Per my new OP template, thread is death enabled
If you took the Galactica and made it filled with poverty, desperation, and filth, you would get Omega. Ironically, it wasn't her first time being here, but this time she was the anonymous assassin Venatrix.

Wrapped up so that her identity was concealed behind a helmet and her red lightsaber was hidden away, she had left behind all the things that could tie her to her true self. Instead, she was just one more of innumerable regular people mulling about, trying to stay out of each other's way.

And so, she waited for him at the edge of the market. Behind her helmet, her eyes fell on one of the addicts who was already sampling of his new purchase, barely even able to make it out of the market before the snorting began. Her face twisted slightly into a sneer of judgment.

At least it means you can find anything, she thought to herself. Omega: the place to go if you want to get lost and you don't want anyone bothering you.

Teeka had not yet been briefed as to the purpose of today's mission. But, he hoped it involved some small degree of violence.

Swaggering (for that was the only way to describe it) down the 'road', Teeka tried to look menacing and failed. Instead, he appeared to just shuffle along like all Jawa, his junk cart in tow as he looked out for his squadmates. Blending into the market, Teeka pulled the cart to the side of the road, and immediately grabbed the hem of the robe of a passer buy.

"Neepa, utt-utt!" he thrust a metal pipe, what could have been part of a droid arm at the hapless by stander, rubbing his fingers together on his other hand to signify the need for payment. In this economy? This was a bargain.

While Teeka pulled the junk cart Mnee was pushing it. Following the lead he grabs another part and thrusts it up also signifying the need for payment. After being rejected throws the part back in the pile pulling out another. Continuously doing this until someone finally paid for an item giving him 250 credits a steal for sure in the jawas mind.

He looks over to his compatriot "Kava che janse piukiha bu manpanh." Wanting this to go smoothly rather than just selling wares.

Arla saw her partners approaching, and still couldn't quite get over the fact that Nakoa had recruited Jawas into Apex. But actually, maybe it was the perfect idea. Someone looked at a Wookiee or Trandoshan or even a Nightsister and they could stand out, but no one ever paid attention to Jawas. They were an avoided and often ignored section of the population, and that would make them excellent assassins.

Or at least, that was the reasoning in Arla's head.

She made her way over to the pair of Jawas, and although she didn't speak Jawese, the EZpods in her ears did the translating for her.

Teeka. Mnee, she said, giving a nod to them both. Although she hadn't worked with them before, she was confident they would hold up their end of the job.

I've got a meeting with someone in that building there, she said, motioning to one of the shops across the walkway. It should be an easy one, but if it turns out not to be, I want you to cover the exits, she said.

If all goes well, I'm hoping we can hide the new purchases in your things, she added. After all, they were already hauling around carts full of things. if they could bury some special gear under all those... questionably valuable, then that was all the better.

Questions? she asked. Better to get them out now than worry about it later.

"Neepa! Teeka responded helpfully, agreeing with the orders, and then shaking his head and making a thumbs-down sign to signify that he had no questions. Waving for Mnee to follow him, Teeka quickly swiped the hood ornament off of a nearby speeder, and jealously eyed up some of the gear on Arlas person; considering 'salvaging it'.

Deciding against it, for now, he waddled back to the cart, and thumbed on the repulsor, which took a few goes to get going.

Finally, he pushed the cart over to the side exit of the building, and blocked the door with it, busying himself with important Jawa business, whilst providing a perfect exit blocker for his Apex colleagues. Teeka, as was fast becoming obvious, was quite possible a tactical genius.

Mnee having unfaltering faith in his companion follows him to the exit aiding in his jawa business. He starts trying to sell various wares from his cart. He begins to wonder if teekas genius knows no bounds as this is brilliant.

Looking around excitedly as he begins selling some scrap. He thinks of how the lady mentioned using the carts to hide her items he switches to bartering items so he doesn't empty his cart to much. After this has been going on he begins focusing more on preparing for the lady to come back.

Easy enough, she thought to herself. They seemed ready to act, and Arla wasn't going to complain. She headed inside, and walked up to the counter in question.

I understand you have government-issued equipment? she said. She wasn't interested in explaining how she knew or anything like that, instead opting to set a huge stack of credits on the counter.

I need full ISC and Imperial kits. At least four of them, she said. The man behind the counter - a besalisk - just looked at her and nodded before leading her into the back. She knew that if he decided to double cross her, she could fight her way in and out, but she didn't sense betrayal in the air.

She followed him back, but kept her hand close to her saber just in case, becoming quite away of the whispers of her crystal in her ears.

She watched as the Besalisk began loading the appropriate gear into piles and wrapping them up to cover up what was inside.

Standby to receive gifts, she said into her comlink to both Jawas outside.

OOC: 84/100 for how well the meeting goes

---

Meanwhile, outside others had begun to notice the Jawas trying to sell their wares and while most tried to avoid eye contact or hold their wallets a bit more tightly, one decided that he didn't like Jawas. Possibly didn't like short people at all, actually.

You two. Scram outta here, the man said, a large Arcona with a blaster on his hip. It seemed perhaps he had already had a little too much to drink and wanted to stir up some trouble.

Arla received no response from her partners, and though she didn't know what exactly that meant, she assumed it wasn't anything good.

Add on a ship ID from Raxus and a cart for this all to go in, she said, throwing down more credits.

The man just shrugged, and went about his work. He was easy to work with and though he didn't say much, that was all the better. Arla kept him in mind for future Apex business. Anonymous business.

Pleasure workin with you, the man said, and Arla gave a nod before turning to leave with her new purchases.
