OPERATIONS

splintercellbycapitaine.jpg

As agents of EvE, Scryers are tasked with accomplishing missions from all over the known greater galaxy, ranging from as near as the very Core Worlds themselves, to the outermost fringes of known space, to even the heart of the Hutt Empire. As their duties are the protection and preservation of the Galactic Republic by any means necessary, Scryers' missions manifest in a multitude, almost countless forms, from assassination (by far the most common), to kidnapping, to sabotage, to espionage and information brokering, to infiltration, fear mongering, to "benevolent" terrorism, and more.

Operation: STRAYSTAR
Execution: Assassination, Infiltration
Target:
President Belis Garyin
Location:
Abregado-rae
Mission Briefing:
President Belis Garyin of Abregado-rae has been in office for eleven years, but with each years, his administration has become more and more corrupt. Thus far, the Republic has tolerated this corruption due to his administration's funding of Republic military projects. However, in recent years, evidence has arisen that suggests that President Garyin has begun dealing with the Hutts. The time for a regime change has come.
Instruction:
Assassinate Belis Garyin without the use of blaster weaponry or demolitions. His penthouse is heavily guarded with a private army, and an audible execution will attract too much unwanted attention. Avoid needless conflict. Leave no witnesses to your presence.
Status: Open (One to Two Scryers)

Operation: ABYSUS
Execution: Assassination, Terrorism, Fear Mongering
Target:
Grand General Romar Vess
Location:
Coruscant; Galactic City
Mission Briefing:
Many within the Senate have begun to reflect lukewarm feelings about war with the Hutt Empire. Although the previous war had barely ended, antagonistic feelings toward revived conflict and interest in diplomatic resolutions have begun to develop. The foremost of these outspoken misguided idealists is Senator Tilus Soqek of Cularin. Among his greatest opponents is the war veteran, Grand General Romar Vess, who starkly believes the Hutts are a menace to the galaxy, and cannot be reasoned with, and true he is. It is in the nature of the Hutts to lie, deceive, and oppress. Any peace they claim would be only a ruse, and leave the Republic vulnerable. And it is for that reason, Grand General Romar Vess must die as a martyr. The death of Senator Soqek could lead some to believe that his death was the result of internal conflict, and some could come to sympathize with their ideals as a result. Grand General Vess is making a public speech on the war effort and why it is necessary. To that end, he must die as a martyr in front of the galaxy.
Instruction:
Assassinate Grand General Romar Vess, and leave behind evidence of Hutt involvement. Leave no doubt as to who was behind the attack. Do not allow yourself to be seen by any at all costs.

Operation: REDEYE
Execution: Terrorism, Fear Mongering
Target:
The Carannia Pavilion
Location:
Serenno; Carannia
Mission Briefing:
The Hutt Empire and its citizens scoff at the Republic, believing themselves invulnerable to their reach from the Senate's constant bickering and indecisiveness. Clearly, an example must be made to show the Hutt Empire and its people that the Republic will not be mocked.
Instruction:
Destroy the Carannia Pavilion. The Carannia Pavilion is a sky-apartment known to house some of the Hutt Empire's wealthiest benefactors. Use powerful armaments and bring the Carannia Pavilion down to Serenno's surface from the outside. It must be brought down in a manner that leaves no doubt it was destroyed by an outside threat.

Open(One to Three Scryers)

Operation: DAYLIGHT
Execution: Sabotage, Espionage, Infiltration
Target: The Central Interface Mainframe and Bridge Transponder
Location: The
Tribal-class Star Destroyer, Hellbird's Shriek; Bothawui, Jeelinu Base
Mission Briefing: The Hutt Empire's militaristic mobilization through Hutt Space is largely unknown to the Galactic Republic. As of current, the Republic Minister of Intelligence is actively utilizing the Republic's spynet in order to gain information, but the process is slow, and slow progress unnecessarily costs the lives of Republic soldiers. While extensive intel will inevitably take time, a way into boosting these efforts has been discovered. The Hutt capital ship Hellbird's Shriek is currently ported on the edge of Hutt Space to pick up raw recruits to be taken to the Hutt military academies. This provides us a special opportunity to infiltrate the Hutt Empire's military coordination base known as Jeelinu Base and decipher a portion of the Hutt's intelligence systems remotely, providing us invaluable intel the Bothawui Sector of Hutt Space.
Instruction: Masquerade as a Hutt mercenary and infiltrate the
Tribal-class Star Destroyer, Hellbird's Shriek. Once entered, remain hidden until the Hellbird's Shriek makes touchdown on Bothawui. Then escape from the vessel and infiltrate Jeelinu Base. Once there, promptly access the CIM (Central Interface Mainframe) of the base's security systems and plant a shadow program to deactivate the security hacking countermeasures. Once that is done, infiltrate the communications tower and find a way to hack into the transponder unit and upload the virus program, which will give us access to their encrypted codes incoming and outgoing from the starship. Once that is done, delete evidence of tampering. It is up to you to find your way back to Republic Space by any means.
Status: Open (Two to Five Scryers)

A little catch up on Operation: Daylight- there's only one Dark Charity class vessel in active duty (though a couple more are in production), the fleet's flagship The Will of the Hutts. It doesn't leave Tusa, so it'd be in Nal Hutta or Nar Shaddaa, and since he'd be there security would be extremely tight.

The plan could work with a Vicious or Tribal class, but those wouldn't act as a command post. The data miner would still be present but with a limited impact- mostly just wherever that ship goes and codes in that battlegroup.

Also, since it's potentially heavily damaging to the Hutts, we would need some PCs for you to counter, the same thing with Redeye.

Ah, didn't know that about the Dark Sharity class ships. I'll revamp the mission to infiltrating a Vicious or Tribal, then getting off at a Hutt outpost, base, etc... or whatever, I'll make something else up.

And I designed these missions with the hope of player vs player action. Redeye too no doubt, but especially with Daylight, since they would be on a Hutt capital ship (now military base). Same with Abysus (republic vs republic, since it is a grand general). The first mission is really the only one I pretty much designed with NPCs in mind.
