Some strong Egyptian man plans to fight a lion to boost tourism in Egypt and to prove that they can defeat Israel. He plans to fight the lion non-lethally unless the lion turns the fight into a life or death situation. Also, he doesn't quite have a permit from the Egyptian government but plans to go through with it anyways, in secret location if necessary.

Are you joking? Egypt has never won a war against Israel. The Six Day War was a complete disaster for arab nations. The only reason Israel gave back the Sinai after capturing it (quite easily I might add) is because of pressure from the international community.

(Keyword is GAVE BACK. Egypt never took back the Sinai)

I think he's referring to the Yom Kippur War where the Arab countries got the jump on Israel and managed to push Israel back for a few days before Israel got its act together and within a week or two, had armies not far from Damascus and Cairo. However, Egypt still felt better about having done well in the initial stages of the conflict so they were more willing to make peace with Israel to get Sanai back.

Defeated in peace treaty. :/

The reason why we had to take back Sinai this way is because the USA started to interfere...we were winning the war and if they hadn't interfered things would have turned ugly for Israel.
