Gunning it through the Al'doleem landscape, on a pair of 88-V Ranger Landspeeders, Q'san and his squad of two other agents (NPCs), and a Sith Acolyte he came to know as @Sythe were tasked with the assault of a small enclave base just outside the main rebel base of operations on the planet. Light had not broken through the early morning sky yet as they approached the small outpost, located on the bank of one of the many rivers of Al'doleem.
The Base itself was small in stature, likely at one point a listening outpost, with one small, central building, built mostly underground, with a landing pad atop it, made with thick duracrete walls inside and out. Maintaining an outwardly minimalist appearance, on top of being rundown to a significant degree, it's understandable why one would use this particular building as a small base. Most of the interior of the base was situated underneath the earth, with a vast majority of the lower levels being closed off due to either a cataclysmic earthquake, or a bombardment of sorts from centuries prior, leaving the main corridor, with six accessible rooms large enough for a single operative to live in, and the actual listening station, with rows of long since dismantled computers and the long desks they sat upon, along with one barren wall, where one could assume was used for overhead projections. The outside was bare, with duracrete walls, with a rusted fence lining the tops of them, and a landing pad.
Approaching from the Northwest, the four operatives came upon the base from an uphill position, Q'san and his (NPC) passenger, stopped at the edge of the hill, before dipping down the hill, to scope out the area, through the lenses of their binoculars. Q'san wore his typical armor, four frag grenades, a Pugio Blaster Pistol and a Javelin Light Repeater, with two reloads, totaling three, with one loaded into the weapon, instead of his usual Stun Scattergun, as this mission called for lethality, rather than taking prisoners, and Q'san would oblige his Emperor's wishes, with gusto.
"Regular shithole, this place," Q'san said, to no one in particular, as he scanned the outside of the building from his position 25 meters, as he looked through the NV-enabled binoculars he'd borrowed for the mission, "That being said, though, I don't see a soul, or vehicle on this side," he added, with a bit of disappointment in his voice.
"I say we swing around to the other side, to see what we see, before moving in on the base, itself," he said, directly to the Sith accompanying him.
