Ziost

Ziost, the gateway to the empire of older times, a rocky world that was also one of the most important places for the sith, once a homeworld to the sith species of old. It just made sense that a deranged sith deserter would come to such a place, the dark side strong, the civilian presence small and the places to hide in many, but he wouldn't be long for this world because the inquisitorius had their sights on him, the things he studied were as powerful as they were dangerous in the wrong hands, knowledge that should belong to the empire and the empire only...But he wasn't one of them anymore.

Today, Anai Skhess had been tasked to go hunting, a mission given to her by her superiors in the inquisitorius, who knew very well how to test those within the organization. She had been given two companions to work with: An acolyte which she had met and got along with and an agent which she had met and fought before, both of them in the same event. Anai may have had opinions of them, but they were opinions they would not see, for they weren't going on a mission with Anai Skhess, they had joined inquisitor Xander.

"The sith master we're about to fight here will be unhinged, unstable...And powerful" Xander spoke as they had arrived to his hideout, Anai's voice deep and resemblant of a male thanks to the voice changer of her armor, her inquisitor persona being made to throw them completely off in all aspects "Reports indicate he hides deep within this cavern, a place that exudes of the dark side much more than the average place in this planet" Which was saying a lot, given the roots of Ziost.

"Our objective is simple, kill the sith master, his creations and retrieve any knowledge he might've left in this place." Xander looked back at the two, the gaze of the inquisitor hidden behind her helmet "You're working under the inquisitorius today, you can not afford to fail or drag the others down, understood?" Anai drove that last point home, aiming it to the both of them, she wanted to see how they would act under pressure, every mission was a test for everyone involved and any information she could get out of them was an advantage for the organization that trusted no one.

It was almost time for Bel to go deep undercover, but he felt that he needed to serve his Empire before he became affiliated completely with the Black Sun crime syndicate. Of course, the goal of this operation was to gain a huge foothold of the criminal underworld for the Empire. All was going well, but missions like these either needed to be done under some sort of alias he had yet to come up with, or he'd have seriously limit the amount of time he spent away from Ord Mantell.

"Leave none standing but no disintegrations..." Bel was garbed in his Senshi combat attire, a suit he seldom got to wore nowadays. It felt just as comfortable as the day he received it upon graduating from the ISB Academy. Today, the traitorous Sith Master would learn what it meant to abandon the Sith and sew destruction throughout it's ranks and systems. And... It was the same message Bel felt applied to himself and anyone else participating in this mission.

"Forgive me if I'm out of line, but I recommend we take this more quietly." The Inquisitorious had once grabbed the Zabrak's eye while he was training, but there was just something about the organization that never felt right to him. Maybe it was their fanatical loyalty- something Bel couldn't understand. He loved the Empire, but there certain parts of it he wished could disappear. Either way, this would be quite the learning experience for Bel as he figured out how these masked individuals operated and behaved.

Who knows? I might fall on their hit list one day- keep your friends close and your enemies closer...

This was the first time Luwalhati had ever set foot on the frigid lands of Ziost, accompanying an intimidating Inquisitor and the Zabrak agent the Acolyte had seen on two occasions. A mission as dangerous as their current undertaking would have made Lu hesitate before but the pink-haired Acolyte learned that they would not grow if they were too focused on keeping themself out of harm's way. There were a variety of things to be learned in combat and in facing danger, so it was only natural for the introverted and meek Sith to be signing up for and accepting combat missions. Self-preservation was still their top priority, if only to keep faith in their late Master's teachings about safeguarding the growing knowledge they have accumulated over the years.

Much like Bel, Lu was clad in a Senshi armor adjusted to the Acolyte's height and build. Lu held the helmet to the side as they stood at attention to listen to the Inquisitor's instructions. A Sith Master going rogue, refusing his superiors' summons after announcing an achieved advancement in his studies in Sith alchemy. Perhaps the man, driven mad by his studies, thought himself untouchable with his achievements. Or maybe going rogue was simply the product of an unhinged mind, one deeply obsessed with the knowledge and creations he had acquired and made. His actions undeniably put the Empire at risk, though, which warranted a death sentence looming over his head.

"My blade is at your disposal, Inquisitor Xander," said Lu dutifully. "I look forward to working with you and Agent Bel."

Acolyte or not, they were still steeped in the polite manners they have been taught. And while Lu didn't really look forward into battling whatever abominations the mad Sith Master had created, it was their sworn duty to be the Empire and the Empress' sword.

Lu waited for further instruction, only moving forward to follow the Inquisitor whichever way he saw to approach the mission. Whether if it was 'quiet' as Bel had suggested, or guns blazing. The Acolyte just wanted their hands on their target's findings and studies, if only to take whatever morsel of knowledge they could glean from the writings of a mad man.

Sith alchemy was very interesting, after all.
