Open to Mandalorians
Try to post/reply within 48 hour periods please. Thanks! Enjoy!

A long time had passed since Hauron had last been on Mandalore. The previous visit had ended in a fight ultimately resulting in his father had left. Now the Mikkian returned to the system in his ship, the Werda Kom'rk, piloting it down to the green glass covered surface of his ancestral home. There were a few other ships landing close by and joining the Mandorian on this expedition. They were going to look through the old city, reignite the forge and reclaim the living waters for their people.

Sundari, the former capital of Mandalore, was the nearest settlement to his present location. It even had some Mandalorians living there in shanties, ships and other makeshift homes. But the planet itself was sparsely populated compared to how it used to be. Only a fraction of Mandalorians lived on the planet and they were hesitant to deal with outsiders. The result was what appeared to be an almost abandoned world. Most outer rim travelers knew to give Mandalorian space a wide berth unless they were looking for trouble.

Hauron was not sure what he would find beneath Sundari but he was set on finding out. The Rally Master would hopefully be joined by many today. There were a few other warriors accompanying the Solus today from his clan and Rancor Squadron. Hauron was glad for the company.

Mandalore….such a world, steeped in history, in story and myth, in blood. Xim Zhan was a child of this place even though he had not been born or even raised here. Yet Mandalore was his home.

As he stepped out into the grassy field, the gold-plated pilot wondered if @Wer Tracyn would be joining him, joining them. No matter, they had been called. Xim would stand with his brethren in their time of need. Looking around, he, in truth, hoped to find a swoop, a speeder bike, or at least a skiff for whatever they were planning to do here. All in good time.

Spotting the leader of Rancor Squadron, who had summoned him, Xim set across the field to join the other Mandalorians already gathered. “Su cuy’gar ner’vod” he called to @Hauron Solus offering a bowed nod in greeting.

Oh boy! A trip to Mandalore! This was a once in a lifetime opportunity, one Xan Solus would be remiss if he missed. Standing proudly with the rest of the Solus soldiers, Xan flexed his fists into the air. "OYA! SU CUY'GAR NER'VOD!" He bellowed to all the Mandalorians present.

He had spent most of his training in space or in deep within lairs, so to actually visit the storied Mandalore was a unique opportunity. Perhaps not for most Mandalorians, who had certainly visited before, but for a certain imbecilic foundling, it was a dream come true.

He approached the commander of the Solus forces, Hauron Solus, around the same time a gold-skinned vod approached. After watching Xim's respectful bow, Xan felt compelled to
enact his own ritual of respect and generosity. He struck a series of animalistic martial arts poses combined with some kind of modern hip-hop dance. He stretched out his fists. "Xan Solus. OYA!" He already wide stance spread into a split. "At your command!" His legs slunk back up unceremoniously.

"Oh boy, this is gonna be a fun one! What're we doing here, anyways?"

"Yeesh, not so loud!" Wer rubbed his helmet as he complained at the sudden noise and energetic movements from the latest arrival. He had just arrived as well, but unlike everyone else, was still recovering from the trip. With a small bottle of Jawa Juice and a straw in one hand, Wer approached the group of fellow Mandalorians.

"Good to see you boss" Wer raised the bottle up as a form of greeting. He glanced at Xim and raised the bottle again. "Ner'vod"

Wer stretched his arms and legs slightly as if he had just stood up, and patted his red armor and looked at Xan Solus. "Sorry, I didn't mean to snap or anything. Its nothing personal, believe me. I got a nasty case of Agoraphobia, and right now the best cure is some of the Miner's cure. You know, the good stuff. Or bad stuff if you're like Xim here. Believe me, I'm pumped as well at being here."

Wer offered the bottle of Jawa Juice to the energetic Mandalorian as an apology. "Name's Wer Tracyn"

It was now Cremeks tie elder landed down upon the surface of the planet, he had heard word of a effort to reclaim the living waters, and cremek for once in his damn life arrived not for self serving ends, but willingness to help his people, a task he had been trying to accomplish in his own twisted way, a desire to combat the stagnation afflicting his people, today, Cremek was not the puppeteer of the shadow collective, he was not a sith master in exile, but a fellow mandalorian determined to reignited the forge, and in order to reinforce the idea to himself, he took his primary saber off of him, and placed it on his cockpit, taking a slug thrower instead, he chose to keep his saber guantlet just in case any serious issues presented itself, but he flicked on his transponder in order to make the others know of his presence, then hopped out to greet the rancor squadron members, with a nod.

"This where the effort is going to be made?.."
He spoke through a voice modulator, nodding respectfully to the rally master, he was well aware of the fact they were bounty hunters, but Cremek had taken measures to prevent identification, such as wearing new armor, and changing the tone of his modulator.

Stepping down the gangplank with helm I'm hand,Virgo stepped out upon the world of Mandalore in silent, but opportunic wonderment and awe. It was her first time to the world all Mandalorians coveted and sought to claim. For all outsiders, it was a barren wasteland. But for Mandalorians, it was as sacred as the Armor they adorned and the tenants they followed by heart and where Mandalore laid to bare. To gaze her mind's eye upon its presence was almost too surreal.

For most Mandalorians who would come this day, her life would have differed immensely. She wasn't born to the Mandalorian culture. She had been adopted into it. A meager lass found upon the Dunes of Tatooine at the youngling age of thirteen. Married to the heir of Clan Lok. Walked away to claim a life of her own away from criticism and disdain for her original heritage that laid behind glazed silver eyes. She was deemed Dar'Manda by birthright, or so she felt, a soulless abomination that held no place to adorn the lifeblood that belonged by all Mandalorians.

And yet, she still walked the life she was adopted into both with pride and blind faith. Perhaps, just possibly, she could prove her soul to Kad Ha'rangir and all Mandalorians if she could only bring true honor to her name and by extension, the man she called Father, her husband whom gave the ultimate sacrifice, and the Clan she cherished above all else. That's why as she gazed upon this broken world, her heart wept in silence at what it truly was. Broken, as were all Mandalorians.

Wiping the singular drizzle of a tear that adorned her cheek, she turned toward the others that had gathered. Xim, as with Wer, she knew from her last job. But @Hauron Solus was a different matter. He was known, but only in passing moments. Outside of that, he was unknown to her as was the world she stood with him upon. And yet, she had answered his call. "Ner'vod"

Her introduction was as short and to the point as was mentionable as the moment. Nothing more needed to be said. Whether he cared or not of her heritage, it was a moot point. He had called her here, and she had answered. She would stand beside her brethren until the day Kad Ha'rangir sought to call her either into damnation or into redemption. That was her sole purpose.

Mandalore. Miri had never been to the planet. She'd only heard stories. It was a part of her heritage, of all their heritages. Somehow. It was hard to be able to claim you were related by culture to the group that was gathering. Almost every single one except the Rally Master has said something, or were tearing up with their helmets off. Miri much preferred the silence of a hunt. Especially the hunt for something that would shoot back.

Miri leaned against a stack of crates, her warm grey armor purposefully dulled to not shine in light. She had her E-11D blaster rifle cradled in her arms, with her gloved hands clasped over it in her lap. A westar-35 pistol was holstered on right thigh, and a vibro-blade was attached to her belt on the left side. She was ready for a hunt, ready for war; ready for whatever awaited them in the capitol city.

She was silent though, unlike the companions here, like a hunter stalking prey. Her black visor roamed the camp's horizon. Her red Chiss eyes on the inside scanning everyone and everything. The historic precedent of the gathering was lost on her. How many times have the Mandalorians done this very thing over time? And how many times had they broken apart later.

Shale had been to many of these and they seldom went anywhere useful. In truth, she was looking forward to a potential brawl to unload some pent up energy. She had tried her hand with the Empire and she decided it wasn’t her thing, so she returned home when she heard of a Mando gathering. She was adorned in her usual black armor, walking past the ships that were parked.

Her eyes narrowed behind her helmet as she spotted a TIE that was similar to something she had been tracking. Shale brought up the BHG puck that had information on the bounty. She had a calling card from a yacht in Corporate Space where mass murders had occurred, and this particular ship was tied with her target.

Shale smirked to herself, recalling back when she had been working with the Empire to hunt down Sith. This particular TIE was associated with a particular individual that popped up several times as a Sith but also now a bounty. While the individual may have gone through armor changes, the ship remained the same.

She didn’t care who was gathered here or about the purpose of the gathering. Shale leveled her DL-44 at the individual with the saber gauntlet, “Who are you and why do you possess the ship of a known Sith?”

Rath came skidding along the crystalized surface on a sled the natives of the region made. It used the wind to propel it forward rather than a thruster. He was in Sundari searching for a weaponsmith, but was drawn by the amount of ships landing. Once he reached the group he shifted the skid and it slowly skidded to a stop.

The Mandalorian walked to the bow of the skid E-11d resting on his shoulder. He also had his twin westar-55s holstered on his upper thigh and twin beskads hanging from his hips. Meg athu'neha ma waev at Manda'yaim? As he jumped down using his jetpack to slow his descent. He would walk over to where the Mandalorians had gathered around, already noticing some form of disagreement off to the side.

Faela arrived with several other House Kryze warriors. They’d come not because of some grand ideal of unity, House Kryze had grown too jaded for that. Instead, they’d come to reignite the forge because the value it would bring to their clan. It was an endeavor worthy of the effort.

Several Kryze warriors jogged past her when her EZPhone buzzed at her waist. She plucked it up and saw a transponder notification. There was a subtle ping as the codes aligned with a ship that had been seen leaving several mass murder incidents. Someone here had a bounty?

<Brothers, you go ahead. I wanna check something out.> She stated over the House Kryze closed comms. Then she’d slip over to a channel with Miri. <Miri, we’ve got a live bounty here, transponder connected to a string of massacres. Keep your eyes sharp.>

Faela would slowly walk past several of the ships until she came to a TIE design vessel. She’d double check the transponder codes to verify. Then she’d discreetly slip her computer spike into the access panel and lean casually against the side of the ship.

With everyone so focused on what the Rallymaster was saying and the conflict playing out, she doubted anyone would notice or care about a few stragglers. Once the spike popped the access hatch and she could get in, she’d have all the evidence she needed. It was about to be payday.

A transponder signal chimed on the dashboard of the Shadow Gauntlet. The Rally Master examined the voluntary reading and saw it was a TIE/EL model starfighter. Furthermore it matched the transponder of a Sith and Suspect One at the Mindor Massacre. A seriousness came over the Mikkian and his smile disappeared underneath his helmet. Was this a challenge? Or some kind of trap? He thought to himself briefly as the ship landed nearby. He moved on to debating which course of action to take. Lethal force was appropriate for Sith.

The leader of Rancor Squadron took his sonic rifle from its mounting as he exited his ship. The badger strode with a purpose away from his vessel and towards the landing zone of the TIE fighter. He passed his brothers and sisters that had joined him, giving them a “Su cuy’gar, ner’vode.” His tone would have normally conveyed warmth but it was replaced with a stoic demeanor. Hauron would have also followed up with small talk but instead he continued walking. Those that had worked with him before knew this meant he was moments away from possibly killing someone. <“I’m going to get some answers real quick. One second fam.”> He said to the members of Rancor Squadron in Mando’a.

The Solus only slowed down when a Mandalorian wearing saber gauntlets came into view and that was to keep him at a distance of twenty meters. Hauron saw another Mandalorian come out of the shadows and level their pistol at the suspect. He heard the voice of the black clad warrior and his focus intensified on the saber-gauntlet individual. The Rally Master had already leveled his weapon at the potential threat with good reason. It did not help that the suspicious person was using a voice modulator among other Mandalorians. Everything pointed to them being this public enemy number one.

The Group Leader of Rancor Squadron leveled his sonic rifle at the suspect, aiming in preparation to fire. <“State your name and intentions.”> They would be wise to be honest.

“Kriffing hell,” Xim swore in his helmeted comm unit to @Wer Tracyn and @Dar'Manda, his two closest compatriots and shipmates. “Welcome to mow-down Mando Monday,” he grumbled as he hurried after the leader of Rancor Squadron. This was not how he hoped this little venture to the Mandalorian homeworld would go. If they could head this off at the pass, the. Perhaps their gathering could proceed.

Clan conflict was inevitable. In fact, conflict was the birthplace of growth; this, however, stank of something else; something beyond honor. With meaningful strides, Xim closed the distance between he and @Hauron Solus until he came up behind the Rally Master.

Stopping a step behind and to his CO’s right, the gold plated Mandalorian kept his weapons holstered, but his hands hovered at his waistline ready to draw blade or gun in a flash if the moment was forced. For now, it was enough to stand; drawing the inevitable line in the sand as it were. “There is no need for this,” he spoke aloud. “We are all brothers here. Save the bloodshed for the infidels.” He wanted to go on and point out that by turning on their own, it only made their people as a whole appear weak and manipulatable to outside forces, but he did not. This was neither the time nor the place, and those who were smart enough would reach that conclusion on their own. Instead, Xim Zhan stood there, awaiting the inevitable; having faith that others would stand as well. He refused to concede that this gathering was simply a means to gun one another down.

Cremek gently raised his hands, demonstrating he was no threat, if anything, he was displaying a show of friendship.

<"Hello rally master, my name is cremek candorus, rouge, scholar, and sith hunter, and I'm simply here because my honor as a mandalorian beseeched my to assist with finding the living waters for our people.">
He spoke in flawless mando'a.

He now turned to the mandalorian woman aiming the gun at him, if he truly wanted, he could probably just pull it out of her hands and snap her neck like a twig, but Cremek was.. trying to turn over a new leaf so to speak..
."because I stole it." He said plainly which wasent far from the truth actually, he had indeed stole it from the empire and made it his own.

Speaking of the tie.
when she tried to break into the tie elder, which was adorned with mandalorian markings, and a krayt dragon motif on it's wings, she would find that whoever this guy was, was damn good at security, breaching it took time, and was hardly even worth the effort, all there was were supplies, a singular saber, and a collection of westar ammo, and a stashed of cheesy romance novels hardly anything to prove he was responsible for the mindor massacre

Miri hummed back through the intercom to her sister Kryze. "Seems someone found him first." She lifted herself from the crates, moving slowly along the outskirts of the group toward the Rally Master. From her pocket, she produced a Bounty Hunter's Guild puck, turning it on to show Hauron. The words "Bounty Removed" flashed at the bottom. She stopped next to the Rally Master, her black visor revealing nothing of the apathetic expression on her face. "Hm. Pu'yida," she said aloud, not bothering to use a voice modulator.

She tossed the puck to the Rally Master, stepping away from him. Her visor fixed on the golden armored one, arms still cradling her blaster rifle. "Narir va jorhaa'ir meh gar ru hbaih, welp," she said. Miri turned, returning to her spot on the crates. She keyed the intercom to her sister (@Apollyon ) "Saber gauntlets on this one."

The computer spike popped back out of the access panel and the cockpit hissed open. Faela smirked, happy with her handiwork, she was satisfied with the results, and she took the spike back from the slot. She pushed herself off of the side of the vessel she was leaning on and climbed into the cockpit. Inside she found the hilt of a lightsaber, she attached it to her belt, it was hers now. She gently pushed all the trash from the cockpit out onto the ground and pulled out her EZphone.

She hummed happily as she connected it to Cremek's Navi-computer.

<I hear you.> Faela replied to Miri. <I'm in his ship now, another lightsaber in the cockpit.>

ACCESS DENIED

Faela rolled her eyes and sighed, annoyed at having to do more work before getting her prize. She inserted her armor's computer spike into the Navi-computer and watched it start the work. Once it was done, Faela would be able to download the ship's Navi-computer and collect everywhere the ship had been. She sat in the cockpit, her fingers thrummed on the armrest while she waited in annoyance again.

There was little acknowledgment of her presence even being present, so Virgo took her place beside Wer and Xim, helm removed as her blind eyes looked onward to new arrivals. What appeared to be Mandalorians crossing the threshold of sight quickly devolved into yet another display of what first appeared to be numerous petty squabbles between warring Clans, and yet, as was her Duty, she took off behind both the one who beaconed her call and Xim as the trio brought themselves into the brooding mixture. Yet, as the blind one gazed upon the drawing of weapons and words echoed by emotions, she soon found the quarrel of another matter.

Though she wore not her helm, an instrument devised hone her connection with her sight within the Force, she could still 'see' alot more than the rest. It was her belief in Kad Ha'rangir and his teachings that brought a semblance of peace within her and in her outlook. To act with such disregard upon such a sacred world was sacrilege.

"Lower your weapons, all of you." Her tone wasn't like her usual in this moment of time, carrying a deep disappointed undertone with a harsh scolding of anger as she treaded into their circular gathering around the lone man. "Leave the qualms of Arasuum off the surface of Mandalore. If there are qualms that needed pushed aside, then do it in the circle and let us turn our attention toward he who called us here after."

Her attention turned toward @Hauron Solus, her demeanor not so much frowned, but more inclined more to disappointment. To incur Kad Ha'rangir's wrath by soiling their homeworld, whether directly born there or connected to it by the ancestors, would bring doom to their plight. The lives lost in battle would only aid Arasuum in their nothingness.

And Mandalore still wrought battles. The only way to truly reclaim it would be in Kad Ha'rangir's blessings, each soul lost in battle under his name in his plight, could only add to Arasuum's cleansing. This was her Duty. This was all of their Duty. And it must be diligent. "Mhi solus tome, mhi solus dar'tome, mhi me'dinui an, mhi ba'juri verde.." Even though these were words spoken upon one's marriage, it rang true to all Mandalorians and for all Mandalorians.

There were no visible signs of the disappointment Miri felt toward her fellow Mandalorians. Is this how far they'd fallen? Protecting a potential Sith? Clan Kryze was right to be wary of them. With deliberate, and methodical movements Miri made her way over to where the black armored Mandalorians held the probable Sith at blaster point. Miri gave the potential Sith a glance through her black visor'd helmet and then turned to the claimant of the bounty.

<<"My sister found a lightsaber in his ship. It was in the cockpit,">> she said. Miri turned her back to the group, walking back toward where her sister was dealing with the ship. With the way things were headed, she'd much rather have Faela at her side than a bunch of Mandalorians that would defend a Sith. Even better if Kryze managed to get credits and a ship out of it.

<<"Coming to you,">> she said through her direct comlink with Faela. Kryze first and foremost. Miri held no deeper feelings about the living waters, but she sure as hell wasn't going to stick around to watch Sith defenders bathe in it.

Hauron was already on edge under the circumstances but he made a mental note to have a word with Virgo and Xim when this was over. For one thing, it was important to show solidarity with one’s tribe but that value seemed to be lost on the two. Rancor Squadron’s main focus was to fight and thwart the tyranny of others like the Sith and slavers to name a few. Here there was a possible sworn enemy at worst, and a suspicious non-squad member at best. Even Hauron was not that naive to turn a blind eye to so much evidence.

The man’s temper, his badger side that Solus were known for was on the surface and he had little patience for insubordination which was why he had taken action himself in the first place. If Virgo and Xim wanted to show a united front now was the time to not accept a scourge like a Sith into their midst. They seemed to be taking this potential enemy too lightly but then again they had never faced a wielder of the dark side in combat. Hauron on the other hand had the scars to prove it.

Another warrior, not one of Rancor Squadron approached him with a bounty puck. His helmet remained dead center on the same target as his rifle for the time being. The Rally Master freed his left hand from the stock of the weapon and caught the puck out of the air with ease. The Kryze proceeded to correct Xim verbally which felt warranted but Hauron had already returned his focus towards Suspect One.

The badger was still not convinced by the suspicious individual between his sights. <"Then you won’t mind us checking your navicomputer then.”> The Mikkian knew the stranger would probably object but they did not have a lot of alternatives given their situation. With the information on their navicomputer they could find out which route the starship had plotted to get here, what stops it had made along the way and more. The technology could place this person at the scene of the crime and verify his guilt or innocence, whichever it may be. What he did next and how he answered would also tell the Rally Master more about the truth of the matter.

Things were looking worse for the stranger when the Mandalorian who gave him the puck gave some further insight. They had an alleged lightsaber on their ship which did not look good on top of things but the badger wanted to verify that for himself too before fully believing it. Unless the saber-gauntlet guy had a believable reason to excuse the evidence pointing towards him being a Sith there was little room for discussion.

Cremek inhaled sighing, he was going to continue to be truthful, and die on his own terms if need be.

"I do not deny, I am a murderer, and one that is wanted on top of that, nor do I deny being a force user, but I went my separate ways with the sith long ago, when I was presented a choice, a choice between my people or the sith, and I chose my people. I do not fear justice for my many crimes, but I will be damned if I let my people suffer from arasuums wrath."

He cocked his head to the ship, looking to the new comer

"I stole the ship off tatooine when I was young and foolish, then I stole it from the sith, it is mine, you will find exactly what you want, I will even show it you to confirm I am no sith."

He looked back over.

"And please dont ignite my mother's saber, its unstable, it will explode in your hands.."

He now turned to the rally master.

"You wish to know my purpose? It is to redeem myself after a lifetime of failures, see mandalore untied and well, then submit myself to justice for my crimes, and die on my own terms knowing I finnaly did something right for a change."

He stood tall, ready to move and react if needed.

Wer quietly watched the event unfolding between the other Mandalorians. He was very confused about whether or not he should get involved. On the one hand, the leader of Rancor Squadren was getting involved, which meant he was getting involved no matter what. On the other hand, he was witnessing a lot of yapping and not a lot of happening, so there was nothing to get involved with…yet.

Still, Wer couldn’t help but place a hand on his chain-sword at the ready until everything played out. He was half-tempted to sing something into everyone’s comms to remind them that there was something bigger going on, but decided against it. Whatever happened next, this was on them. He would support his ner’vod and his boss, but honestly, he was still flight sick to get too involved to make any kind of informative decisions. He wasn’t going to escalate anything…yet, but his hand wasn’t going to leave his chainsword until the situation calmed down enough.

As the one named Cremek Candorus explained himself, Wer raised his Jawa juice again and sucked on it slightly, awaiting everyone else's responses.
