Sah'ra watched as the pair of Jedi collided, both tumbling to the ground in an uncoordinated mess until Kane regained his composure mid fall, transitioning into a roll and springing back to his feet. Her attention followed the immediate threat carefully as she took another step back, watching as he squared up for his attack.

As his saber swung for her hip, Sah'ra's own hissed to life. Blade met blade at the beginning of his swing as she held her right arm across her torso, blade held upward. As the sabers connected, held in position, her left fist snapped up and forward to potentially shatter his nose, his pride, and disrupt him from throwing her footing with his following Force attack.

This meant Sah'ra had to break her concentration on subduing the Jedi girl, but given Liana's current position, she was unlikely to become an immediate threat. Even if she did manage to recuperate and find herself capable to attack, there was still the other Sith Master to contend with.

Azar watched as his fellow Sith Master, for whatever reason, stood around watching her opponent fall, roll, reorient and launch a whole new attack instead of capitalizing on the window Azar provided. The Pureblood bristled in rage, realizing that the Master was now foolishly engaged in melee. Rolling his eyes and leaving her to her fate, he focused on his own opponent.

Since he had a hold on the female Jedi from yanking her, he doubled down on that into a choke around her neck. The Pureblood made no move to close the distance, focusing all his energy on collapsing the Jedi Knight’s throat.

The moment the Witch’s lightsaber blade met his, he rolled his wrist, pulling his viridian blade away from hers and around her blade in an attempt to get at the arm holding the blade, but his interrupted Force Push gave him a different target of opportunity. The Witch’s fist snapped upwards and Kane had just enough time to turn his head slightly so that the fist caught a little bit of nose and a little bit of cheek. His nose would break from the impact, and a cut would form under his left eye, but it was an earth shattering blow. A hiss of pain escaped his gritted teeth.

At the same time, Kane’s left hand shifted upwards, grabbing the woman’s wrist before she could pull it back, and with his lightsaber wrist already rolling, his viridian blade would slice through in a downward arc her left arm just above the elbow. His blade stayed between him and hers, and would end the arc horizontally.

Once the Witch was engaged in melee combat with her Jedi companion, or to be more specific, even a moment earlier as her dark haired Jedi friend was closing in and she had to act, the stasis was at least fully dropped with her shattered focus.

The Witch thus had the other Jedi to concentrate on, so Lia could finally scramble to her feet, feeling at least a little disoriented until the tight grip she suddenly felt around her throat forced her mind to clear in an instance. Gasping, her gaze immediately fell upon the Sith in the back.

Out of instinct, her free, left hand fell upon the invisible grip around her neck before she fought the internal panic and focused on the Light within her again. Her eyes began to water, but as her left hand shot out, it produced yet another short burst of light that aimed at instantly blinding the Sith choking her and thus breaking his line of sight.

Regardless of whether he found a way to avoid the most certainly annoying blinding attack, Lia was at least not drained in terms of her usage of the Force just yet, so right as the quick flash ceased, her right hand, that was still holding her ignited lightsaber, shot forward with a flick of her wrist and she let go of her lightsaber right then.

Why? The Sith had his full focus on the choke, his mind was most certainly fully occupied with it, so that the incoming spinning lightsaber was a deadly threat that was guided by the Force with her right hand and so that he hopefully didn't even see it come. If his focus broke, he would still be blinded and her rotating lightsaber a dangerous projectile in her control.

Perhaps if the Jedi tried any other move, it would have caught Azar off guard. However, he was prepared for Light based on the exact use prior. The moment he could sense the use he closed his eyes and reverted to Force Sight. He could make out the Jedi and her moves through the plane of the Force, and it did nothing to break his focus on choking her. The stamina drain was huge, but it was worth it.

The saber would fly at him from 30 ft away and with little time to do much else and risk focus, hecrouched down to one knee to allow the blade to fly over his head. Unfortunately, it grazed his shoulder on the way. His choke, however, remained unbroken. As a result, her throat would be crushed under his unforgiving, unwavering might.

Kane's blade meeting her own, her right arm held across to her left side, was the only thing that had required such positioning. Pulling the blade away, attempting to spin up and around her weapon while his hand had been positioned with his palm facing downward, would prove to be an awkward maneuver to perform with success.

The moment his blade moved away from her own, Sah'ra was able to quickly snap her arm across her body back to the right side. Her blade angled, tip pointed directly away from her and towards Kane's mid section. While his attack required precious seconds, hers would be immediate and unhindered. His saber arced upwards, his free hand restraining her own, leaving him defenseless. If her blade did manage to pass through the Jedi, it would sever his torso from his legs at the hips.

To further guarantee that the Knight could not successfully move with the necessary speed to find his target, the hand of Sah'ra's that he held opened and Force energy would seep through him. Similar to how she had performed a stasis on Liana mere moments ago, the Sith Master would again restrain her foe, though to a lesser degree. Rather than freeze him completely, her efforts would be applied to slowing his movements and preventing his weapon from finding purchase on her restrained arm.

Time seemed to slow down for Kane, though he knew it was just his body kicking in adrenaline to try to save itself. You will get hit. You will get hurt. Yeah, thanks Master Asshole. Real helpful now. Kane’s viridian blade did as it was meant to, arcing down and severing Granny’s arm just above the elbow. What he didn’t see coming was her swift slash at the same time until it was too late. Even if he attempted to continue spinning his own blade downward, the Sith’s lightsaber was already half way through him.

Searing heat and pain shot through his entire body as he fell, seeing something blurry that looked like two legs standing on their own where he had just been standing. Everything went black before he even felt his back touch the ground. He’d failed.

Kane gets cut in half and KO'd.

Gasping and struggling for air, Lia watched the Sith be relatively unfazed by her blinding light while not even the lightsaber that grazed him broke his focus. While her vision grew blurry and her mind clouded, she realized that the Sith she had been fighting were more powerful than she had first assumed and secondly, that they were really screwed.

With what remained of her strength and stamina, she desperately tried to do at least some damage control by trying to push his grip off and her wind pipes out, but it did not help in this hopeless, fully unpromising situation. Her bloodshot eyes quickly darted to her companion whose pain shocked her severely as his opponent's lightsaber cut through him, while yet another child died in the background.

A horrible, excruciatingly slow, agonizing death. Death and destruction was all around and slowly, her vision fully blackened. That light inside her grew fainter, and fainter, until it was fully extinguished and her limbs grew numb. Her eyes rolled upwards while the color in her face already turned a little blueish before her body motionlessly slumped down.

Lia was out, which was perhaps for the better as the last thoughts that crossed her mind revolved around the countless deaths that were now on her hands as they hadn't managed to defend that planet...

The pain Sah'ra would feel from the separation of her forearm was immeasurable. Where once she could control her hand, it's fingers, now there was nothing. Even as she stood above the bisected Jedi Knight, her victory compounded as his legs twitched their final movements, her eyes remained on the cauterized stump.

As she stared, seething in pain and anger, Sah'ra finally allowed her saber to retract, her right arm falling to her side as she held what remained of her other to her abdomen. Stewing for only a brief moment longer, she would conceal her saber once more before retrieving the hilt of Kane's, placing it alongside her own within her robes.

With the battle ceased, the soldiers surrounding them would now bring an end to the poisoning of the Genassarian populace of whom had been consumed by a stunned silence, their fate cemented with the defeat of the Jedi. The sounds of flames once more were all that filled the air. It was done.

Though there remained one final task. What had brought them here from the beginning. Sah'ra would walk towards the fallen Jedi woman, standing over her unconscious form, before looking to Azar.

”The boy is too damaged. She was your claim. The honor is yours,” she would state. Her anger, her pain, boiled. If she attempted what needed to be done, she ran the risk of exceeding what was necessary and killing the girl before they could find what they needed.

Azar rose to stand and inspected the wound on his shoulder, bristling at having his body marred by such an injury. It bothered him more than the pain itself, his vanity taking a blow. The Sith flexed his fingers a few times, sighing at his ruined robes before he grabbed the saber that landed the cut. He strode over towards the others, first glancing over towards the civilians.

“Stop the executions and release the hostages,” He commanded. Azar cast a cruel smile at the civilians, “Did you think I was joking? Every bit of this could have been avoiding if the Jedi cooperated,” He smiled simply, calling off any sustained attacks, “Our war is with the Jedi. You harbor them, you bring us. We have no quarrel here otherwise.”

The Pureblood walked over towards the female Jedi, ignoring his comrade for now. He was impressed by the attack she landed on the male Jedi, but it came at the cost of her own arm. Azar glanced down at the severed arm, pointing at it, “Save that, would you? I can work with it,” He briefly looked over at the Jedi’s legs, wondering about some experiments, but decided against it.

Azar turned to look down at the female Jedi, applying the Force to dive into her mind. He would invite Sah’ra to do so as well, but from a support standpoint. Azar tore through the girl’s mind, rifling through it without mercy. This would leave her with lapses in random memories when she awoke, and she would certainly have no idea anyone went through her thoughts. There would also be other odd changes to her personality. After a while, Azar withdrew from her mind again.

“I believe I have what I seek,” He announced as he ignited the saber. While whistling to himself, he used the tip of the saber to brand the top of the Jedi’s chest the word ‘grotthu’ written in ur-kittat. The same was applied to the male Jedi.

“Marvelous,” He said breezily at his handiwork, “Let’s go. I care for nothing from this planet,” He said as he walked past the fallen Jedi and back towards their ships, pocketing the Jedi's sabers.
