Martien shifted his way through the rooms. He finally found what he was looking for; a security room. He stood behind the guard monitoring the security screens. The job was obviously boring, and Martien felt sorry for the man at duty. His own "guard the 'sacred' thingy" job was boring enough. He was happy that he didn't have to sit behind a bunch of screens all day.

The cameras feeding information to the screens covered nearly every inch of the base. It had one for the outside of the room, and even for the sewer. Martien sat down and helped himself to the overweight guard's snacks. He barely paid attention to the screen. Then suddenly something caught his eye; it was one of the sewer cameras.

"What are those people doing there?" Martien shouted at the guard sitting lazily in his seat.

The Guard took a bite from his hoagie and answered. "Aw, Sarge, its just a few maintenance people probably checking out a loose pipe or something."

"Don't you think they are a bit armed for fixing a pipe?"

"Aw, these guys always bring weapons in the sewers. You never know what varmint is in there. Aw, I've heard about some disease down there that makes the smallest animals go crazy and attack everything. Bit dangerous down there yep."

Martien shook his head and sighed. If that man said "Aw," one more tim…

"Aw, no worries; if they are baddies we gots guy down there with more force than they gots."

Martien slapped his head and watched. Perhaps this oaf was right. He doubted it, but it was possible. If this fatty was wrong, his job probably would get more interesting, and that is what Martien hoped for.

ooc: Sorry for not posting for awhile. I got busy.

Emi pulled Aerosigil from its perspective sheath leaving the ever cheery Sunblade behind. She snarled this was becoming stupid, she had no intention of waiting around another five seconds. She pulled on her electro-goggles, helpful to find things giving off electric currents or waves. She took a good look around her. She observed her surrounding ever so carefully then sighed, a camera.

"Eh...Bronco...we gotta "looker" over there." Emi pointed in the direction that her goggles had caught the small electrical device. She knew the camera would cut out any second and she knew some knew that her buddies and her were here.

"Let the damned thing go. If someone was watching and they saw us attack it, obviously they would know something was up. Let's just keep going... As if there wasn't anything suspicious at all. Shane and...um, whoever you are... Stay here and watch our backs. Let's go Loki."

Takashi walked quietly and slowly through the long hall, looking at various walls, acting as if he was checking door handles, and other dumb things to make it seem as if he had worked here. That is until he got past the camera. Takashi grabbed his Repeating Blaster Rifle off his back and stood straight against a wall, waiting for Emi to catch up. He would need her help.

Shane lowered himself onto one knee and set the rifle against the wall and looked at the wall in front him. He surprisingly noted a small slide that was in the wall. He opened the compartment and saw a few jacks and switches. Shane spoke a in a whisper.

"Best not flip these at random. But what about the jacks? Might have some trace file that could get into my systems and that would be less than fortunate."

He closed the small slide and kept a look out to cover "Bronco" and "Loki", those names just didn't sit right with him and their was no loyalty in this makeshift alliance. He didn't like it they could gang up on him when he didn't expect it. He'd have to keep an eye on the two of them. "Loki" seemed to be the best bet to watch

*Moody. Blades, she must be good in close quarters and in these cramped sewers she is my primary threat. Not to bad looking either...*

Shane slid out his snake cam again to look around the corner which kept him situated next to the wall and in doing so still made it look like he was doing work.

Emi pulled her breather off and her jumpsuit revealing her vest type top and short shorts. She pulled her hair out of the ponytail it was in and it fell around her shoulders. She caught up with Kon and crouched down a bit to do her boot string up. She stood up and out her Sunblade, the light it revealed shown around in a 10 ft radius.

"Shall we get on with our "work", Mr. Bronco?" She asked smiling.

Martien glanced at the screen carefully once every few seconds. He could tell that these people were not mechanics. The way they moved and stood, he could tell they were too well versed in combat to be plain old maintenance workers. Another thing stood out; these people were focusing more on everything but the pipes in the sewer, and they had no tools effective on such repair jobs.

Then the thing Martien was waiting for happened. The camera went out. Instead of staring at the screen waiting for it to return like the oaf next to him did, Martien organized his arms. He did and "inventory check" on grenades, ammo clips, power clips, and weaponry. He organized his favorite types of grenades into different pouches for quick access. The types included flash, plasma, cyroban, adhesive, sonic, and thermal; all grenades were modified and built by him. It was his old hobby, and he built them to suit his needs.

Finally the camera reactivated; the people were gone. Martien chuckled and stepped from the console. This idiot next to him didn't even look at the alarm button. For Martien, this oaf was a life saver. He worked best in the dark. Instead of hitting the bright red button, he stepped out into the hallway and made his way into the electronics room that stored the fuse box. The lock opened easily and soon every mechanical device in the vicinity would be off line. There were no bad side effects of this action; it would get the guards' attention and there were no defense turrets in this area of the building. If the guards failed their job, then he would finish what remained in his own style. Heck, he might even get another bonus from his employer.

Shane stood up as fast as lightning as soon as the power went out. His rifle became a blur as it moved from off the wall to in his hands and the stock pressed tightly to his sholder. Shane's low-light vision kicked in automatically as the suites external sensors sensed a drop in light. As he entered the world from the new visual perspective of black and white he moved slowly forward up to Bronco and Loki.

"Bronk. Lo. Got flashlights?

Tanas smirked as the lights went out, and then frowned, realising that his EMP was not the cause of it. "Damn falty piece of shit." He muttered as he collected the device and stood up, drawing his repeating knockback pistol(It is realy powerful). Walking behind the manalorian, Tanas asked: "Why are you down here anyways? It's kind of out of place for a fully geared Mando to be walking around the sewers." Tanas had no real interest, but it would be good to know what side he would fall on if anything bad went down.

"Bronco, Loki, the guards will be around any moment to check on the fuse box." Tanas muttered, puzzled by the sudden power outage. "It would be such a hinderence if we were still around when they came over." He commented, looking back at Shane, "Flashlights would be a bad idea, it would give away are position to all the guards in the vecinity, and to the cammeras."

Walking up to just behind Bronco and Loki, he added one more thing. "I have an inherent adaptation to seeing in low-light, if you trust me enough, I can lead the way." He knew they most likely would not allow this, as they did not even know his name. "As a sign of trust, I'll give you my real name. Tanas Aidlo." He sighed, having used aliass' for so long. "With my name, and some luck, you could destroy me utterly, now, what do you say?"

Ocidem cursed as the lights went out. He needed plenty of light to effectively get the parasite into his containers. Also, he couldn't work with a flashlight in hand. These types of creatures were difficult to clone and have their natural viciousness intact. He needed as much of these parasites so that cloning would not be necessary.

Suddenly a thought came to his mind; if maintenance workers were down here, why would the lights go out. They would be here to make sure they would stay on. Right then he realized what was going on. There was suspicious activity in this sewer, and it didn't seem legal. The combat medic had no intentions on interfering with a group in action; for all he knew they were mechanics that accidentally shorted out the lights. He stepped away from the parasite's lair and walked towards the last place he hear the voices. His flashlight was turned as low as it could be; it was enough to walk without tripping over pipes or running into walls.

"You know who I am Tanas. As to why I'm here, would saying I just wanna kill some scum be alright? Secondly, its better to have Miss Universe and Bronky not bumbling around like fools than to maybe get spotted. Cameras are no longer a question since they seemed to have killed all power. Unless of course the cameras have a different power source which I dub to be unlikely since this place may not have concieved such an attack on its power systems.

The Mandalorian turned his attention to the merc now.

"So if you two are worried about being spotted like Mr. Aidlo here, I'll be on point for a few meters ahead of your flashlight beams if you feel okay with that."

Emi fumbled through her satchel until she found what she was looking for, her goggles. She slipped them over her eyes and the pressed the button on the side activating the night-vision. She moved over to Shane placing her splayed fingers on his chest.

"I get behind you anytime cowboy but I don't think you'd want us to be behind you. Who knows my blade might slip into your back..." She said smiling with an almost cocky smile.

"Uhhhh, I don't know whether to be flattered or scared. Plus after the stabbing part I don't feel comfortable anymore."

Shane turned and brought his rifle up to his shoulder and started on ahead of the others activating his active camo. It wasn't before to long that he reached a corner and peaked around to find a door not too far down the way. He looked back to the group.

"Before I go in. If I start scream, 'Oh shit! Oh shit! They shot me... oh crap this hurts!' You better freakin' save me." He looks to Emi, "Please don't let her save me though. I have nothing against being saved by a girl but I think she is a lousy medic."

Shane peeks around the corner and kicks open the door. He raised his rifle and rolled in to the middle. One guard stood about where he was. He had drawn his pistol from a holster under his armpit and was bringing it down to aim at Shane. The Mandalorian was quicker. He had shot up to his full height and grabbed the man's wrist and started applying excessive force until he heard a crack.

"That had to hurt. I'm sure my friends will love to talk to you when they catch up.

Takashi walked through the doorway quietly, after Shane. Seeing the man laying on the ground with somesort of injury to the arm, he drew his pistol and promptley shot the man in the head. Turning, he motioned for the Mandalorian to continue forward. Once Emi caught up to Takashi, he wispered into her ear.

"He's like a walking shield. If he's shot, we'll know where to look."

The silence was painful to bear. Suddenly a single, solitary shot was heard. Martien carefully moved about the dark hall; he did not need his special stealth generator. He blinded too well into the shadows, and he was invisible already. His grenades would effect the input of any goggles. He walked towards the sound of the shot. He knew all the guards in the area would have heard it and would be on their way. Nevertheless, there was a chance they would fail their duties, and he would have to finish the intruders off.

"That's obvious..." She laughed at her friend's conclusion.

She sheathed her sword. To her this looked more like a blaster situation than a sword one. there wasn't enough room for her to move around like she normally would. She pulled her her ornate heavy blaster from her shoulder/back holster and set the blaster to "paralyze". She pulled from her belt pouch a small vial and loaded it into her the blaster. This would make the "subject" convulse violently and cause their nervous system to go into overdrive.

Shane did as was instructed though he would be glad when he was finally done taking orders from Takashi. He opened a door that led out of the room and heard a few giggles behind them and quickly decided that it was just Emi. When he placed his foot down he was met with the distinct sound of a squishing watery noise. he look down to see that he was thigh deep in sludge of unknown origins especially origins he didn't want to know.

"Well there is a reason this is a sewer isn't there? Bronk! Lo! You guys might want to put your pant legs IN your boots. You'll know when you get here."

Shane waded through the surpisingly thick liquid and felt some gut wrenching solid matter brush against what wasn't armor plated on him.

*Damn! I hope this doesn't seep into my boots*

A few meters and held back gags later Shane saw what appeared to be a door. He found a couple of steps leading to a small square slab in front of the door. There Shane proceeded to wipe off his boots and armor. Once done to little satisfaction he felt the door. It was heavy and rusted needing to hands to work what seemed to be a wheel that would open the door, but doing so without someone on the other side shooting you would be a whole nother problem.

*I think I'll just wait for the others to cover me while I open this*

Shane stood back and looked down the way he came and raised his helmet just above his head to see what he would expect to smell like when he got home. It was exactly what he expected and feared. The stench in this part of the sewers triggered a massive upheavel in his stomach that would have made the Jedi Civil War look like a simple bar fight. He set his helmet down and covered his nose as he bent over the side of the slab holding back what was fighting so hard to go the other way. He felt better shortly and the pinched nose technique worked surprisingly well.

"Ya, I'm definately going to need a shower when I get home."
