Iowa is the future birthplace of one James Tiberius Kirk.

I'll give you a moment to retract your comment.

Except a) I knew that and b) I didn't care because it's a fictional character.

Wow Sheo, this was entertaining. I usually don't like sharing personal information like this, but if Sheo doesn't give a shit, neither do I.

Ok, other side of the story folks (I could still be a gold digging bitch, so don't hold your breathe):

I barely talk to Sheo anymore. We became, 'just friends' a while ago. We were never engaged. We talked about marriage, we talked about lots of stuff. It was a serious relationship, for a week. I didn't want to be in a relationship with him. I have lots of complications in my life.

Me and my really good friend who I've known waaaaay longer than Sheo happens to be a Marine. He wants to help me out. If it ever happens, a marriage with him would be a business contract basically, and that was very clear between me and my friend. There wouldn't be a real wedding for Sheo to yell 'gold digger' at. My friend and I would see other people, etc. And If either of us ever wanted to really get married to someone we love romantically then we'd get divorced of course. Sheo didn't want to hear any of it and then proceeded to say, "Go **** yourself, have an awesome time don't speak to me anymore you stupid ****ing lazy bitch." THAT was really out of the blue since he has never talked like that to me before or anything.

It was a normal conversation up until that point and I really thought he was my really good friend. I thought what he said was very childish and so I guess this thread means he disagrees.

Obviously he wanted things to be more serious between the two of you than you did. I can't really blame him for reacting that way. I mean, obviously he was really serious about the relationship when it was happening, and obviously (even if perhaps naively at that point) thought about marriage some point. So to hear you say that you were going to marry someone and call it a "business contract?" That would piss anyone off, since marriage isn't supposed to be a business contract.

I barely talk to Sheo anymore. (because you decided to cut me off and go be drunk for three weeks straight.) We became, 'just friends' a while ago (yep, that was pointed out). We were never engaged (absolute lie, we had the wedding planned out, you're friends new about it, several of mine did as well). We talked about marriage, we talked about lots of stuff . It was a serious relationship, for a week (we dated nearly a year, and planned the wedding out nearly a year). I didn't want to be in a relationship with him. I have lots of complications in my life.

Fixed the rest of that for you, also I never gave out any names, so you kind of just implicated yourself in that. 80% of the people commenting on this thread didn't know we were together, so good going there. But really, you're way off topic now, we're on scooby doo, obviously.

I have no idea who this Neutrino person is anyway. I know you were going out with someone here, and I guess they changed their name to Neutrino. Can't remember the other name, though.

And yet my friends who actually know whats going on in my life think it's a good idea. And I am surprised by their opinion. So it wouldn't piss anyone off. The only one pissed off is Sheo.

And I agree about what you say about marriage. But this is just me taking advantage of the system.

I'm not even sure what to reply to that. It's so off. I don't really want to argue on here with you. I don't need the rest of swrp as an audience. Then again, I don't need to argue with you, you've thrown our friendship away.

Wow... this is what I miss when I leave? And I can understand both sides of the arguement, but have to agree with Sheo.. And I love Scooby Doo. Just had to throw that in there because it was mentioned.

When I say it would piss anyone off, I meant an ex like Sheo. Not your friends (which is very strange that they support that, by the way).

I can tell you that, were I one of those friends, I probably wouldn't have reacted the way they did. "Business contract" and "taking advantage of the system" when it comes to marriage is pretty low to me.
