Aleyah Rhydon, a former Jedi Youngling before the Fall of Coruscant and shuffled through slavers for the next ten years, is beginning her search for signs of the Rebellion or the Jedi Order, both in a state of remnants and seclusion. My character's history more directly relates to the Order, but at this point in the timeline she's more focused on banding allied forces together and assisting in the rebellious efforts of keeping the Sith Imperium at bay. Best way of doing that is first seeking out the soldiers to do it with, rather than the recently rejoined Council that is more obviously less involved with current events.
The three primary leads in which to follow up all refer to the primary Rebel locations, indirectly mentioning organized activity, but not so clear-cut so that an Imperial with the same information knows about the setup. The first is rebel-like insurrectionist behavior in the slums of the Terminus Spaceport's Civilian Resistance. The second is a rumor of semi-organized trade around Ord Pardron in light of the Imperium's quest to take control of the Corellian Trade Line. The third is the transmitted distress broadcast from the Rebel Dawn, instilling hope in all those that catch the frequency and encourage to pass the word along in memory of the successful hold of Manaan, despite the cost and less-than-ideal result, but nevertheless a victory.
I would be inclined to do three separate threads, each pertaining to a specific lead and hopefully another step to drawing the accumulated group of players closer to establishing communications among the Rebellion as a whole. Considering the Sith Imperium is taking this time to rebuild and hold on further expansion, this is the first and only time since the timeskip ICly to organize this kind of effort. So, it would definitely need to be done over a series of events, rather than rallying the banners and suddenly declaring economic stability and waging war again.
