Coruscant was in a state of emergency that stretched across its entire surface, nowhere was safe during this time as the sounds of battles raged on in the distance. The Jedi in this sector were tasked with retrieving a sample and they were given no further information on the sample. Coordinates were given and they were well within the temple limits but not exactly anywhere the small team themselves had been. Most of the area had been bombed out and rather thoroughly it seemed as they dismounted from their transport vehicle. Four armed soldiers accompanied R'ashtaro, a Fiani who was the leader of this excursion.

As they set themselves further into the destroyed territory, smolders ruins were burning were sizzling with whatever chain reactions activated themselves upon the detonation over the rubble mixed of stone and metal.

As they would press further in, they noted the land itself around them was either built lower here or the impact of the bombs simply collapsed part of what appeared to be a facility that existed between two floors. In otherwise, there was an entire floor that wasn't accessible by normal means. By this point it was becoming apparent they were in the right spot to find something that they already didn't have information on.

Technically speaking they were still above this false floor but they were unsure of what they should do. The squad leader of the armed detail motioned to the opening before them, two lights on his helmet appearing almost like eyes as they lit up. "We'll deploy a drone, this'll only take a second." With a small flip of a button on his belt the squad leader pulled out a small spherical bot that he gave a gentle squeeze as it seemingly breathed to life with a glow and hum.

The soldier then tossed it inside the dark opening before them as it seemingly began to float in the black void before it began emitting lights all around itself, flashing and strobing these lights to take reading and give them a 3d layout of what was ahead. So long as the feed kept it, with one free hand the squad leader focused on his wrist and watched a first person holo-graphic display of the bot's live feed. His free hand swayed left and right lazily as the bot floated about the undiscovered area.

The bot scanned and scanned until it identified a plate that had survived the bombing which normally would have been attached to the wall as it zoomed in closer. The plate described a medical facility of some kind but they were unsure what was different about this one until suddenly something could be heard behind the bot before the live feed was suddenly cut, the equipment clearly destroyed.

The soldiers immediately drew their weapons, aiming at the entrance leading into this strange facility. Someone was here.

As the soldiers trained their blasters on the entrance, the Jedi - a red-coated Reiko Fiani by the name of R'ashtaro - drew his lightsaber. He exchanged a look with the commander. Before they were boots on the ground, they had discussed the possible obstacles they could potentially run into whilst trying to retrieve the sample they were sent to find. With the chaos and mayhem happening on-world, they knew in advance that they were unlikely to complete their mission without complications. Now, who or what made up said complication was the first point of consideration.

The Fiani Knight gave the commander a nod, signaling that he could deploy his men and send them into the building. The floor level where the bot was taken out did not look immediately accessible, but both R'ashtaro and the squad of soldiers were resourceful. Plus, the Jedi had a lightsaber. That was normally a cheat code that could give access the even the most locked-down locations.

R'ashtaro followed the soldiers through the entrance. His lightsaber thrummed alive in his hands, bathing the room in a teal-colored glow. The soldiers expertly split into two groups, each hugging the wall as closely as they could so as to minimize their area of exposure. R'ashtaro himself stayed visible in the middle of the room. He had his Force powers to rely on, a natural early-warning system against dangers. He reached out with it, probing his surroundings for any tell-tale signatures.

"Whoever you are," he yelled, "now is your chance to put down whatever you've taken from here and leave this place. Do that, and we won't hold it against you, no? We've got our own business to attend to."
