So what are people's thoughts on the upcoming 2016 elections for congress and the presidential run? I don't know of anyone who's officially come out yet to declare their intent, though I've heard from relatives in Iowa that already they've seen a few negative campaigns already striking out against Hillary and Chris Christi, neither of which have officially announced yet, if memory serves.

Absentee ballots suck.

No, hear me out. Boli's already violently opposed to even the idea of him being in charge of SWRP. Imagine the panic attack he'd have if he starts getting electoral votes.

Boli's not American. He's safe.

I've heard that Clinton will most likely run for the democrats and win the nomination. As for the republicans I've heard rumors that chris christi, jeb bush or rand paul might run though to my knowledge none of these people have declared their intent.

I will campaign on a solid policy of economic responsibility and tiny little American flags.

Also Ill propose to invade Australia for the lulz.

But this may beat them all. Particularly the Australian invasion part.

I hope Obama wins again. He could use a less creepy VP though.

Actually yes. South Australia has an estimated equivalent of Iran's total oil deposits that's completely untapped.

See? My policies are well thought out.

You said oil, and this is how I read that.

Actually yes. South Australia is equivalent to Iran.

So obviously we need to invade right now. We'll have to use all the ruins in nearby Middle Earth for bases.

I personally feel E-mailgate has written Clinton out of the election, I don't feel she has what it takes now to win the independent vote, especially given Obama's low popularity levels (unjustified in my opinion, but he's been among the least impactful President's, especially when it comes to his Middle East policy). Without Hilary, there's a real void in Democrat candidates. It makes watching the Republican primary all the more interesting.

Much will likely be said about Ted Cruz and other whackjob tea party demagogues, but the mainstream GOP has thus far shown decent resiliency against these challengers. I wouldn't write-off Christie yet, and there's also a chance Romney makes a second run. I'm personally hopeful that Christie put up a good fight, since I feel he's the more moderate of the GOP's options. Seeing another Bush in office is also a possibility, and I've started to reconsider the value of George W.'s presidency more positively when I remember things like "Islam is love" and his policy towards Mexico, along with a new understanding on how Al Qaeda developed and why the Iraq War was started/even necessary. Of all the options available, Christie and Jeb seem the lesser of the evils, with Christie perhaps, in my mind, even being preferential to anything the Democrats can reasonably front.

Of course, let's expect Rand Paul to run, just like his father did unsuccessfully time after time, and with the usual miserable results from the Paul fanbois.

Did I mention how ridiculous Ted Cruz is? The guy was a communist child soldier revolutionary who fought to establish Communist Cuba, and wants to run for office as a conservative. Irony so thick you couldn't cut it with a saw. Using law enforcements' favorite platitude, "ignorance is not an excuse to break the law."
