At least start using some commas, or breaking up your sentences a bit.

Maybe it's over-stepping my bounds, but I don't understand what you're trying to say, outside of you being canadian and either conservative, or of the mindset that the republicans were somehow in the right over this.

And I suspect the next elections GOP will try to make this mess out as the Democrat's fault in hope of getting voters, though probably that'll backfire.
They're already saying it's the Democrats' fault for being so stubborn about a "crappy ass bill." Or at least, that's the impression when I braved the comments of conservative sites.

im sorry for the last post. your right i didnt put any commas in. Im a Canadian conservative who agrees that obama care should get put in a hole but not to the extent of shunting down government. Make more sense?

Well moving on the topic. If this government shutdown continues past the debt ceiling deadline, what happens to things as they stand? Does the US default? Do they pay the interest? Do they suck it up and act like adults and solve the problems and use the legislative process they were put into office to do? Found this site. I don't know how much of the nonsense is true and how much is just political bullshit, but thought I'd throw it out here.

pretty much the same things as what the republicans are fighting it for. They take it to a bit of an extreme but its the same idea. I dont see anything wrong with getting health insurance privetly or threw your work to be honest you pay some cash over time and you get your crap payed if/when it happens whats so bad about that? ( as long as im not mistaken on how health care works there)

The ACA is still private insurance. You can get it through your work, or through the open market. The core point of the ACA is making private health insurance more accessible to the 15% of the country that does not have it.

Not that that's a good thing. For-profit health insurance is detestable.

Those pictures at the top of the page aren't a good sign for legitimacy.

^This. Not only that, while the U.S. Government is filled with hot-headed crack-jobs, and that's putting it nicely, I doubt they'd make such a bold move as to annex 16 states from the charter. Every state and the amount of income they bring in towards the national government is way too important for them to just "off" them like that. I could be wrong, and the Government could take 16 states off the charter, but I seriously doubt that. Civil war is the last thing this nation needs in its current predicament.

Word to the wise: if the word "patriot" is in the title, it's not a legitimate site. That's a word most often used by right-wing groups.

I love Humon! I get the majority of my world news from her

Hey, remember the days we got our decent reasonable news from major networks rather than forums and satirical comics and newshows on comedy networks?

Me neither.

Okay, not all are bat-s*** crazy like FOX, but I feel the amount is decreasing over time.

Al-Jazeera and BBC are pretty decent.
