How much precedent is there for people just organizing story arcs for others to participate in? With a reboot of the whole SWRP mythos impending, I'd rather save character concepts for afterwards, but I still really want to write for the board. To this effect I'm thinking of doing threads in a "quest" format for others, but I'm curious if anything like this has actually worked before.

To the best of my knowledge, that's similar to how the Mission threads where somebody NPC's the opposition works.

Weiss occasionally starts off scenarios that he doesn't have his characters participate in. You could do that while occasionally throwing in NPCs or story elements as elements for people to write off, I guess.
