Athena listened carefully, and nodded in approval of the senator's words. When Alderaan spoke up, she walked closer to the edge of Perelandrea's pod and grasped its edge. "I concur."

 

[Wing]

Judah heard Alcor's suggestion about the temporary moving of the Senate. "Corellia... concurs with the Senator of Alderaan." Judah then sat down and whispered to his CorSec Chief of Security and asked him how many CorSec agents were on Coruscant. His chief told them roughly fifty agents. "But, what of the Jedi? Are they prepared to stay here?"

 

[Ols]

"Where the Jedi go is their own business," said Lana, becoming more sure of herself by the minute, "but asking for their counsel would be a wise step, thinks the Senator of Zeltros. Perhaps even asking for aid might be an idea, for the Alsakans are a tough enemy. Zeltros worries for the Republic's ability to win on it's own."

 

[Wing]

"If they are so willing to give us counsel, they should also come with us." Judah thought for a moment. "For protection that is."

 

[Ols]

He's against involving them unless they're going to look after him? Hypocrite. She thought angrily. She wanted to speak with venom in her voice, but she fought to control her tonge and waited for the opinions of the others.

 

[Wing]

They're probably thinking against me. Using that Corellian stubborness prejudice most people have of Corellians. Well, if the Jedi want to help, make useful help. Don't bore us with uneeded counsel. Judah sent a message to the Senator of Zeltros asking her to speak in private after the adjourning of the session.

Lana looked at the datapad in front of her as it beeped softly. What does he want? She sent a message back in acquiescence, though, it was best to humour her colleagues, and to keep those who she may need as allies sweer, regardless of what she really thought. She looked to the Chancello, waiting not only for her response but perhaps a return message for the one she had sent moments before.

A laugh eminated from the rotunda of the Caridian Senator. ''Oh, Corellia! Such am odd statement! if we wish council, then they will come to us! And how would they know we need their council? How, i ask you?'' He turned away from the Corellian senator, his shaved head a pale spot in the darkness. ''Caridia believs that, at the very least, her ladyship should be removed, along with her aides. If they capture senators, then all the planets have to do is appoint a stand in. If the Alsakans win, and take her ladyship, then they have true power, as we cannot replace her. Caridia also advocated contacting the Jedi. The guardians of peace seem to have the most apt title for this situation, no?''

"The Senator of Zeltros thinks that debating whether or not to discuss our actions in the middle of a war zone is a time consuming point. And it is consuming time that we are running out of. I motion that an envoy be sent to the Jedi council at once, asking for advice at this stage. I also motion that the Senate relocate as quickly as possible. While it may well be easy to assign another Senator to represent a planet, risking the majority of the Senators' lives is a risk I don't think the Republic can take. I emplore you to hurry, as the battle rages every single one of us here is kept in danger. The battle is too close for us to feel safe here. Coruscant is not safe at the moment."

"The Senator of Zeltros thinks that debating whether or not to discuss our actions in the middle of a war zone is a time consuming point. And it is consuming time that we are running out of. I motion that an envoy be sent to the Jedi council at once, asking for advice at this stage. I also motion that the Senate relocate as quickly as possible. While it may well be easy to assign another Senator to represent a planet, risking the majority of the Senators' lives is a risk I don't think the Republic can take. I emplore you to hurry, as the battle rages every single one of us here is kept in danger. What would happen if a ship is blown out of orbit and crashes here, or a stray missile happens to be heading right for us? Coruscant is not safe at the moment."

Judah conversed with his two advisers for a few moments then went to his pod's podium. "Corellia withdraws it's opposition vote concerning the Jedi, and vote for the Jedi to give us counsel and whatever aid the Chancellor sees fit."

Relana sighed thankfully as Corellia retracted their opposition. "We must prepare swiftly, we shall use the cover of our fleet to flee the planet. Those who wish to stay, I shall not oppose you. But, I cannot stay. You shall receive coded messages of vital information in the coming days. This session is over." Relana said as her podium began to lower to the ground, her guard surrounding the base as she swiftly left the grand hall.

"Madam Chancellor, the battle is nigh over, our fleet has been nearly decimated. They have been ordered to fight off the Union until you have escaped." One of her Senior Guards spoke hushed.

"It was only a matter of time. Are the ships prepared, as I had asked?" Relana asked, her voice eerily calm.

"Yes madam Chancellor. Your ship is ready, and more are on standby for any Senators in need of a fast ship." Her guard replied. His voice was stressed. He did not want to abandon his homeworld.

"Alright, have the other Senators been informed?"

"Information has been sent to their advisers, many have already taken precautions."

Relana sighed heavily, her face wrinkled with worry. "Alright, inform the fleet that we shall be leaving within the few minutes."
