Cyutadakyr had been busy renovating a decrepit old lakeside manor for some time, the inclusion of some hired help had sped the process up quite nicely, although there was still much to do before it was complete. This didn't mean that the pureblood could rest on her laurels, though, and today she had a particular interest to attend to.
Standing in the courtyard of the manor, the Sith Master awaited the arrival of a fresh face from the academy in her thick winter coat. Standing tall and proud, she hoped to measure the character of this up-and-coming pureblood before assessing her suitability for further missions.
Occasionally, taller still warrior types in their fur coats and braided hair walked around the courtyard as they fulfilled their tasks of the day. From the outside at least, the large manor still had character even in its worse state, but its potential remained. Cyutadakyr hoped that in time, this potential could be unlocked and its full use obtained.
"Hello, Acolyte Serket, welcome to my new home." She said politely, gesturing to the manor behind her. "You'll have to forgive the work in progress, but if you'll join me somewhere warmer, I'm just not as fond of the cold as you might be." The pair would shortly depart for the front door, gently closing it behind them to keep out the cold air. As they continued to walk, Cyu led the pair to a larger room filled with odd bits of furniture and the like, but more importantly a roaring fire along one of the walls kept the room toasty.
"Have you come to seek me out as a Master?" Cyutadakyr's eyes watched the other's every move, as she sat down on a wooden chair. Since advancing in rank, it was to be expected that she took on an apprentice. Whether that was this Acolyte or another, she would not take more than one and thus elected to choose carefully. But sometimes Acolytes sought out specific knowledge or training independently, "Or perhaps you have something else on your mind?"
