Varyn could now say that Rattatak was a planet he had been to. And it was quite a planet... mountains and deserts stretched as far as the eye could see. He was pretty sure people would maul and kill him for a slice of bread, but it wasn't anything he wasn't used to. The underlevels of Coruscant weren't friendly either.
He'd made his way through the city to the house he'd come here for. He was, at this point, well experienced at breaking into places that he wasn't supposed to be and today was no exception. He'd gained access to the Senator's house and slipped inside. It hadn't been particularly heavily guarded, but if she was a former-Sith that made sense for a few reasons: first, she could probably handle herself and second she may well not trust others. Paranoia was practically bred into the Sith.
He wasn't even sure he could clearly outline why he was here. In recent days, Varyn found himself searching for something. Answers to questions he couldn't even really voice or questions that were so "deep" that even asking them aloud seemed foolish. Maybe he was here hoping to find the answers to those questions or maybe he was here to gauge if her conversion to the FWA was real or a farce. Maybe he was here to kill her if he didn't like those answers.
But this was where the Force had drawn him. He wore his covert armor with a blaster strapped to his hip. His saber was tucked away in concealment and as he made his way into the building, he found - as he had expected after his recon - that no one was home.
He didn't disturb a thing as he moved over and sat down in one of the seats, waiting for the senator to arrive.
