Its been nearly a week since a reply has been made on my first thread and I am considering restarting it to try and get it rolling again. I would really like to get my characters story rolling so I could join other threads without having inconsistencies show up wherever I go. Is it possible for me go do this? If not what could I do to move along smoothly?

I would try the message the parties in the thread, also you could post here in the story OCC and try to find a replacement if the person/s do not get back to you. But be aware people have lives, sometimes it takes then a bit, thought normally not a full week.

If it's been frozen for nearly a week, then why don't you just let it go? Doesn't the cold reception bother you, anyway?

Dude, a week isn't that long. I've been in threads which have been on hold for months due to RPers going inactive, then returning. I'm also not a timely poster myself, and will often take a week or so off RPing just to relax a bit.

But yeah, what Taz said. If you feel the other RPers in your thread are taking too long, just PM or VM them to remind them. Do be patient though and remember that loads of things can happen to slow down a thread, people can have stressful or busy RLs, be involved in lots of other RPs, or just simply forget.

In my opinion, it doesn't matter how long the posting takes or if the thread gets completed, just as long as the writing is good.

Ok I should have seen that coming.
As for the person in question I am aware that there are many things that could be happening and I suppose I should be more patient.
