Dantell's barrage of blaster shots flew at Leiden. Instead of wasting the time to block all of them individually, Leiden simply threw up a force bubble surrounding him, blocking the shots, but at the same time making it impossible for Leiden to attack Dantell.

As Leiden's shield went down, James ran at him. Leiden easily dodged all of James blows, except for one while Leiden was redirecting flying debris, which led to his robe being charred severley. James fell to his knees and began to beg...another sign of weakness.

Leiden stretched out a hand to grasp Dantell through the force. He drug her across the ground to the front of James. He then proceeded to take her blasters from her as well, and throw them to the side. Leiden then grasped his cane in one hand, a small purple blade expanded from the top of the cane. He pointed it down, aiming at Dantell's throat.

* Either you kill her or I kill her and you... *

Dantell couldn't stop the soft groan that escaped her throat as she got dragged across the ground. She was being kept in place by what she knew had to the force and she watched helplessly as her blasters fell to the side. She showed no regret and no fear, just complete anger as she glared at Leiden, defying the blade at her throat as if it was nothing even though in her heart she knew it meant death. But she had been a soldier all her life and she had never expected to grow old.

She struggled and tried to get up, not once stopping the relentless movement even if it was futile. She would never stop fighting, never stop trying and even now she would not be still. Feeling a slight buzz coming from her pocket though, she suddenly relaxed a bit and rested her head back onto the hard ground, a strange laugh coming from deep in her throat.

Dantell was not just a smuggler. She lead an army of merchants, smugglers, vagabonds, and more importantly, mercenaries. She couldn't help but laugh as she looked up at Leiden. Even if she was killed now, he had another thing coming. Even Sith Lords were not invincible.

A large ship dropped from the sky and hovered above, the hot air it pushed off from its engines stirring up the dust and small pebbles on the ground, and as the side doors rolled open men poured out coming down on cables or rope. Opening fire immediately on Leiden, about 13 men and women fired without stopping ignoring James for the most part as he did not look like a threat to Dantell.

The force that had been holding her down suddenly let up and Dantell rolled over, pushing herself up as she grabbed her blasters. She signalled in sign language, quick movements with her fingers and nodded towards James. She wasn't going to leave him with this monster, even if it was just to have justice on her own terms for the loss of Korvane and Jon. While half the people never stopped their assualt on Leiden, the others covered Dantell and James who was being dragged along by two men. Grabbing onto a cable and clipping it to her belt, Dantell aimed her blaster and Leiden and smiled darkly as she was pulled up. She never bothered to fire, but she kept it aimed at him while imagining his death.

James and the other men and women were still being pulled up when the ship started rising and veering off, setting course to move away from the area. Dantell grabbed onto the edge of the doorway and pulled herself in, unclipping her belt before turning to grab and pull the rest in.

It was a close escape but she knew he would come again. At any rate, today would not be the day she died.

Dantell's laughter confused Leiden if anything. He stopped staring down James and instead turned his attention to the sky. He could feel the hate and anger in the air. He loosened his grip on Dantell, as a ship appeared out of the air. Instantly mercs began jumping out of the ship. Today had not been Leiden's lucky day. He completely released Dantell, allowing her to roll out of the way of the barrage of shots now coming towards him.

He threw up a force shield in front of him again, focusing all of his energies on keeping it up. From behind Leiden, the vessel that had brought him to the planet landed. It was a personal ship that could house about ten crew mates. As Leiden reinforced his shield from the onslaught of fire power. Ten highly trained Imperial Stormtroopers exited the ship, Leiden's personal unit.

They set up in ranks and began countering the untrained mercs attack. It was too late though, the main ship was gone with James and Dantell on it. The mercs that had been left behind were merely a distraction. Leiden dropped his shield in rage, and released a powerful force storm. Killing the last of the stranded mercs.

He turned to his troopers.

* You were a little late boys...perhaps you should learn something from this... *

Leiden shuffled up the ramp of his ship and sat in his meditation chambers. Very shyly, the pilot peeked his head in.

* would you like us to pursue them sir? *

* No... *

Is all that Leiden said before his ship rose, and flew out of the planets atmosphere...returning to the sith controlled planets...

It all happened so suddenly, in a mtter of moments james was pulled from te ground and was now ascending to a ship. His eyes still were locked on leiden as he battled the multiple individuals. As james was being pulled onto the ship he could hear the multiple crys of the people attacking leiden. A deep anger burned within james as he could hear these people dying. So many people were losing their lives for him and james couldnt ear the thought. He gritted his teeth as the ship pulled up and turned to dantell he stood at edge of the door way he had to shout alittle so she could hear him speak.

"As long as you and i are together he will hunt us both without rest! We have to split up! And besides i cant leave this planet yet! Not until my mission is done. I wont ask you to drop me off anywhere you would put yourself in danger....and youve done more then enough for me!"

james reached underneath his shirt and ripped a chain with a key card connected to it."

"Take this! There is a vault just under the surace of hoth, inside there is a star map with a planet where you and your men can take assylum. The man we faught today is a very powerfull sith lord within the sith empire and will have you all hunted and executed this is your only way of truely being safe! I will meet you at hoth, wait for me there for three days and turn myself over to you and your men for punishment. If i do not arrive it means i was killed! Be safe dantell."

and with that james took off his tattered robe and wiped the blood from his face, wearing only light clothes he fell backwards out of the ship and towards the ground. He plummeted to the ground for a few seconds before back flipping and landing on his feet. James clipped his light saber to his waist and bolted towards his destination, the jedi temple. James knew that if he could make it to the temple leiden could not enter, atleast not openly. He sped up his pace so that even if leiden was following he would have a hard time trying to catch both dantell and james. James had hard stories of darth leiden and coulsnt believe that this mans abilities far surpassed them, he would have to train a lifetime just to pose any kind of threat to leiden.

Dantell hissed as she watched him plummet back to the surface but when her men asked if they were going to pursue James she shook her head.

Looking at the keycard in her hand her first instinct was to toss it out of the still closing hatch but she shook her head and made her way to the cockpit, giving the co-ordinates for Hoth. She wanted James to pay for what he did, but she set her watch to time three days exactly and if he did not pitch up he would have more than Leiden hunting him.

Sitting down in her private room, the bustling of the ship blocked out of her mind, she went through the events of the day. Her heart was heavy from the loss of life but hatred and loathing filled it as well. Leiden was not worth it though. She already started to work it out of her spirit as she sat, knowing that the likes of him was not worth a second thought and she would not give him that satisfaction.

The trip to Hoth would take a few hours, so she sat back, her body stiff from the bruises forming. It had been a hard day, but Hoth was not a terrible place to be. It was a good rebel area with many bases under the frozen ice and it would be safe for a few days while they waited for James. She had no intention to go to the planet he suggested, but wait for him she would. For now.
