Fifth Timeline: Independent Factions

Having 'the fuzz' on our tail would be awesome. So far, just through coming up with backstory, our crew will have somehow done enough to piss off the Republic, the Sith, and the Mandos...so we're not exactly the most popular with any form of government lol.

Broke ass gang of 3. Literally no credits to start, no weapons or homes, or ships. Probably only a broken bottle between the three of them. Potential to be the strongest group ever based on starwars logic? I think so.

Funny. I have a group of three planning to commandeer a pirate ship and wreak havoc on the universe...

Funny. I plan on making an assassin/bounty who has no limits on bounties. You smugglers/mercs have been warned.

As Raxus alluded to, I am working on creating a independent faction. I've already spoken with three others who plan on creating at least one character for it. As he said, its going to be a Hutt family called the Vesajilic Clan, though the clan is more an umbrella organization than anything else for there will be a few organizations within the clan. First there will be the Vesajilic Kajidic, which is your typical criminal Hutt syndicate involved in smuggling, slaves, bounties, spice and ect ect.

I hear a lot of other people interested in mafias, crime groups, Hutt cartels and smuggling, I highly look forward to working with/against and interacting with you all! I also encourage anyone that is interested in that stuff but isn't too set on creating a faction to speak with me and discuss doing their creation within the Vesajilic clan.

Besides the Kajidic the clan will also own a business called the Vesa Corporation. The purpose of the Vesa Corporation will be two-fold, first of all it will serve as a legal business front to the rest of the clans activities. But it will be a functioning and profitable pursuit of the Hutts, a factory that manufactures battle droid and arms, ideal to allow the Vesajilics to profit of the war going on (and encourage them to work towards starting additional wars to increase their demand).

Finally, the Vesajilics will be known for their love for violence and bloodthirstiness and I am toying around with the idea of establishing a gladiator arena on whatever planet they live on for bloodsports. Think the pod racing track on tatooine, but instead gladiator sports...the cool RP potential I think about this that players could get involved with dueling matches and such. I would think some people would be interested in playing some gladiators no? Or even just normal characters trying their luck at it for fame and fortune.

As always I am more than happy for anyone to approach me now that wants to discuss creating characters for this faction, or thinks there future characters/indie factions will want to interact. Its all obviously in the brainstorming stage so there is plenty of rooms for ideas and adjustments.

Edit: Oh I forgot. I hear everyone talking about wanting a central bounty thread, I would be more than happy to manage and administer such a thread. The Vesajilics could run a bounties brokerage. It could be a thread updated to display all the bounties open, and have a place to submit new bounties. Also if people were interested they could even RP making the exchange with one of the Hutts, think the scene in Jabbas palace with chewie. Of course if people just want to collect their money they could automatically do so.

I will be doing something. A lot more passive and less hectic then JG. A lot more focussed on just profit, business. It will also be a bit more lawless in nature (I want to start something a bit like Corporate sector authority. atleast in nature. In lawless space, no boundaries. etc)

Expect the cool thing about the name Black Sun is that it has a irony thing going for it...White Moon is well....most moons in the sense we think of them.

Was thinking about making an indie faction as it happens. Dunno if I will get round to it, but it was going to be based on anti-Sith sentiment. Probably quite a small group in practice revolving around guerilla warfare and acts of terror to undermine the Sith.

I'm planning on putting together some kind of vigilante group, based around truly 'exceptional' individuals. Exceptional even by the standards of the RP; in that these peeps will be 'super'. Or at least, as super as they can be. So think an Avengers style group, grounded firmly in reality, whose motives are (largely) good but shrouded in mystery and whatnots.
