I was hoping you guys, aside from Matt, would focus on the traits/facts between the two instead of just the picture... not trying to bash your opinions, but the picture does not make the profile alone.

I meant all of it.
So what you're saying is that no matter how well written a profile can be, if the picture is not to your liking, you're not going to like it or take the profile seriously.
When you said you agreed with Boli. I'm pretty sure he commented on the Piccolo picture alone and nothing else. Though I'm glad that's not the case. When did I say that?
I'm aware they are not original, it's just the thing I had in mind for the characters, but I respect your opinion on them. The picture choices, however awful aren't the only thing that bothers me, what you have written underneath them is very chopy and pretty unoriginal, I'm just being critical here, don't take it personally.
IMO the Jedi picture is a little silly, but I'm of the stance that it is possible to look past a picture and take the character it represents seriously. I use abstract pictures on my profiles sometimes, yet it doesn't mean that my character has an eye where his mouth should be. It's the same with the Dragonball picture: Just because its from the anime it doesn't mean its representing anything in any way to do with the original context. Provided the character is written well, is believable and feels real anyone who takes the time to read them will not be bothered by the picture.
A).
Very well said, Thank you.IMO the Jedi picture is a little silly, but I'm of the stance that it is possible to look past a picture and take the character it represents seriously. Also an original character idea isn't the maker or breaker of a good character. Writing capability plays a huge part in whether or not a character comes alive in the readers mind - An original yet poorly written character comes a distant second to a somewhat tired concept executed flawlessly (or at least in my books).
I'm assuming that picture was meant to show Spongebob Squarepants. If so, then there is a huge difference between making a profile with an unpopular pic and making say... a Sith Lord who looks like the yelloy teletubby. Not a knock at Mulluns but that is rubbish.
If I had this as my picture.
You could take it seriously? Bet you couldn't. :CHappy

Eh? What does it show for you?

If it represents the character in a feasible way, then yeah sure you can look past it, if it doesn't, then all it does is serve as a distraction, they're also a way of attracting a viewer to want to read the entire profile.IMO the Jedi picture is a little silly, but I'm of the stance that it is possible to look past a picture and take the character it represents seriously.

Again, I never said it was.Just because its from the anime it doesn't mean its representing anything in any way to do with the original context.
When Mulluns pulls that off, I'll believe it, but right now from what he's shown, I'm not seeing that. But it's possible.Provided the character is written well, is believable and feels real anyone who takes the time to read them will not be bothered by the picture.

I was thinking of that image as well, haha. I decided not to use it, though. Maybe our characters can work together in the next timeline.
