Anyone know where I can watch the first season online? I'm about 10 pages from finishing A Clash of Kings, having started the series about a month ago. I mistakenly thought I would be able to get the first season OnDemand, but alas, I can't.

So yeah, can anyone help a brotha out?

I also recommend the books but that goes without saying.

So, as this was the original Game of Thrones thread, I chose to post here.

Last nights episode as quite good, although Melisandre and Pycelles quarrels could've been a bit longer.

Rob's scene with Jaime was awesome.

Does the SWRP hive mind recommend watching this? I'm almost caught up with Mad Men and need something to watch.

I can't watch this till I read the book. Just CAN'T do it. However, after The Tudors and Rome, I'm quite taken to old days...series...things.

Shiuzu, if you're looking for a show to watch, go with Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. That show zapped my daily life away like a nerd having to choose between Kirk or Kardashian.

Already watched it all in syndication.

I've read the books so my pleasure comes from seeing it brought to a visual medium, the aesthetics they choose and the acting.

I highly recommend the series.

Same.

One of the few things where the TV/movie is as good as the books

Although I noticed some slightly subtle changes to how events unfold.

Pycelles death didn't happen at the painted table, it happened in the court at a feast, which was why the wine cup seemed so random. Castors Keep being brought in right in the first episode is also a little strange, but from the previews I've seen, that makes sense.

Pycelle is the Grand Maester in King's Landing; I believe you're referring to Maester Cressen.

At least, that's how it is in the books. I haven't seen the show yet.

Did a Marathon watch on Friday and Saturday. In love with the show and the second season came out in perfect time for Spartacus season 3 to end.

I'm quite mad at myself for mixing that up, regardless of the name error, my post still applies.

Can I just say, I am so ****ing happy with how the Dragons and Direwolves look. Of course they don't look incredibly realistic, but they feel like they are apart of the world, and that is enough for me.

So, thanks to HBO GO, the second episode is now online already.

I didn't even know HBO GO was a thing until somebody on Tumblr mentioned this to me. So I've seen the second episode and it was pretty awesome.

Without spoiling anything, I have to say that the special effects so far have been pretty damn impressive for a TV Series of it's stature. I'm looking forward to a certain scene at the end of the second book, to see how they accomplish such a feat should be interesting.

Also, Arya and Gendry <3.
