Bothawui.

A planet in a sector which had declared itself neutral within the Third Galactic Civil War. But now, it would take a major part in said war. A small fleet of Mandalorian vessels was orbiting the Bothan homeworld, and keeping a careful eye on the Alliance vessels which orbited in a parallel path to the Mandalorian ships. Yet neither fleet made any agressive moves towards the other. Nor were their weapons even powered. There were far more things to be concerned with than a small skirmish in space.

On the planet surface, within the capitol city of Drev'starn, and more specifically the Combined Clans Center Building, an important meeting was to take place. The Combined Clans Center Building was the government centre of Bothuwai, but for the purposes of this meeting, the Bothans had allowed the outsiders to take control for a day. Outsiders that were on Bothuwai to discuss the future of the galaxy.

Sixteen of these outsiders wore thick armour, with distinctive T-shaped visors, underneath camouflage-patterned cloaks. One of whom was the Mandalore. The remaining fifteen were Mandalorian Protectors, as one could tell by the small symbol emblazoned upon their breastplates. The reformation of the Protectors had been one of Mandalore Bralor's first tasks upon taking up the mantle of the warrior leader.

And now Mandalore, Carien Bralor, was waiting on the Alliance delegate whom had arrived to negociate with the Mandalorians.

The seemingly peaceful standoff by opposing forces in the orbit of this famed planet was an interesting sight for most. Such an occurrence was certainly not usual and tensions seemed to be rather high by the natives of the planet. Indeed, it seemed unusually quiet on the comms, not to mention the planets surface below.

A small contingent of twenty Alliance soldiers escorted a trio of non-military personnel towards the impressive structure in which this meeting would take place. The Mandalorians stationed outside the citadel, obviously waiting for their Alliance counterparts, were rather imposing. Indeed, if it came to a firefight, the Mandalorians would, doubtlessly, find victory against the soldiers who looked meek in comparison.

In the middle of the line of three delegates walked Cyeon Hunebar, Representative of the Cularin system and Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee. To his right was the Prime Envoy of the Jedi, Gracelyn Vitorioso Maier. To his left, the Representative of Naboo, Claude Moreau Olivier.

The five soldiers leading the parade would part to make way for the politicians, who would step forward to reveal themselves. Looking around, Hunebar noticed the insignias posted on the armor of these individuals. He didn't know what it meant, but analyzed it for a few moments to ensure proper memorization. During this, he noticed that one did not have this symbol upon their armor, which he found curious. That individual's position was as unknown to him as the rest of them, but he looked at each of them, where their eyes should have been yet hidden behind helmets traditional to their kind. He would have been much more comfortable if they would have removed them, but wouldn't suggest such a thing. Not yet at least.

"I am Representative Cyeon Hunebar, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee. This is Master Jedi Gracelyn Maier, the Prime Envoy of the Jedi and Representative of their Order within our Congress," he added, motioning towards the woman to his right. "And this is Representative Claude Olivier, also a member of the Committee," he finished, motioning to the dark-skinned man to his left.

There was a pause during which he'd allow one, or a number, of them to reveal and introduce themselves in kind. After introductions had been made, Cyeon would suggest with a motion with his hand, "Shall we?" Normally this would be considered terse and, therefore, rude. However, his small amount of research before arriving educated him on some of the basics of how to interact with Mandalorians. They didn't care for frivolities, which is why he at least attempted to keep their titles to a minimum.

He, just as they he suspected, wanted to get this meeting started so this mess could be figured out. To the best of his abilities he worked to keep a calm and open mind, but the Mandalorians actions were making that difficult. He would of course keep civil and not get himself worked out until facts had been exchanged and the situation was a bit clearer to him. As it was, the report was not as indepth as he would have liked and left many questions to be answered.

"I am Mandalore."

The words were simple, yet carried hidden weight. While intially just a misinterpretation of the Mando'a words, it was no accident that the title of the Mandalorian leader and sole ruler was the same as their homeworld. Standing before the two Alliance representatives, and the Jedi, was the warlord of the Mandalorians, the ruler of the most feared warriors of the galaxy, and by her word, she could plunge the Galaxy into chaos, or bring about peace between the Mandalorians and the Alliance.

And Mandalore moved towards the table standing between her and the representatives. Pulling back a chair, and pulling back her cloak, she moves to take a seat, before she freezes mid-motion and stiffens. Her face unreadable under her mask. Only Maier the Jedi would be able to sense the huge uproar of conflicting emotions, hope and confusion being key, lurking inside Mandalore.

She pulls away from the chair and rises. Peering over at the trio, she gives a faint nod. "Thank you for meeting with me here, but I'm afraid I'll have to be quite rude and take my leave. A major crisis has occured within my people. I'll see you all again, soon." With those polite words, she turns, and the fifteen Protectors bring their weapons up, just in case of any agressive actions from the Alliance or the Jedi.

Walking out of the room, flanked by her brothers and bodyguards, she smirks inside her helmet. She had a statement to make.

A polite bow of the head was given by the Committee Chairman as the female introduced herself, yet to reveal her face. Alliance soldiers entered the room and took station along the walls. This was only done in response to the lack of candor by the Mandalore herself; allowing her armed guards, or whoever they were, to enter the meeting room as well. The Alliance would, in this case, react rather than prove themselves the better. It would be foolish to take the high road when lives were at stake.

The pause by the woman was well noted, but behind the helmet, nothing could be discerned. Her declaration flew in the face of the hospitality of the Alliance to deign to meet with the warriors without a home and whom they had shown nothing but kindness. Even Cyeon, not one to be take by his emotions so easily, could not understand such a deep level of arrogance.

When the Mandalorian guards rose their weapons, the Alliance soldiers did as well in reaction and on instinct. While the Mandalorians were great warriors in their own right, the military of the Alliance was not to be trifled with. The captain of the squad pressed a button upon the device wrapped around his wrist, sending a message to the small fleet orbiting the planet.

Even so, the Mandalore seemed to forget a Councilor, one of the highest of the Jedi within the Order, was present. Calling out towards the Mandalore, with a relatively level voice, he declared, "If you leave now, negotiations are off the table and you will be formally considered an enemy of the Alliance and the New Jedi Order. This meeting was a show of our willingness to forgive your many sleights against the Alliance. The Imperium will not be able to help you." His tone was hard and he was done with playing games with these mindless barbarians. "This is not a threat; it is a decided outcome if an understanding could not be reached."

The soldiers would not block the way to the Mandalorians as they moved to leave. Cyeon would watch with disgust but mostly disappointment in their actions. They were clearly not the honorable warriors they claimed themselves to be. They had not been for quite some time and it was foolish for the Alliance to continue to believe such. Especially now.

Mandalore turns, her helmeted gaze briefly meeting the eyes narrowed eyes of the Alliance representative. "Good. I think you will find most of my people do not respond well to threats. I hope you two gentlemen have a lovely evening. And I'd suggest you keep a keen eye on your HoloComs in the near future." Nodding faintly, she lets her gaze linger faintly on the woman indicated to be a Jedi. And said Jedi would feel the rank disgust and no small amount of anger directed towards her.

"And in that near future, when one asks for a diplomatic meeting with the Alliance, I'd advise you to keep your Jetii overlords to at home, and let them ponder the existance of the universe, and turning a blind eye to the suffering of the trillions they choose to ignore." With those parting words, Mandalore took her leave of the Alliance representatives, and the hated Jedi, and heads directly for the shuttle that would bring her directly to the orbiting Mandalorian fleet.
