There had once been some form of Alliance or agreement between the Chiss Ascendancy and the burgeoning Sith Empire. But after the transfer of power from Andrul to Anaris it, along with a many other things, seems to have lapsed. The Empire was now neck deep in a war against a power it severely underestimated, scores of planets had already fallen to the might of the Consortium Military. The Empire still had peace treaties with both the New Republic and Free World Alliance, but how long they both would hold was a mystery to the entire Galaxy. And there was always the threat of the Jedi Order somewhere out there in the vast emptiness of Space, when would they attack again.
As such, the Sith needed external support, if not to fight directly against the Consortium to at least shore up their weaker flanks both domestically and on the borders of current neutral entities. The Ascendancy was perhaps the last strong independent force within the Galaxy which had not chosen a side yet. Wodan along with a representative from the ISB had been tasked with meeting with a Chiss delegation and securing the best possible alliance.
The meeting was scheduled in space, halfway between the borders of the Ascendancy and the old Sith kingdom of Avillion, unknowingly to both close to the borders of Exegol’s roaming defence fleet. A single Resurgent-Class Star Destroyer slipped out of Hyperspace at the determined coordinates, the remainder of the Sith Fleet were a short distance away just encase this turned into an ambush.
Wodan was dressed in a simple black military uniform, a heavy leather eyepatch sat over his missing eye covering a large portion of the scaring. “I wonder how long they will keep us waiting?” He asked the towering woman beside him.
