearing the temporary stronghold when he heard a crackling on his comms.
"Ku.......co....y........oh......ritef....u.....er......" Arritef pieced together the chopped up message and interpreted the meaning. He tapped the small communicator on his wrist, getting read to respond. "I read you. I am approaching the base now. Where are you, and what is your situation?" He said as clearly as he could. He hoped the message would make it through the spotty connection.

As he neared the building, Arritef saw the insurgence troops surrounding the place. They were pulled back some distance, showing a temporary cease-fire, but they were obviously ready for a fight. Arritef knew he needed to speak to the commander to coordinate his objective with that of the group. First, however, he needed a medic.
