"Two days ago a high ranking member of the Cartel has been attacked. Making a move against him in the heart of Nar Shaddaa, our now former allies, the Black Thorn gang attempted to kill him while he was in a hotel with a woman. Luckily the two of them escaped and managed to take out a few of the attackers before reporting this event. Finding out about this betrayal Vero the Hutt has ordered that retaliation be swift and harsh. Those that prove themselves to the Cartel here will not only receive credits but also gain respect and the attention of the big boss himself."​

Alright, this is it folks. Moving on with this I've made a list of all those that signed up for this arc. But since we have 11 interested people, not counting myself or Matt, we'll be doing separate threads for this thing and sadly not everyone will get in on the action.

This will be a two thread arc where the Cartel retaliates for the assassination attempt on one of its Captains. For this Vero has ordered that two teams [one NPC back up team] take out the Black Thorn gang at their main base, while another team dispatches the traitors that betrayed the location of our Captain. As this is an internal matter and happens in Hutt Space don't worry about the authorities stepping in or anything like that, however expect that our enemies will fight back.

The rewards to those that prove themselves here mostly center around their reputation rising and some of you will get a chance to meet Vero himself after this one. This arc is also important because it will show which of the Cartel's members are to be considered for future upcoming inter Faction arcs.

I, SAID THE UP-IN-COMMER WHO REALLY WANTS TO MEET VERO. Well, it depends on what the problem will be exactly. I mean, I'm game/up to join in, but I might back-out depending on what the task is exactly as it wouldn't fit the direction I'm moving Elohim/Arkantos, either way this seems exciting and a good way to get the Prospects into doing some bigger things for the Cartel.

Well the Prospect that participate and stick with this until the end will gain quite a bit of respect inside the faction, aside from helping in promotions, it'll also serve as a list of people I can count on for upcoming major story-lines involving the Cartel and other factions. That's all I'll say about that.

As for Elohim I guess you'll just have to wait and see, but I don't think this will be anything that he'll back out of. Also glad to have you Doitean.

I'm afraid that the thread concept is designed more for Cartel members, or rather the main aspect of the story will focus on them. But hey since I'm a nice guy I could find you a role in there. Would you care to have your guy be the one that gets shot at by all of us? c:

Would you be willing to get caught and not fight back? In that case we could work something out. Pm me your thoughts and ideas for the char and we'll see if we can't work something out for ya. Realistically though this will be a story where the Cartel handles an internal problem using violence, so any opposition will be dealt with.
