Personality: He is typically friendly despite his troubled past. At times, his emotions will overpower his typical control. Very loyal to whatever organization he is in.
History: Many years before he was born, a Taung had enslaved his ancestors. The clan name of the Taung was Ordo. After several generations of slavery, a few of his ancestors escaped the Taung family that had enslaved them. However, their clan name had been forgotten so they adopted the name of their previous overlords.
After many more generations, they moved to Correlia. Because they were fairly poor, they moved into the poor sections of the city. After a few years of living there, Dimitrije was born. He did spend time in the crappy school system that did introduce him to many shady characters. He eventually started to deal drugs in the school and eventually expanded operations to the whole neighborhood. His parents on the other hand were law abiding citizens and were ashamed of his operations.
Eventually, he left the worthless school as well as his family and moved to other equally shady parts of the planet. As he continued in his trade, he became so successful in his practice that some of his friends realized that they needed to prevent him from becoming too powerful in their business and they were worried he might supplant them as the leaders of the drug selling business.
When they managed to stop him from gaining the top positions in the drug ring, he decided it would be more profitable to start his own ring and compete against them. Soon, his ring began making far more money than their ring as he was good at selling the drugs. His ring eventually got monopolies on entire neighborhoods as he was better as selling and his drugs were of higher quality.
They finally decided to declare war on him as he managed to become that powerful. Despite its power over the market, his drug ring was outnumbered and outgunned. In a short period of time, his many neighborhoods began to fall into their hands as he didn't have enough people to man those neighborhoods.
Soon, he had only had one hood left and his former friends still wanted to stomp him out so they massed their forces and went in. His remaining forces were small and were hiding in a small building. As his enemies finally found him, he fired off all his remaining ammo and began to prepare to fight to the last. As he was fighting for his life, he accidently fired off force lightning at some of them as he had the urge to live and that was a very powerful emotion.
With the blast of force lighting in their faces, some of the enemy gang members died and the rest surrendered to him. As his enemies had lots of fighters in their gang, he acquired a large army to defend him. In the aftermath of it, he did become sad as he had killed his former friends and he didn't ever want to fight any friends ever again.
Given that he won, he then reacquired all his previous turf and with his army, he began to move into more hoods. Soon, his enemies began to mount as he became powerful and they wanted to be sure that he wouldn't be able to zap them like he did to the others. So he was at nearly constant war but he managed to fight them off with his fairly powerful army. Also, he began to control the schools to ensure new recruits would come into his gang.
In time, he hired a force user to come to his gang to teach him how to use more force techniques that would help his fighting and selling. That allowed him to become even more of a threat to his enemies and better at selling to those in his hood.
Eventually, the constant gang fighting was brought to the attention of the republic. They started to sweep away every gang in the region and his gang became one of the gangs that were swept away. Given that the gangsters were already experienced fighters, the republic decided to recruit them into their army rather than simply execute them.
Since he was one of the captured ones, he became a republic soldier after a bit of training. The job of republic soldier then brought him to see far more of the galaxy than he had ever seen before. As he was sent around the galaxy, he started to learn about things like the Jedi and the Alsakans. Given that he knew he had force powers, he quit soldiering for the republic and wanted to become a Jedi.
So he went to the Jedi temple to join the Jedi.
