Pow, done. Only thing left is some minor technical fluff here and there for the products list but that's it. Oh, and a banner and some minor formatting, but that's just visual fluffiness.

Targus Industries

In the years following the Unification War, Targus has grown to be the Kushari Federation’s single most powerful corporation. Its holdings stretch across the Kushari’s solar system, with countless mining stations, manufacturing plants, and orbital installations dotting the skies between the Homeworld and the outermost reaches of Federation space.

It is a major driving force in Federation economy and boasts an incredibly diverse product line, producing everything from computer components to foodstuffs to military warships and weaponry. Unfortunately, its size is a double-edged sword; to prevent Targus from becoming too powerful, it is subjected to considerable government oversight and scrutiny, and is thus tightly regulated in its home system.

This has lead some to dub Targus a ‘state sponsored corporation’, which is very much so correct. Although it is tightly regulated, the Federation purchases all weapons, vehicles, equipment, and other military and domestic hardware through Targus, thus giving Targus complete dominance in the military firearm, vehicle, and starship markets.

Furthermore, now that Targus is under the management of Jun Sajuuk-Sjet, the corporation’s Research and Development departments are flourishing. The pace of technological development has increased tenfold, and Targus has managed to successfully reverse engineer much of the technology captured during the Kushari’s First Contact with the outside galaxy. This has lead to the Federation-wide adoption of repulsorlift systems, laser cooling technology, advanced metallurgy, the development of practical and lightweight energy weapons, and so much more.

There is little doubt that Targus is the tip of the spear in all matters - from research to manufacturing, this super corporation is superior to all other Federation companies and boasts the most successful track record of any company in the history of the Kushari. With Targus firmly entrenched in Federation space, there is no doubt that its dominance is assured and that it will continue to be a major force for generations to come.

DEPARTMENTS

Administration

The Administrative team is the glue that holds Targus together. A vast swarm of bookkeepers, accountants, marketing specialists, corporate planners, managers, and more, Administration serves as the head of the dragon that is Targus.

Positions Available:
[Ask me.]

Research and Development

If Administration is the head of Targus, then the R&D team is the heart and soul. An all-star team of the Federation’s most brilliant scientists and engineers, the Research department is responsible for the creation and refinement of new systems and technology, and has designed or improved everything that Targus manufactures today.

Positions Available:
Director of Research
Head researcher
Researcher
Researcher’s Assistant

Manufacturing

Manufacturing provides the means by which Targus remains operational. A team of skilled and dedicated engineers, craftsmen, and technicians, Manufacturing handles all production and maintenance duties for Targus. If it’s produced by Targus, then someone in Manufacturing created it.

Positions Available:
Director of Manufacturing
Foreman
Engineer
Technician [Maintenance only]

SIGINT

While Targus relies heavily on the Federation Military to provide security for its installations and convoys, it handles internal disputes and investigations with a security force known as SIGINT. Small but elite, SIGINT tackles problems of industrial espionage and sabotage, it investigates corporate spies, and it tracks down and eliminates pirates and other criminal elements. They are heavily armed, exceptionally well trained, and equipped with the very best weapons and technology available to Targus. Due to their low numbers and value, SIGINT is only deployed when absolutely necessary. Furthermore, its existence is a well-kept secret, with only a select few in the Corporation and Government aware of it.

Positions Available:
Director
Field Agent
Agent
Trainee

Why would Targus have those resources if they're a part of the Kushari Federation, who are apparently unknown to the rest of the galaxy? 0.o

What resources, specifically, are you talking about? If it's the technology, it's explained in the federation write-up, which this is actually a component of.

Also, the plan with Targus is to have them create a subsidiary in the galaxy at large once the Federation mixes in with the rest of society. That should keep them balanced, since they'll have to build up the subsidiary corporation to be able to compete with other corporations.

"tons upon tons of advanced ballistic weaponry, warships, starfighters, and armored fighting vehicles, along with custom-built armor, weapons, ships, and what-have you."

I guess I'll just skim through the Federation write-up when it's up then!

The federation write-up is linked in my sig, but none of the technical fluff is up. I'm focusing on that dead last. I've got about 11 pages of infantry armor and guns written though, and a few pages of fighters, dropships, and warships. I haven't even started on AFV's and IFV's though. Sooo muuuch fluuufffffffyyneesssss. D=

I'll post CRANE's write-up later. For now, it'll be seperate, but eventually join with Targus.

Does anyone want to create a political party in the Republic? Perhaps it could have its own agenda or even help some of the corporations who pay some of their members?

I'm in. My Senator was gonna control an Indie corporation, so this would work well.

I was thinking of setting up a party where at least one plank would be environmentalism with an attempt at moving some people into space to allow more land for nature. Perhaps it could be funded by some construction companies who would profit from building such structures? Also, I was thinking one plank could be that they would try to end the war as quickly as possible. Perhaps by arranging that other factions handle the Sith threat while the Republic spends money to improve the environment?

Any thoughts on the idea?

I'm looking for one more interested person for my faction. We have around five members that will be ready by next week (heavy work schedules prevented them from having their character applications done on time), but to be able to open up the faction on time, we need one more willing participant.

Our faction can more or less be compared to one of the many warlord led factions of the Imperial Remnants following the fall of the Empire. We're essentially a good guy version of the Empire, unlike the Imperial Knights who are only Force users and the Imperial Rebels who are traitors! >.<!

But yeah, Uncle Casval wants YOU!

So, the Imperial Rebels are traitors for refusing to work with the Sith, yet your Imperials are somehow good guys whereas the Sith-lead Imperials are bad guys? You might want to delve into some detail here, because right now that makes zero sense.

Was more or less a joke. Of course we're technically traitors too and would be executed for treason if the Sith-led Empire ever caught us.
