Well I just got back from Barns and Noble and I was looking at the D&D stuff.
Apparently all the stuff I got like two years ago is completely out of date.
I use 3.5, does anyone know where to get the new updates? They are using 4.0 now.

Also does anyone know any good, Free D&D sources?

I'm not supposed to tell you that you can download all the books for free on bit torrent because we don't support pirating so I'm not going to say that, instead I'm telling you to go out and buy the books.

No, there are free resource sites. And The fact that I know I can get the updates somewhere out there.
No TORRENTS.

My friend Ron just texted me about an hour ago saying we're going to go play D&D in like two weeks at his cousin's house. XD

Looks like some kind of excuse to have some BDSM sex.

lol, good lucking converting 3.5 to 4.0. They did a complete overhaul of the rules. The guides they have for converting characters don't actually convert the character, they just give you a guide to creating a character using 4.0 rules, races and classes that will act the same as the 3.5 character.

So do I, in fact I have most of 3.5 on my computer. It's just he won't find any comprehensive conversion from 3.5 to 4.0, which I believe is what he's looking for.

My friend owns a hobby shop, so we get all the 4.0 shit for free. :CHappy:

I still haven't quite got the hang of 4.0 yet. 3.5 is too complex, yet 4.0 is too World of Warcraft...hmm...tricky...

Yeah I need anything for 4.0 I can get,
3.5 stuff is still nice.

The 4.0 stuff is insane. What is with the new magic?

Oh damn, I think I just found a good one.

Hmmm, I never played D&D. What exactly is it?

D:

It is a table Top Role Playing Game
Uses Dice for a lot of things. One Person(I have seen more than one though, assistants) Dungeon Master is basically God. The DM controls all the Monsters NPC. The DM makes the maps and stories.
Players go through, try not to use knowledge IRL unless it makes sense for them to have it, and hack and wack, bribe, etc and get through. Boring Stories have no story
Good Stories are kind of vague but descriptive to keep you hooked.

That's one of the things they got perfect. No longer is a Wizard completely useless for the first ten levels.

Agreed with GR1M, though. It is much more like an MMO than 3.5. But overall I quite enjoy it. Truthfully, it's not the game mechanics of WoW that are horrible, it's the endless grinds, and complete focus on end game. With DnD you get the ease of WoW with the complete focus on you and no one else.
