Fate Throws Yet Another Curveball...

[Darman]

Takashi sat next to his near partner, ignoring the stares of various people checking his weapons, and placed his helmet on the table. Sighing, Takashi turned to face Emi and began to tap his foot against the Coruscant land.

"Is there any one else you'd like to kill? I don't want this nice weather to got to waste."

 

[Captain Kara]

She stopped and looked at him then shook her head, "Not really...once I'm finish here we can figure what we are doing?"

She continued sipping her soup. Finally finished she set down the bowl and slid the card paying for the soup. She stood and walked out the door.

"Do you do anything but fight...I mean you can't always be fighting or drinking." She said with a wondering tone in her voice.

 

[Darman]

"Why not?"

Takashi scratched the back of his head, following by Emi's side. After a few moments, Takashi grinned and shrugged.

"I build some things when I have free time. Helps the mind."

 

[Captain Kara]

"Interesting...very interesting. So who should we go to get a job. Have you any contacts?" Emi says smiling at the intriguing man.

 

[Darman]

"Not for specific jobs, but I can always find something to do on planets like this. There is always some needy person who wants their work to be done by someone else. And that's where we would come in."

Takashi stared towards the sky as the two walked along side, but after a moment he looked back to Emi.

"If we just open our eyes, I'm sure we'll find someone soon."

 

[Captain Kara]

She laughed a little at his comment then put her fingers on her eyes and opened them wide, "Okay their open!" After removing her hands, she looked at Takashi wondering something to herself. She smiles at her Takashi then says, "So tell me more about yourself?"

 

[Darman]

"Well, I guess you could say I've had an interesting past. Growing up, I've either been learning or teaching fighting skills in an academy. I've worked on a few different planets and met one of the most important people in the galaxy...Mandalore. Well, I guess I did a bit more than just meet him."

Smiling, Takashi remebered his experience on Tatooine with the Mandalorian leader. He also remebered how many times he was close to his death in their little encounter. Ah, good times indeed.

 

[Captain Kara]

"Sounds like you, Takashi, have lead an eventful life. Mine is a little less...eventful...former sex slave who became an assassin and thief through hard work and skill." She said remembering her earlier days. She moved in closer to Takashi almost hip-to-hip, "You know what I like you...I like you a lot."

 

[Darman]

"You're not so bad yourself."

Takashi grinned and put his arm around his new friend, still walking along the Coruscant streets.

 

[Captain Kara]

Emi wrapped her arm around Darman then asked, "So do you have a place to stay for the night? I mean it is pretty late and if you didn't have a place...there is a bed at my place...an empty one I mean...I mean a guest bed."

Her face reddened with embarrassment, she didn't know why she was stumble to get her thoughts out or why she was acting to funny.

 

[Darman]

Takashi rose an eyebrow and grinned slightly, then nodded to Emi. As the two continued on, the moon Coruscant began to rise, and streetlights began to light up the night.

"Lead the way Emi. I'll sleep wherever you put me."
