~ Theme Song ~

The evening sun was getting low on the ocean-filled horizon as Jedi Knight Kai Sera waited for the two Padawans he would be teaching today on the beautiful planet of Nemeira to arrive. Kai and several other Padawans had come to this world after Jade had visited the planet on her own personal quest for answers. Upon returning Jade told her best friend Kai of the beauty and natural wonders the planet had to offer and her belief it would be an excellent place for them to go to train. Then both friends decided to come to this word for a few days to lead a series of classes there for many of the new Padawans that had joined the Order recently and needed some instruction. Of course, not all of the Padawans were new, but a fair majority of them were. This evening the class would be focusing in on the basics of the Force and of being a Jedi in general.

So, here the young knight was after making his way out of the truly stunning resort and onto one of the nearby beaches. The sunset was beautiful and cast a lovely shade of orange on the azure sky. Kai didn't want to go too far for his two students today would be young, the oldest fifteen, the other one would be ten years old! Kai was glad to see that there was interest, though, and Kai had taken these two while Jade had taken two others; he only hoped she would be up to the challenge of teaching.

Taking a seat on the soft sand, the knight crossed his legs and enjoyed the last little bit of light for the day as the cool evening breeze blew across the beach. It didn't take long for the Padawans to find him; he hadn't made himself exactly hard to find after all. When they arrived he turned towards each of them and smiled, taking in the two girls before him. He had met both of them before, though in all fairness Kai made it a point of meeting as many of the new Padawans as possible. "Welcome, young Padawans. Have you two introduced yourselves to each other, yet? I'm glad that you managed to find your way here, are you ready to start today's lesson?"

It was beautiful

The scenery around her was amazing. The air was calming, the sand shifted gently shifted between her feet. This location was serene-it made her feel at peace. She had yet to feel much stress here, and hadn't been overloaded with emotion ether. She was happy for that.

She was Aldo happy to have Kai as a mentor, not to say dhr didn't want the other Jedi as a teacher... but she was already pretty familer with Kai, thus it was more comfertable.

And when she came upon Kai's locstion-another not far from her, he quickly asked questions... again...

Honestly Solara had remained silent when they had all been gathered together, if only to prevent embarsment. Their was a fair amount they spoke of that Sol hadn't understood and because of that had chosen to remain silent.

"I.... did not, sorry"

Upon answering her master she turned to face the other student, giving a light bow in greeting.

"Hello, I'm Solara"

Formality was good right?

"Stay safe, and be worry of the Jedi. I don't care if their is a new council or whatever. After what you have told me, you need to be careful." Those were the last words that Aura had told her adopted sister, Korra, although the Mandalorian Padawan believed that she had nothing to worry about. After what had happened on Endor, Korra had bee somewhat shaken by the Order, but she would still serve the galaxy as a guardian of peace, albeit in her own unique way.

Korra had arrived on Neimera a few weeks prior to her the class she was about to attend. She had to admit that this place was amazing, and the peaceful nature hear was something very few people had a luxury of experiencing. In addition to that, the Mandalorian Padawan was also happy she had journeyed to numerous worlds since she joined the Order, and she knew their were more worlds that she would visit.

The Mandalorian walked to her teacher, and her fellow Padawan, bowing to them in a respectful manner. "Hello, my name is Korra." she stated respectfully, her tone showing that she was happy to be in the lesson

The young knight continued to sit and listen as the Padawans introduced themselves to each other. Kai knew that Solara could be easily embarrassed and often had problems in groups due to her empathic abilities and how easy it was for her to read and feel another's emotions, especially in larger groups. With that in mind, Kai was happy to teach her and Korra as a smaller group so Solara wouldn't be overwhelmed and so he could hopefully teach them both in a more one-on-one scenario. "There is no reason to apologize, Solara. You did nothing wrong. We are here to learn about the Force and the basics of being a Jedi. Now, if there is there is nothing else please take a seat!" Kai smiled as he motioned for both of the young girls to sit across from him so they would form a triangle of sorts. Once they were all seated, he would begin.

"Now, to begin I'd like us to start with a simple meditation and sensing drill. It won't be too hard, but it should serve as a decent warm up for what we'll be doing later." The young man took a breath before continuing, letting the Padawans and himself to collect their thoughts. Kai took a few seconds for himself, hoping that he'd be able to teach these Padawans something new. Once he was ready he spoke. "Now, first things first. I want you to begin to meditate. Start by quieting your mind. Focus on your breathing, then once you have achieved that I want you to focus on the Force. Feel it, let it flow over you and through you. Let all the background noise fade away and simply focus on the energy that connects us. When you've done that I want you to focus on the way the Force connects to me and interacts with me. Feel the energy of my aura in the Force. Try and interpret it, if in doubt let the Force guide you, trust in your instincts. Once you're ready I want you two to try and feel what I'm thinking about by focusing in on my aura. Go ahead, give it a shot. Don't worry if you have some trouble. Just take your time and do your best." With that, Kai smiled at them before closing his eyes and began to meditate, focusing on how soothing the ocean sounded.
